  1. Re: calculating AH-odds hi rishman, the fixed handicap or european handicap of -1 is equivalent to -1.5 of asian handicap. and the fixed handicap of +1 is equivalent to +0.5 in asian... so i guess you can use the same formula to calculate the fixed handicap odds.

  2. Re: Heavy Favourites - DNB

Thanks Ren, would this mean I get a much better price than? :unsure
maybe..if you pick the best odds from different bookie.. example, today's bayern vs borussia.. bayern home win @ 1.35 (odds4you) draw @ 5.9 (betfair) = bayern dnb @ 1.12 i see bet365 is only offering 1.07 for bayern dnb thats a difference of 0.05 !!! its not much if you are staking $10 but its $500 difference if you are staking $10000 like me..:lol
  3. Re: 1-3-2-6 & Asian Handicap +1.5 bet3 result: celtic 3-1 st mirren..bet lost following the plan of 1-3-2-6, the stake goes back to 1 after every loss. there's one match today in the danish superligue. the openning AH line was at +1.5 for Koge but now the line has gone up to +1.75. Is Koge going to get thrashed tonight ?? Let's see.. bet4: odense vs koge (danish) pick : koge AH +1.75 @ 2.12 stake:1 start bank: 100 stake : 6 return : 7.63 profit: +1.63 current bank : 101.63

  4. Re: 1-3-2-6 & Asian Handicap +1.5 hi redjo, thanks for your interest. i compare the average goal difference between the 2 teams and see if the goal difference is over or under the asian handicap line. in the liverpool's case above..i would still pick liverpool if the difference is +1. (anyway, liverpool draw 2-2 that day). That's why some suggest to add a weight to the goal difference by taking into consideration the current form etc..

  5. Re: Asian Handicap System (discussion) thanks for your comment Grex adding "weights", considering other previous stats like h2h, total shots on goals will definately give us a more realistic prediction...perhaps someone could explore further because calculating average is already hard work for me. another no brainer rule of thumb i like is "always back the underdog in cup games and important qualifying matches". last night this worked for me at the fa cup (refer: http://www.punterslounge.com/forum/f6/england-fa-cup-nov-17-18-a-93130/index2.html) so i'll have another go at it today in the world cup qualifiers.. greece +0.5 bosnia +0.25 slovenia +0.25 ireland +1.0

  6. Re: Asian Handicap System (discussion) i like to bet in the asian handicap (AH) market. i would like to share my method of AH betting. Let's take this weekend clash between liverpool vs man city. AH is set at liverpool -0.5. 1. calculate liverpool average home goal difference (goal difference/no. of home games) >>>>> +13/6 = +2.16 2. calculate man city away average goal difference (goal difference/no of away games) >>>>> +2/6 = +0.33 3. compare home team and away team average goals >>>> 2.16 - 0.33 = 1.83 Liverpool have 1.83 advantage over man city. Therefore pick LIVERPOOL AH -0.5 Good Luck.

  7. Re: 20 Minutes Betting Strategy for Running Under /Over at first i'm lost but thnx to winning_streak, i get it now.. let me share what i understand :- this strategy is applied for the first 20 minutes for in-running or live bets. example : Goal... Under/Over Odds.... Goal Time........ Strategy >>>>>>>>>0................2 ................No Goal............Under >>>>>>>>>0........... 1.5/2.............. No Goal .......... Give up >>>>>>>>>2.......... Under 4....... Before 20 minutes.... Over so, if scoreline is 0-0 at 20 minutes, and bookies offer over/under goal line at 2 therefore you should put your money on under 2 goals. high chances this is a low scoring game..probable FT scores 0-0, 1-0, 1-1 & 2-0. another instance.. at 20 minutes, 2 goals already scored..put your bet on over 4 goals...goal fest coming up.. i don't usually like live betting but i think its worth a look if you're into live betting. give it a go and tell us the result.;)
