Re: Cheltenham festival 2013 dvd Thanks Jimmy,I cant believe nobody anywhere has dvd copies of the 4 days on ebay or anywhere else, money to be made i think, thanks again jimmy.I always read the results closely mark any horses unlucky or ran on well and then watch the races to see what i think for the next years festival,:\

  4. Re: Cheltenham only 2 months away I have been going to the cheltenham festival for the last 25 yrs ,The last 10 yrs have been on a booked coach trip on the Weds,Thurs and Friday.I wish the trip was Tuesday,Weds and Thursday as i find the Friday gold cup 1 day coach trippers spoil the day.I start getting excited about November lol.I have seen some fantastic race horses Moscow Flyer 2003 and 2005,Baracouda in 2003,Best Mate ,Kauto star and many more exciting races but the one that will always stay in my mind was the 2008 Gold Cup won by Denman,i still get shivers down my back when thinking about that race.I love the stats and trends of the each race backed plenty of winners and losers,i have been to watch my home town football team in a F.A. cup and league cup final,Crickets 20/20 finals,Rugby union 6 nations England v France and last years super saturday Olympic finals and countlees other top sporting days out but nothing beats The Cheltenham Festival and now looking forward to this years pint of cold guinness in the village BRING IT ON,Thanks to every post you guys put up and the hours you all spend researching the facts and figures to make this forum all worth while.Good luck and good fortune to you all. Thanks

  7. Re: Fri 5.15 : Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Steeple Chase hi just copied this stat For all bar one of the last ten winners to fall into the tight ratings band of 129-134 is unquestionably one of the strongest official-ratings statistics of the entire season, let alone the Festival, and up popped that old rogue Pigeon Island off 129 from one of just six qualifiers on this count last season to continue that sequence. I will leave you to decide if you believe the continued success of 129-134 rated horses is a coincidence or not whilst also throwing in such minor details that they also paid out winning straight forecasts in 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008. As far as weight carried is concerned, horses carrying over 11st are 0-46 since future Champion Chase winner Edredon Bleu ran them ragged in 1998 when McCoy fired him at every fence.

As far as weight carried is concerned, horses carrying over 11st are 0-46 since future Champion Chase winner Edredon Bleu ran them ragged in 1998 when McCoy fired him at every fence.

The official race distance of the Grand Annual is 2m½f and given the ferocity of gallop at which is contest is invariably run, the maximum field and the uphill finish, our selection better not just stay every single yard of it but at least a further quarter-mile to boot, so it is not surprising that 12 of the last 14 winners had won over 2m2f+. Novices have also fared very strongly with last year’s winner being the eleventh in the last 29 runnings and being on an in-form horse also looks a must as only six of the last 40 winners did not finish in the frame last time out and two of those fell. Nicky Henderson and Paul Nicholls lead the home defence in more recent times but the Irish have plundered four of the last 11 runnings so we have to seriously consider their entries. With regards to the last six British-trained winners, all six had won at Cheltenham before and also watch out for a sneaky little run over hurdles as a final prep which is how connections of four of the last 11 winners approached this race. Henderson’s Tanks For That could be the main player for horses to limber up over timber last time out. Finally, don’t stray too far away from the leading fancies as all but six of the last 36 winners could be found starting at no bigger than 10/1.

  8. Re: Internatioanal Friendlies 8-10 February Hi Guys,There never is much value in international matches where odds of Malta v Switzerland 1-3 or 1-4 Andorra v Moldova 1-5 Luxembourg v Slovakia 1-4 Belarus v Kazakhstan 4-7 San marino v Liechtenstein both poor teams If you look at the worst international teams such as these you can always count on them not scoring so really your half way there to a correct score.Normally there are 3 or 4 such matches where you know these teams will not score. If you look at these poor team records you will find that they score maybe a couple of goals through the whole tournament, therefor i take 3 of the matches like the above teams and perm them. Malta to lose 1-0 or 2-0 Andorra to lose 1-0 or 2-0 Luxembourg to lose 1-0 or 2-0 Its 8 bets x 1pound on a correct score treble at odds about 5/1 normally pays about over 200/1. I have had this bet up a few times, just look at the poor teams goals.good luck chaps.x

  9. folkstone 4.40 penny doc Hi everyone hope everyone is looking 4ward to cheltenham.this trainer n jockey have a very good record at folkstone won 3 chasers also the form of this horse in ireland is above this lot in this race, his last run over there was at punchestown in a top hunter chase, his last run was feb 20th at haydock after a break of 294 days where he ran very well till b4 the last should also put him spot on for this race i know he is fav but to me he should be 4-6 happy hunting fellas:beer

  10. Re: World Cup Qualifiers - October 14/15 HI Everybody. :beer The bet that always interests me in these european world cup qualifiers is you cant bet on teams who are 1/100 or 1/50,but you can take a dabble at correct scores when the teams they face are ,san marino-malta.andorra these 3 teams have scored only 4 goals between them in 27 games,so your half way there when you know that one team is likely to score nil nearly every match.malta have lost away 3 times 3-0 and the other match 4-0 san marino are no better,so the bet i have won money on in the world cup qualifiers is a correct score treble taking 2 correct scores in each match for these or other weak teams to get beat example this week say ... portugal to win 3-0 or 4-0,slovenia to win 3-0 4-0,ukraine to win 2-0 or 3-0. the bet is 8 x £1 bets on a correct score treble =total £8 returns if the correct score is one of the above £216, Also you can take 3 correct scores each which is 27 bets 2-0,3-0 or 4-0 of course the scores dont all have to be the same scoreline but you look back at alot of the earlier rounds and how many of the weak teams get beat to nil ,anyway thats what i am going with this week.have fun with your bets lads mally xx :cheers
