  1. Hi All, Anyone use this as a system ? Read about this last night in that in US Racing quite often the favourites who have been backed in, go on to come in the first 2 positions. Had a little dabble last night on small $2 stakes and came very close a couple of times, but just wondered if anyone else has tried this with success ? I may continue to have a little dabble and if successful add this to my blog. Cheers Alex

  2. Re: Patrick Veitch - Enemy Number One Read it too, very good and interesting read. I did wonder how much was true in terms of figures etc, given the recent debacle with the Elliott Short NOTW report. Sounds like he is cosher though, and even lists newsreader Katy Derham as one of his phoneline operators in the early Uni days. Good read would recommend to others. I too think that 5f to 1m races are the best for making money on racing, with my theory being you can win more laying at this level on favourites.

  3. Re: ATR - Who are we? Hi, I am a 36 y/o guy from Nottingham who enjoys a flutter, and in the past have been a sporting index fan with mixed results on my general football and cricket bets ! In the last 2 years I have got into horse racing, purely from the love of attending race meetings and winning a few quid. I decided to take the wife to Market Rasen last year and we managed to clean up with 5 wins from 6 races, and a take home of well over £500, including a 40/1 winner after chasing a bookie round for 6 mings ear wigging to his info !!! Well I have tried a few systems with mixed fortune again, so have developed my own way of doing things and have created a blog to record my results. So far so good, with almost 100pts profit in a couple of weeks. Please feel free to post, comment, follow etc and I hope to make some new friends along the way with links to your blogs etc. Good luck all !! Alex
