Derbyshire have a top 3 in Durston, Bosman and Hughes that can blow anybody away, they also have Langers who is a world class bowler at the death. Worcestershire are shocking. They have just the one win. Out of the Royals side not many would get in the Derbyshire team. Their bowling is average and jayasuriya is way past is best Derbyshire have home advantage and boast a 3-3-1 record. I will be amazed if derbyshire cannot put away a mediocre team away. I wouldnt touch them at 8/15 as they are no value but 5/6 *(now 4/5) they are great value, How this game is a virtual pick em in the eyes of SJ's is beyond me.Why? -

Re: Cricket: Friends Provident Twenty 20 Leicestershire 10/11 to beat Derbyshire. 365 actually opened Derbyshire as favs which was beyond me. Derbyshire have no Bosman or Langers yet, have a team in which most of the batsman are out of form and the bowlers are poor. Leicestershire have Brad Hodge, MCDonald, Taylor, Jacques Du Toit, all we have are Greg Smith (in poor form) and Chesney Hughes who are big hitters. This could get ugly.

Winning any match would be a start. The game against Holland absolutely patheticI read it somewhere. Telegraph I think. As a Derbyshire fan, can you ask your lot to start winning a few 4 day matches, although not this week ;). -

I got told but cant find it anywhere For my sins I support Derbyshire, a good team to lay in T20 as we will be god-damn pathetic. When I went to Edgbaston the other year we beat them and the "fans" were wanting to fight us cos they had lost to us. You couldnt make it up.

Durston about to be snapped up by a county side.Sorry don't know the price but it was a very short boundary and great wicket for batting on. Durston (played in the Champions League for Somerset) still played a blinder but Sussex bowlers should never have let them get near that total! Unicorns might be worth a look in the future if they play more games at Arundel. -

You wear your colours? Have been there before many a time and have given up wearing colours a lot of cricket "fans" bring the football mentality to Edgbaston and just looking for a ruck What happened to David Griffiths? I hacve had him in my fantasy cricket and you cant change any players. He injured?Cracking day to watch cricket today. Not a cloud anywhere to be seen. Even better as a Hampshire fan to turn up and see us splatter the league leaders all around Birmingham. Easy win for Hampshire but Maddy did next to nothing which was all the more annoying as I nearly took Ervine's performance instead :eyes. +1.88pts for the day though so 8.88pts up for the tournament now.

Re: Cricket: Friends Provident Twenty 20 I hate betting my own team. They nearly somehow managed to blow that made that a closer game than it should be. I checked when I was @ the game and they were 1.05 on betfair. Couldnt never trust them at those odds. Anyone know what the best price you could have got on Derbyshire when it was getting a bit tense?
