Re: Liverpool v FC Basel > Tuesday December 9th Liverpool to win american -140. Sterling is the key player for this game. I have to disagree with the earlier post about his quality. Sterling in my opinion is most effective roaming the middle of the park allowing the forward(s) to pull of the back shoulder of the center back. He provides nothing from the wing and is quickly burning out. Rodgers is cooked if they lost tonight so i think they will get it done in the second half via a set piece. Basel have only struggled in recent times with crosses with pace(zonal marking)

Re: Crystal Palace V West Ham > Tuesday 3rd December I have to disagree with the goal totals for this game. I believe this game will be open due to the fact that both team need points. Carlton Cole is finally going to play up top which will give West Ham a target man to hit. Palace is not the same team without Zaha who accounted for most of their goals last season against lesser talent. I see palace scoring first with west ham scoring two or three unanswered. Over 2.5

That was three years ago that New Zealand did that. Plus they are going to be putted under stress with a high pressure look from mexico. I dont think they have the skilled player out of the back four to control the tempo of the game. The reason behind this is he wants the european players to know that every spot is up for grabs. The team that they are fielding are plenty capable of winning at home in this environment. Chicarito is not in form and its too long of travel for him and the giovanni. This team will press high and maintain possession and will feed off the crowd. I have been to this stadium before and its a intimidating place for any club to visit let alone New Zealand. Yes we know that New Zealand didn't lose a match at the World Cup but who cares. I would take Newcastle today for the simple fact that Van Fall has lost the locker room. Given the amount of pace that the reds have lost this season,it's kind of a miracle that they are so high in the table. If Carrick is back, then that would be a huge lift for the chemistry of the team and would especially help Martial. The service into him as been poor which reflects in his goal scoring rate..
Take Newcastle only if Carrick is not playing otherwise take the draw..
