  1. Re: Australia A-League 2010/2011 Season

Wellington are unbeaten at home in 24 games. But I really don't fancy them tonight against Brisbane. The visitors are the best footballing team in this league and have excellent form. Records are made to be broken, the draw is a danger I guess, so lay of Wellington @ 2.76 is my bet here.
Brisbane win 3-1, great call mate. Any thoughts on the Perth/Melbourne game? Perth manager has threatened every players position. Very warm in Perth today, could benefit the home side.
  2. Re: UEFA Europa League > 16th September

I think Liverpool will win to nil, but liverpools weakness is beating teams who park the bus & as good as those players you mentioned are, they've hardly played much football lately. Jamie carraghers testimonial aside cole hasn't played since the last Europa league game, babels had the odd sub cameo while N'gog is just back from an injury... Meireles has played with this team for all of 10 minutes. I'm probably wrong, but I think you'd need steaua to score to make the overs.
I see where your coming from, Liverpool do often have problems against teams that park the bus. I think this is because in the past we've often played two defensive midfielders and Torres up on his own. Torres is usually ineffective against inferior sides with defensive set up's imo, as they often apply physical pressure and he is unable to use his pace. You need clever, tricky, one touch players against these sorts of sides. Maybe i'm being optimistic but I think Maxi, Cole and Meireles are those type of players. Let's hope so.
  3. Re: UEFA Europa League > 16th September

Obviously not 100% confirmed, but this is the expected Liverpool like up for tonights game. Reina; Kelly, Kygriakos, Agger, Konchesky; Maxi, Spearing, Meireles, Babel, Cole; Ngog Unders could be a good bet based on this side
I disagree. I think this is a fairly attacking side (for Liverpool). Ngog, Babel and Cole are dangerous around the box, and from what i've seen of Meireles he is too. I like Liverpool to win this to nil and Liverpool -1.5.
  4. Re: AFL Weeks 1 Of Finals Fremantle are a very young side with very little finals experience. Where as the Hawks, with a very similar side, won the flag two years ago. Fremantle have been the better side clearly this year but that can be irrelevant in finals. I can see why punters have jumped on the Hawks, but as a Freo supporter I won't be. I think the Saints are good value, also give Bulldogs a chance. Anyone looking at taking Cats or Pies I suggest Under 39.5. Weather is meant to be rubbish in Melbourne and finals are usually tight.

  5. Re: UEFA Europa League > 29th July

Have u Seen odds on Liverpool?:lol Lay them all the way.Even if Torres and Gerard play i still won't take them. Will be looking for Rabotnichki on handicap.Liverpool is a mess atm, they need some times to sort things out and find their game
Why are Liverpool a mess? They haven't played a competitive game this season.
  6. Re: Cricket: Pakistan vs Australia - 2 Twenty20 Internationals & Test Series

One bet i fancy for the 1st Test tomorrow. Tim Paine 84 or over player performance points 5/6 Bet365 Points are scored as follows: 1pt per run, 10pts per catch & 25pts per stumping. Debut start for him tomorrow and i fancy him to go way over this. Aussies played Derbyshire in a warm up and Paine got 52 and 2 catches in the draw with only 1 innings each played. With this Test at Lords he has warmed up nicely with 54 in the ODI aginst England and other mid 40's scores to go along with it. Also being a wicketkeeper he'll be in the mix with catches/stumpings and should get the points. :ok
Just letting you know, unlike the shorter forms of the game Paine won't be opening. Still like the it though.
