Re: Tennis - Wimbledon Hmm, I'm a little suprised. Tsonga is known to be a bit mental, he doesn't have the record Djokovic has either. I mean, the man's only lost once this year! Also Tsonga offers a totally different game to Tomic, who just lollipopped the ball over the net most of the time. Worried about that H2H though. The reason I'm probably talking up Novak is because I have a rather heavy bet on him to reach the Final, placed the other day (in order to get another free bet haha) at the odds of about 2.20 I think. Not massive value but obviously he has a better chance now Feds is gone, right? Should I be plunging some in on Tsonga or just let it ride? I want to let it ride sooo badly but I could be regretting that when Tsonga is 2 sets to love up and is down to 1.15 or something...

Re: Tennis - 14-20 February
Well Petkovic winning 6 games in a row only serves to prove my point, though of course I'm not complaning :lol Still, these girls are more fragile than a faberge egg. Funny how she suddenly turned it around just after I bitched about her, maybe I should try that again next time... Good luck with Jovanovski, looks like she's doing well 2nd set...That's it, I'm done betting on WTA if Petkovic doesn't win this match. Yesterday I bet on Pavluchenkova who took the first set 6-4 and went up a break 4-2 in the second, only to lose something like TEN GAMES IN A ROW to Kleybanova and lose in 3 sets. Today, I jump on Petkovic whilst she's a break down early in the 1st and she comes back to take the first set 6-4, vindicating me right? Well no, she goes from 4-3 up in the 2nd set to losing what looks like 6 straight games to end up 3-0 down in the 3rd. And it looks like Seppi is gonna win, who I turned down in favour of Petkovic. Unbelievable. Makes me sick. -

Re: Tennis - February 7-13 Thanks for the advice...will give them both a go! I especially like Arvidsson, she looked better than +4.5 in my view yesterday. Will be tailing your other plays as well, love the Youzhny pick!
-
Re: Tennis - February 7-13 I'm also not sure how Arvidsson can be +4.5 against Kanepi? Is she really that much worse? I'm even tempted by the ML...Cornet was terrible yesterday but Arvidsson has a strong 1st serve. She's also very hot! :loon

Re: Tennis - February 7-13 Hey guys, does anyone fancy Zakopalova +3 versus Wickmayer? I know Wickmayer is the stronger player but I had heard rumours that she is somewhat unwell? Zakopalova looked good yesterday also...

Re: Cricket: Friends Provident Twenty 20 Ah okay cheers. I'd be a bit miffed if I'd bet the other way I think...

Re: Cricket: Friends Provident Twenty 20 What a ridiculous final, what a ridiculous day! Fun I admit, but I'm not sure about playing all 3 games in one day anymore...I dunno, I just think that the DL Method is a mess for a start, as at no point did I think Notts ever really deserved to be "ahead" of Somerset as such who were clearly the better team. I mean, they kept banging on about how close it would have been, but they needed 30-odd off 3 overs! Very unlikely really, and yet they were only 4 runs of the DL Target! So apparently, needed 30 runs off 3 overs puts you ahead because you've lost less wickets? Somerset deserved it all the way there. The final was hilarious, although again a bit of a mockery perhaps. Neither team deserved to lose so fair play to Hampshire, but as I said, don't really like the rule about the number of wickets lost. It favours one strategy over another I think...still, only in cricket eh? What I actually came to ask about, skybet (horrible site lol) have settled my final bet on Somerset a bit weirdly...I expected to simply lose the bet, as Hampshire technically won, but of a £17-something bet they've returned something like £12? I assume that's to do with the tie finish...?

Re: EUROBASKET U20 Any more thoughts Corinthian? ;)

Re: EUROBASKET U20 59-55 Montenegro...

Re: EUROBASKET U20 Hey man, thanks for this. Have followed both your picks today and 1-for-1 so far! Hopefully Montenegro will come through later, as they should!

Re: Tennis - 5-11 April Halep wins it...decided to get on it after a set but the odds were a bit low by then, managed to make a small profit though. Incredible stuff...of course, maybe Halep just won fair and square? :\

Re: Tennis - 1-7 February Yeah pretty awful day, checked the odds quickly this morning and thought Bolleli and Ascione especially were good value, suprised to see them both lose... And Steve Darcis just fudged up my accumulator. Crap.

Re: Africa » MTN Africa Cup of Nations (10-31 jan 2010)
Glad I went with my instinct here...this tournament is just full of goals! :okMozambigue vs Benin, the over 2.5 is 2.60 over at bet365... I took the over 2.5 in the Egypt Nigeria game at 2.40 mainly because of value...I understand that the two sides playing later aren't as talented, but that could go either way...2.5 is usually a 50-50 shot, so 2.60 looks tempting to me. -

Re: Snooker: The Masters 10-17 Jan Followed a good tip on Ronnie over 0.5 centuries, and then went with my gut at 3-2 on Ronnie and came through nicely. Cheers guys! :clap Any thoughts on Williams-Carter? Sounds like Williams is in a bit of pain...

Re: Cricket: South Africa vs England - Test Series Well done England indeed! :nana Made a lovely little earner on the Graeme Swann over 116 points...wasn't even sure if he'd managed it until now tbh!
-
Re: Tennis: 3rd - 10th January Blake comes back and wins! So nice little in play earner there, along with the advice from you guys which meant I picked Ball, Petkovic, Clijsters 2-0 and Suarez Navarro! Great stuff guys :ok
-
Re: Tennis: 3rd - 10th January Have taken James Blake at a set down, at odds of 3.50. Just a punt really, you never know what's gonna happen with him or Querrey.

Re: Cricket: South Africa vs England - Test Series Will definitely be following you on the Graeme Swann bet, thanks for the info!
