  1. Re: Arsenal v AS Monaco > Wednesday February 25th Wenger played an all out attack game against palace on Saturday with Giroud,Ozil,Wellbeck and Sanchez all starting first time together and they managed an early lead and concludes the first-half with a 2-0 lead. In a press conference,Arsene told that he wanted to see how the 4 combined and when substituting Ozil,Sanchez and Wellbeck,we all see how palace came over them with a near equalizing goal hitting the bar. So if Arsene goes all out attack again,im expecting them to take the lead before half time even if Monaco defense is good and can't see Wenger substituting them again early or late 2nd half substitution of one attacking player after leadind, but Arsenal is a better to watch team as we all know. Interesting opta stats here:Alexis Sanchez has scored in each of his three Champions League games at the Emirates this season Preferably Will go for Sanchez anytime @ 2.80 bwin

  2. Re: Liverpool v Aston Villa > Saturday January 18th Liverpool FC back at Anfield with SaS,a sublime Sterling, also Allen and Sakho which will be back from 3 weeks injury. Liverpool attacking front is under fire right now (NOTE:51 GOALS just behind M.City 59), with SaS back in combi and Sterling showing he's improving match after match which results 5 goals scored against the toughest defence of EPL last week at Britannia Stadium. BUT there's a real "HOLE" in their defence right and stoke managed to score 3 goals. Allen and Sakho will be back but still can they hold the 90 mins after missing 3 weeks from injury and will Rodgers start em ?? Those are the questions to be answered.. Having Reviewed the match against Stoke I can say that there's a real miscommunication going on in LFC's four-backs and even with Stevie doing a more defensive work at Stoke they took 3 goals.Talking about Stevie's return apart from his 90mins Header which could have been the best own goal of the season;),he's been exceptional after coming from injury,as usual surgical on his long ball passing and controlling game tepo.Keep it up Stevie. Sturridge!!What about him? Well I don't think anybody needs to hear more from the SaS performance BUT what I want to highlight is his fantastic come back from a 2 month injury. He played like he was never injured or miss 2 month competition and his goal was wonderful. Sterling improving game after game and showing a devastating speed that improves drastically Liverpool's going forward. Now against A.Villa where there's a very good Benteke which could trick that fragile Liverpool's defence and surprisingly having a very good away defence could Liverpool take those 3 points? The answer for me is a big YES considering the 90mins SaS combi ,the average Villa away scoring and the Anfield factor and of course the motivation of keeping contact with top-three for CL qualification..There maybe the question of an Arsenal beating them only 1-2 but Arsenal's attacking power is not a reference but the attacking and moving forward capacity of LFC with SaS and Sterling could prove too much for the Villains but not denying Villa could net one also. Rafa Benitez was interviewed and tipped Liverpool to be in top-four by the end of the season and highlighting LFC playing M.city,Arsenal and Chelsea at Anfield and having no European commitment as the other big teams so they will have enough time preparing for each EPL game (source: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/exclusive--rafa-benitez-liverpool-will-qualify-for-champions-league-ahead-of-manchester-united-because-they-have-no-european-distractions-9065617.html ),they will also be bound by less injuries or fatigue. Liverpool taking the 3 points against Villa seems too obvious to me and the score could be high again as they seems to care for the goal-average also which who know's could help later. 3. Re: Manchester City v Liverpool > Boxing Day

I'm going against the crowd here 6 of the last 9 have ended in a draw Man citys prem record when at home to liverpool reads 3-5-3 So based purely on stats and and in the hunt for value i'm backing the draw @ 4.2
Just want to underline something here, You can't take Man city prem record at home to Liverpool like this as maybe you forget that there was an older Man City and now a new one since the Qataris took over... ENORMOUSLY HUGE DIFFERENCE!! So judging on those stats is irrelevant. GL with your bet.
  4. Re: Swansea City v Everton > Sunday December 22nd

4pts Everton to beat Swansea 6/4 Bet365 I have enjoyed watching Everton this season and while Swansea may well be better suited to this Everton style than the David Moyes’ Everton style I still expect the Toffees to have too much for the home side here. Injuries aren’t helping Swansea and their form seems to have deteriorated. Everton are very consistent and don’t lose many and they can head to Wales and bring back the three points here. 5. Re: Liverpool v Cardiff City > Saturday December 21st Malky Mackay told to 'resign or be sacked' by Cardiff owner Vincent Tan Source: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/cardiff-manager-malky-mackay-told-2944788#ixzz2nxWzaJpF Seems gonna be another Suarez's demo here....!!!! Many facts here: 1.Liverpool won both ht/ft in their last 8/9 home matches in the Premier League. 2.Over 2.5 in LFC last 6 games. 3.Cardiff lost last 5 away games. 4.Most importantly Liverpool will go to Man City on 26th Dec then go to stamford bridge after receiving low morale Cardiff @ Anfield so securing 3 points here is crucial to move to the summit of the table knowing Arsenal can drop points with Chelsea. All in all with the pressure in Cardiff's admin right now seems to be another prey for Luis Suarez. Suarez first goalscorer @ 3.09 betfair seems fair here and Liverpool ht/ft @ 1.67 paddypower seems powerful...!!!

  6. Re: Manchester United v West Ham > Saturday December 21st Manchester United will be looking for an increasingly rare home victory when they face struggling West Ham. Opta have worked out all the statistics so you don't have to. Manchester United have lost none of the last nine league games against West Ham, winning eight in a row before drawing 2-2 at the Boleyn Ground last season. United are 1.38 to win. The Hammers have failed to score in six of their last eight Barclays Premier League games against Man Utd. The home side are 2.06 to keep a clean sheet. Wayne Rooney has scored seven goals in his last six Barclays Premier League appearances against West Ham. Rooney is 1.96 to score. West Ham United have drawn five games 0-0 this season, the most in the Barclays Premier League. The goalless draw is 17.5. Manchester United have not lost three successive home league games since Dec 1978 - Feb 1979. You can lay United at 1.39. The Hammers have won just one of their eight Premier League away games this season (D3 L4), failing to score five times. Manchester United are 2.04 to win half-time/full-time. Man Utd have had 39 points after 16 games in each of the past two seasons, 14 more than they do this season (25).The draw is 5.5. The last time Man Utd had as few as points as this after 16 Premier League games was 2001-02 (24). A West Ham victory is 10.5. West Ham have failed to score in nine of their Premier League games this season - only five sides in the history of the competition have failed to score in more of their opening 16 games of a campaign. United are likely to be priced at around 2.1 to win to nil. Man Utd have scored only eight goals in eight Premier League home games this season, only four clubs have managed fewer. Under 2.5 goals is 2.26. http://betting.betfair.com/football/opta/opta-stats-manchester-united-v-west-ham-united-191213-629.html?

  7. Re: Manchester City v Arsenal > Saturday December 14th I take this one early here.Man City have been outstanding @ the allianz arena beating Bayern with prices as low as 8.0!! Man city have been awful in their away matches that cost them vital points in the EPL and maybe what's justifying their yummy prices against what the planet today the best team BAYERN!! But we should not forget bout their injuries and Pellegrini's adjustments as a new coach Now Man City have reach their 'vitesse de croisiere' and their improvements away from home could be underlined here beating west brom, drawn @ southampton but moving to Germany and beating a Bayern Munchen, seems Pellegrini find the right formula. Manchester City are still favorite to win the EPL @ most bookies and believe me guys that those geeks are better analyst than us puntersloungians!!! Man city will have one more day to rest before welcoming Arsenal and the latter is in great pressure in its CL group with a difficult move to the Napoli of Benitez. Man City will have the opportunity to come closer to Arsenal with only 3 point to the Gunners if the latter are defeated @ Manchester. With that more day of resting, the confidence gain by beating Bayern and lesser injuries with Lescott and D.Silva back @ Etihad and the EPL DREAM coming closer!!! I am all over a Man city to win @ 1.95 totesport

  8. Re: Manchester United V Everton > Wednesday 4th December Everton is playing really great football under Martinez and nobody could doubt that with 7 goals in their last 2 matches with the likes of Barkley and Mirallas rested against stoke as underlined by Aidymac not to say under-fire Lukaku and Deulofeu outstanding lately,Man utd has to develop their top-level football if and only if they managed to in order to win comfortably. Have a look:http://www.morningstaronline.co.uk/a-5587-Martinez-Well-attack-United-at-Old-Trafford?#.Up55l8QW2So Expecting RVP to start the game with Rooney surely they will score at Old Trafford and on the other side Everton attacking great form with the fragile defence of Man Utd(8 goals conceded in their last 6 games) plus Jones suspended all this adds up to a 'both to score' seems a banker bet here. BOTH TO SCORE :YES @ 1.78 Betvictor

  9. Re: Liverpool V Norwich City > Wednesday 4th December Liverpool predicted XI v Norwich City: Mignolet; Johnson, Skrtel, Sakho, Flanagan; Gerrard, Lucas; Moses. Coutinho, Henderson; Suarez. Source:http://www.givemesport.com/407518-liverpool-predicted-lineup-v-norwich-city?autoplay=on or as per squawka.com : 4-2-3-1: Mignolet; Flanagan, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson; Gerrard, Leiva; Sterling, Coutinho, Henderson; Suarez [h=3]Team News[/h][h=3]Liverpool[/h] Defender Kolo Toure will undergo a late fitness test to determine whether his hip injury will keep him out of the Reds’ starting lineup this weekend. Star striker Daniel Sturridge will again miss this fixture with his ankle injury, while Jose Enrique (knee) and Sebastian Coates (knee) both remain long-term absentees for Brendan Rodgers’ side. [h=3]Norwich City[/h] Chris Hughton not only comes into this fixture with a dismal away record but with a number of key players missing. Anthony Pilkington (hamstring), Robert Snodgrass (knee), Mark Bunn (ankle), Alexander Tettey (high ankle sprain), Ricky van Wolfswinkel (ankle) and Elliott Bennett (knee) will all miss this one, and will certainly be missed by the Canaries as they seek to win back-to-back matches for the first time this season.

  10. Re: World Cup Qualifiers European Play-Offs > Tuesday November 19th Don't know if you guys watch French channels a lot but what I can tell you is that 'les Bleus' are really motivated so much that Giroud even says yesterday night on TF1( A FRENCH LOCAL CHANNEL) that he is fed up of talking now and they just want to go on the pitch and show what they can do. Pressured by the press surely as they are the only unqualified yet on paper of the first 22 big teams(Ranking). But they will go there with roaring fans which have been 'marketized' by the local media those last days to over-support at home.Frenches like History AND sincerly believe they have the quality.I'm over-confident of their full time win even Qualification. Possible start-ups as per 'the specialist' of Canal +):Lloris,Evra,Debuchy,Sakho,Varane,Cabaye,Pogba,Matuidi,Ribery,Valbuena,Benzema(as per their last training last night) France full time @ 1.44 bet365 (10/10) France qualify @ 2.80 bet365 (7/10)

  11. Re: Man City v Blackburn > Sat 25th Feb Manchester City AH -2.5 @2.3 paddypower Manchester City over 3.5 goals @ 2.7 paddypower M.City is my banker bet for today the only question for me is by how much will em seal it??? Tevez back in training but question remains bout when he'll join? Toure will be back and the likes of Ballotelli,Dzeko,Silva,Kompany,Nasri and in-form Kun Aguero(assigned man of the match against PORTO), Blackburn will just have to limit the damage!!! Both the Manchester's are in "should-win" mode for the title...no excuses..any mistake will be fatal for any one of em..the world knows that.. So they'll have to secure situations and Blackburn coming to them is a big opportunity to take the 3 points and praying for Norwich to hold United on the other side.. They almost destroyed the last europa league cup holder PORTO with a 4-0 earlier this week and what can help Blackburn are some tired legs from their opponents but still think that they'll just have to limit the damage!!

  12. Re: Arsenal v Spurs > Sun 26th Feb Arsenal will be coming in front of their fans surely ashamed of their last perf being knocked out of FA and in CL(Mathematically)..Big pressure on Wenger and his team to reassure their fans hungry for a cup those last years..they should at least now try to secure a CL qualification to calm minds and SPURS coming to them in a really bad moment..still more pressure on Arsene's team in this derby and in situations like those most of the time suits the less 'under-pressure' ones and in this case TOTTENHAM will try profiting Arsenal's present bad karma .. Considering the fatigue and pressure on Arsenal I will go for Tottenham great value for odds @ 3.27 Note that Adebayor,Ekoto and Modric were missing against Stevenage and the pitch was awful KINDA same as what Real endure at CSKA.. Note also that Arshavin left for Zenit on loan.. GL to all...

  13. Re: England » Barclays Premier League » Oct 22/23 Arsenal V/S Stoke See much value in the odds of Stoke here. Not expecting an easy game for Arsene's guys here even thou they picked-up the 3pts against OM in CL. Some important stats to consider for Tony Pullis guys against the BIG ONES: draw with Chelsea 0-0, and against Man Utd 1-1..beaten Liverpool 1-0..So surely guys dont underestimate Stoke and with odds of DNB @ 4.8 UNIBET AND FT Stoke win upto 7.2 @ BETSAFE seems really enticing.Stoke quite convincing @ home have yet to prove their away performance thou. Comfortable win in europa against M.Tel Aviv and 2-0 against Fulham in EPL,the guys like Crouch, Walters and Pennant will surely make life hard for Wenger today. Another interesting stat is that Arsenal right now is rated 3rd worst defence in EPL with 17 goals having hit their net SO BEWARE OF 'LONG PASSING' GUYS LIKE DELAP AND 'LONG PLAYERS' LIKE CROUCH TO CONCLUDE who could make Wenger to throw water bottles again today!!!!;) So good value: 1pt Stoke win FT 2pts DNB Stoke

  14. Re: UEFA Europa League Final > 18 May

    Sport Football (Europa League)
    Event Braga v Porto
Selection Braga to lift the trophy
    Strength 10/10
    Date 18/05/2011
    Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 5.00
Reasoning Europa League final. Porto were originally opened as -1 favorites and the price has been going down ever since, becoming -1.25 at the moment. Of course, Porto are the favorites of the clash and no one can doubt that. The only problem is, I don't think they deserve to be such favorites. Both teams are from Portugal and probably know each other very well, and if this was a league match the situation would be different I suppose. But we've got a final here. The spirits are high in the air and the pressure is on, even on Porto. Braga players feel their momentum and playing the final of the Europa League - it usually boosts the underdog. Porto have got a wonderful team and they've proved on many occasions how good they are, but Braga have been clinical on counters and their defence has been solid like a rock this season. Even on the road. Some people say they are tyical home team and that they can't play on the road. I wouldn't say so. I liked them very much at Liverpool, Dinamo Kiev and not lastly - Benfica, and they always defended well while also creating goalscoring opportunities. Porto have been really dominant in this competition but mainly because of their strong attack, not necessarily because of their defence who was quite exposed at times. If Braga make no mistake at the back, they will have a wonderful chance to make it tight until the last minutes and eventually pick up a glorious result.
:eek Dude Porto won the league by 84 points and second in the league is benfica with 63 points and if my maths good that's an awesome difference of 21 points. Porto attained and are on another level this season and for me they are CL level right now and not Europa. Falcao is a goal gunning machine assisted by an on form Hulk. Their only weakness is their defence where Braga can nick one or two if I'm not exaggerating but Porto are way above Braga. Havent you seen their europa matches at least. Braga have been able for me to reach the final by chance same as Schalke 04 reach semi final of CL but Man Utd showed they were a class above and here Porto is a class above Braga. PORTO -1AH @ 1.73 188bet IMO still nice value.. 8/10 Anyways GL with your bet.:ok
  15. Re: Spain - La Liga - 10-11 May Sevilla FC FT @ 3.70 188bet There's good value here in the odds of Seville which was around 3 something against a Real Madrid. They've manage to score 2 goals against Madrid and now even away from home I still consider them to be undervalue here as was Real Madrid last time against them. Good value here IMO. What do you say guys??

  16. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 17 March

Liverpool -1.5 @ 2.30 pinnacle Though Braga won the first leg 1-0 at home, they did not really show much to say that they will be able to hold out Liverpool at Anfield. Liverpool were once again pretty poor on the road, with some players like Poulsen and Spearing playing when they are not up to the standard expected at Liverpool, but they were not really troubled, and the goal they conceded was a penalty was for a poor tackle by Kyrigiakos. Apart from that they were not really troubled, and knowing that Braga do tend to struggle away from home, while Liverpool usually save their best when they play at home, then can see them to score the 2 goals to get them into the quarter finals of this competition.
Totally agree and also guess Caroll will start or get in early today.. Match stats of their last confrontation @ Braga shows a 50-50 ball possession so 'logically' @ anfield Liverpool will get better. Adding also a correct score of 2-0 Liverpool @ 6.50 188bet.. GL to all..
  17. Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 8 March

Ok let’s start with team news. RVP and Walcott are out while Fabregas and Song are both racing to be fit in time.

Wilshire, which is sure to come out on the field from the first minute, is not ready yet for such a big much against Barca and will look nervous when the opponent will force him to run without the ball. Nasri is good player and can help gunners a lot, Arshavin is man of the mood and can be hot or cold, RVP is a big blow for Arsenal as Shamakh and Bendtner are out of form a little bit and I’m not sure if they will represent any threat for Barca. I think the main problem of Arsenal is the center of defense. Trio Koscileny - Djourou - Skilachchi can go wrong at any moment. Keeper Szczesny is not experienced enough and can make mistakes under pressure

I though Barca looked better in 1st game.Arsenal came back in second half but overall Barca was a better side.I don’t see how Arsenal can take points here or even score.

Expect Barca to make early pressure on Arsenal. This match will be battle of the miedfields and Barca should come up stronger.

Xavi and Iniesta, who certainly constitute, together with Busquets central midfield trio of Barcelona, love and are able to wear down opponents. They keep ball cool and can make opponents look silly while chasing them down without a ball.

The main strike force of Barcelona - is, of course, Messi. David Villiers and Pedro are no less dangerous as Lionel.

Barcelona play exceptional on Nou Camp especially when they have to win .I just doesn’t see how Arsenal can stop Barca here.

    Picks:

Barca to win to nil @2.10 bet365

    Barca -1.5AH @1.775 bet365
Well pretty confident bet for me too. Don't believe I'll have to add to what already have bee said so far for this match what I can add is that I just watch a recent interview of Pep Guardiola and this guy seems really prepared and confident by saying that he wants the full squad of Arsenal to play this match VanPersie Wallcott everyone..Seems Pep don't want any excuse from Arsenal after Barca will throw them out..:eek
  18. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 4th November Liverpool V Napoli Liverpool @ 1.94 188bet Im expecting odds dropping here from the home side so posting early. Liverpool managed an excellent draw at Napoli last time with a weak under-stressed field.Tomorrow it gonna be another story with a more confident field coming from 2 consecutive wins in the EPL that catapulted them out of the relegation zone to the 13th place on the table and now their morale are boosted like never before with also their mind blowing financial crisis over now.Hodgson starting a strong field Thursday to make sure of the 3 points at home.Johnson gonna be back.Gerrard and Torres both starting. Getting the feeling that the Italian side will suffer at Anfield Road.:ok:dude
