PSV has a pretty nice attack force, but their defence isn't good at all (which cost them last weekend, 6-2 loss at home versus Twente with pretty much their entire squad at full strength). They might be slightly overpriced, but in all honesty I can't see them winning or even getting out a draw against a motivated Valencia side. I have actually taken a small bet on Valencia, simply because Dutch teams never do good away from home against the sub top of the Spanish league... the class difference is too much.

In fact, I love the offensive potential of PSV, Mertens is one of my favourite players. But facing a solid Valencia side, who is an experienced side I see the attackers of PSV denied. Having Soldado in great shape, I can see him scoring at least once against a bad defence of PSV. The 6-time greeting from Twente adds to this. Valencia is almost sure on the third spot in Primera, so they can put their focus on Europa League. Valencia -1 @2,55 (local) I may also try Atletico -1@1,95 but there is no need to hurry. -

out of them players mentioned mate the only miss is catts really which was proved in the 1st game as boro bullied us at times, ive been too all the home games since MON took over and Bendter has done nothing really, spends his time hugging the wing when hes ment to be a striker, browns been very shaky as of late. kilgallon hasnt featured for us in i dont know how long and from what i remember he wasnt the best when he 1st came to us. boro also have major injuries. Middlesbrough played well and got a 1-1 draw at the Stadium of Light and now have home advantage for the replay at the Riverside, where no doubt, there will be an incredible intense atmosphere. Julio Arca is expected back in the Boro line-up, but Barry Robson could be a big blow, he may miss the game due to injury. Boro have been in poor form of late, picking up only 2 points from a possible 15 in their last 5 games in the league. They still remain in the play-off positions though. Sunderland have been a revelation since Martin O'Neill took charge, he could well get manager of the season, and deservedly. They have won 3 in a row in the PL but Sunderland have some major injury doubts tonight. Re: Sunderland v Reading > Sat 25 August with the new signings thats been made in the last 24hrs the crowd will be like a 12th man today, fletchers mystery injury means he is available to play but whether he will start or not is another matter, johnson on the other hand wasnt signed in time altho i have read a couple of rumours on our forum he was i dont believe them. so i think saha up front n sess playing just behind him is the way MON will start today. our only injurys are in defence with bardsley out for 6 weeks but craig gardner has shown he is good cover there. last season we beat all 3 newly promoted teams comfortably at the SOL and i think it will be the same this year, im a bit biased as im a season ticket holder but since he took over MON has made the stadium of light a very hard place for teams to come and play at. just have to see our results against citeh in the league n arsenal in the cup to see that. so with that im goin for a big win to start the season off with a bang! sunderland -1 5pts @3.5 (whills) sunderland win 10pts @ 1.95 (whills)
