An initial inspection has taken place on the Edgar Street pitch, which was deemed unplayable on Friday afternoon. Heavy rain is forecast to fall early on Saturday morning and through to the scheduled kick-off at 12:30pm. However, the Football Conference have instructed the Bulls to arrange a further inspection at 7:30am on Saturday morning. An announcement will be made shortly after 7:30am on Saturday morning here on the Official Hereford United Website.

    Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Sep 19-18 if this is not the place but here are a couple of comments from my m8 reguarding newport the supporters trust in newport county need there arse kicked... i cant believe the 2 supporters trust members dont want the consortium to take over all about power and there gravy train ending.... tossers... 3 directors ( 2 supporters trust reps) left on the board and all 3 putting up blocks.. chairman cant do anything as hes not on the board yet grrrr.. i hope they dont mess it up for us. http://www.southwalesargus.co.uk/sport/9928771.Consortium_pull_out_of_Newport_County/ the consortium will only take over if there are major changes to the club...all they want is for it to be more professional !!! it seems that the trust reps have acted unilaterally.... time for change or Newport will go no where

The guys who write these articles are not aware of what is happening in Newport. The guy who won the Lottery is not a Money man who is going to buy newport success. The team that Newport have gathered are just rejects from other clubs and free transfers. As Newport go up the League ladder they will increase the annual investment depending on the league they are in. Matt also pays all the County bills....the move to Rodney Parade is vital to Newport as we are now in central Newport not on the outskirts. Plus we have a decent stadium to play in and has added 800 onto the crowd...ok a bad run will see that dwindle. So far no money has been invested so his assumption is right that next season is when the big Newport push will take place. I have 50/1 on Newport as i expected the take over to have gone through by now...but its about a month away. So if were top at Christmas i think they will help the manager out with new players...our squad is only 17 players currently
