  1. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday December 11th Two very important players; Atiba and Demba Ba are definitely out for Besiktas. Adding to this, Besiktas haven't been playing on their own ground. And their success hasn't been good enough there. The crowd will not be as usual because of the stadium and I'm not expecting a similar situation as in the past Tottenham game several years ago when the Carsi broke the decibel record. As far as I got information from the club's news website, almost 8000 tickets sold so far. These might be helpful for some of you i guess. Take into consideration

  2. Re: Galatasaray SK v Arsenal > Tuesday December 9th

WARNING : DO NOT BET ON ARSENAL ... GALATASARAY fired Prandelli a few weeks ago .. and hired an inexperienced coach with great potential who was a Galatasaray player . Knows the Turkish mentality knows the players ... they don't play great at the moment ... but spirit of classic Galatasaray playing style goes on .. similar to Fatih Terim's style ... whole team pressing up front ... not giving up till the last second .. That is what the fans desire ... Running around like wild dogs and playing with the heart !!! Galatasaray approaches this game as the last game in Europe this year and with the new coach they want to win this game ... They do not want to lose and give the fans a parting gift !!!
Running around like wild dogs could not help the team to win I guess. I agree with you that glata will probaby start the game in a high pressure up front, but the point is how many minutes will it continue? If they score, than Arsenal will score and draw for halftime. If they can't score than Arsenal can score, and away half time. Similar picture on the second half...I'm expecting a draw or away win but I can't see any value on this match. Two unpredictible team at the moment. GL :D
  3. Re: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifiers > Friday October 10th Possible 11 of Turkey ; Tolga Zengin (Besiktas), Gokhan Gonul (Fenerbahce), Semih Kaya (Galatasaray), Ersan Gulum (Besiktas), Caner Erkin (Fenerbahce), Mehmet Topal (Fenerbahce), Selçuk Inan (Galatasaray), Oguzhan Ozyakup (Besiktas), Arda Turan (Atletico Madrid), Olcay Sahan (Besiktas) and Umut Bulut (Galatasaray). As far as I follow & observe Turkish league, that's not the best 11 but not a bad 11 as well. Turkey's three big club's players (except Arda turan). When I check the forms of these players, i can say Besiktas players are in good form. The others are ok. The only question here is Umut Bulut. He's been at the bench for all the games of galatasaray and I don't remember if he's taken any minute. Aynthing can be happened in this match and I guess No Bet is a good choice!

  4. Re: Ligue 2 > October 3rd - 6th I watched the Arles game from the beginning to the end. The pitch was bad and the team was unlucky. And also Chateauroux stopped the bus carefully in some parts of the game. Actually i was at O2.5 and was happy after 7th mins goal. But this is football and i can easily say if the first goal comes in 10 mins (especially from the visitor team or not favourite one), then the game has a strong possibility to finish like that (as other example like Reims). That's really frustrating. Because of the frustrating results (another example like 2 goals in 3 mins stupid game of Le Havre) from yesterday on I've omitted French League 2 for some time. As a brief prediction for Troyes – Valenciennes game, i'm expecting a draw like 1-1. That's because the home form of Troyes and the away form of Valenciennes not seem perfect. Backing a home team like Troyes with this low odd can be a joke in a league like this :) Have a nice weekend :)

  5. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd After watching this game, i can easily say tonight's lucky duck team was definitely Tottenham. Besiktas played great, they showed how their rights killed by the refree in Arsenal match and had lots of chances here. But they weren't lucky enough to score. If they were then the result would be 1-4 1-5... Tottenham should thank the goalkeeper. :ok But this is football and no real rules.

  6. Re: UEFA Champions League Qualifiers > August 26th & 27th

I dont understand of this big odds on BATE. For Slovan this will be too much, they are without form and confidance. They need to score here and this is advantage for BATE. Slovan is lacking in attack, they are without good striker, former NT attacker Vittek can play only one half of match due long term injury. Only chance to goal can come from left wing Zofcak. BATE has pretty equal team in every position. They are hosting this important game in own stadium and this can be crucial too. BATE HW @1,80 bwin

  7. Re: UEFA Champions League Qualifiers > August 26th & 27th

About Celtics home fixture, I have to say that the odds on an out of form (hot/cold) Celtic are utterly disgraceful. Maribor did seem to offer way too much respect for Celtic in the first leg, and knowing Maribor, they will surely change their style and try to attack more. Celtic proved to be quite static at times, which could provide space for some fast counter on behalf of Maribor. For me, Celtic is far from the glory days, and with this manager and roster, I cant see them achieving anything notable this year. Their loss in domestic competition is not something which will add to their confidence, despite the fact it was a "mixed" starting eleven. Maribor will surely seek to score, but they are a well experienced side for their circumstances, and they tend to play well during the play-offs. They will probably start slow, trying not to condede, and Celtic does not strike me as a "dangerous" team up front, so I am quite tempted to back the following: HT DRAW @ 2.3 (bet365) for a couple of units, and I will back HT/FT - DRAW/Maribor @ 13.00 (2/10). @ Djigi I have to correct you on this, they are a team which plays 80% of their matches as an overwhelming favourite, usually breaking down tightly set defences. And they played as an underdog the first time around and by late they realised they can actually pressure this Celtic side, so thats what I expect this time around. The odds in this game seem way off, and they offer great value on the away side. Maribor is more than a decent team, which could easily compete in SPL, their organisation is on a formidable level, and have been steadily developing a good system for the past 10 years, hence they are the most serious team from ex-yugo, despite Dinamos episeodes in the UCL. Their size shouldnt fool anyone, they might as well kick Celtic out of UCL this year.

  8. Re: FIFA International Friendlies > 16th - 18th November

Netherlands v Turkey As everybody knows Netherlands are the favourites. But in my opinion it’ll not be that easy. National football team’s matches are always very important for Turkish people and media (the facts). It doesn’t matter whether it’s friendly or not. (I learned this when I was in Turkey for several months for business). Turkey started the stage matches with 2 wins against Kazakhstan and Belgium but than 2 lost (Germany and Azerbaijan). In four matches I don’t think they played well because of some key players absences and Guus Hiddink’s lack of knowledge about the players. There’s no need to discuss him here. Because it’s very short time for him to learn the players and set a new team. But for this match, I checked the players (possible squad) and saw some new and young players for the first time which means he wants to create a new team. Goal Keepers: Volkan Demirel (Fenerbahce), Onur Recep Kivrak (Trabzonspor), Ufuk Ceylan (Galatasaray). Defenders: Gokhan Gonul (Fenerbahce), Sabri Sarıoglu, Servet Cetin (Galatasaray), Serdar Kesimal (Kayserispor), Ibrahim Ozturk (Bursaspor), Ersan Adem Gulum, Ismail Koybasi (Besiktas), Eren Aydin (Manisaspor). Midfielders Hamit Altintop (Bayern Munchen), Yekta Kurtulus (Kasımpasa), Engin Baytar, Selcuk Inan (Trabzonspor), Yigit Incedemir (Manisaspor), Orhan Gulle (Gaziantepspor), Nuri Sahin (B.Dortmund), Mehmet Ekici (1.FC Nurnberg), Ibrahim Akin (Buyuksehir Belediyespor). Strikers: Burak Yilmaz, Umut Bulut (Trabzonspor), Colin Kazim (Fenerbahce), Nadir Ciftci (Portsmouth). For this match I expect a tough match because the facts want at least a good football. On the other hand, new players want to show themselves to the Dutch, and try to play well. And the Dutch probably knows the pressure from the people and the media. I haven’t checked the best odds yet. But I’m thinking of Turkey +1 +1,5 @1,975 bet365
Netherlands played nothing but won 1-0 by the help of personal mistake of Turkish defender. Turkey found more goal possessions but they didnt manage... At least I got my bigger choice...:hope

  12. Re: How to beat the bookies – a value betting guide (inc. spreadsheet) Thanks for all the texts..I'm a bit confused and I need an example if anyone of you shows, Imagine a match Internationale - Barcelona odds (bet365 or any other) 1> 2,30 0> 3,00 2> 2,30 Some info Inter won last 5 matches (3 at home 2 away) scored 5, conceded 0 goals, (milito scored 4) Barca won last 5 matches ( 2 at home 3 away) scored 14, conceded 2 goals (ibrahimovic scored 3) Milito is injured Ibrahimovic is injured Inter is 2nd in Seria A Barca is 1st in La Liga The weather is ok, warm, the pitch is ok no problem and no other problems, everything is ok, fans, management etc...for both clubs now how could I find the "VALUE" now I know it may not be enough but I just want a simple example with the info above...
