Just a heads up guys. I was in the bookies at Lunchtime (I actually get a lunch break) I work in Edinburgh by the way. Some guy comes in and places £2000 Win on Priors Gold. Not a lot of money I know, then he procedes to go to another bookies and place the same bet. Wonder if he knows something we dont?? :loonWolv 5.20 - Lady of Burgundy - win at 17/2 bog VC This horse gave me a nice 80/1 winner in the DRC in August and I've been watching it ever since. That was a maiden race and since then it's run in handicaps. If you chuck out it's race on the 26th Sept when the saddle slipped and it coasted home in it's own time then it's shown steady improvement run by run yet it always goes off at big odds ! Finished 3rd last time at 50/1, beaten under 2 lengths, in a better race than this Much shorter odds for today - does that mean it's 'off' ?.............:hope She acts on the track, drops in class and steps up in trip. She runs like a stayer and her breeding is that off a stayer, so I'm hoping she not only gets the two miles here but will improve for it. Last time was a class 4 here over four furlongs shorter and she made good late progress to run into 3rd The hot favourite is likely to be Priors Gold who won a maiden here last time on the bit. But it was a poor race and a very slow race and it remains to be seen what he has if under a bit of pressure in the finish. I suspect he might be a bit of a bridle horse -

Runs @ 3:55 Haydock First time in a Handicap and potentially well treated. Not been seen for over 700days since being pulled up at Cheltenham. Fitness is an obvious worry, bit it wouldn't be the first time Venetia has brought one back from a lengthy absence to win. Could really be a class above these and at the prices I'm willing to take a punt. 1pt Win @ 16/1 Betfair Cheers :cheers Willster

It ran too bad to be true that day but had to lump round top weight on soft ground. Todays weight of 10st 11lb should ensure the horse stays the 3m & on ground it normally shows its best form on. At 3m+ its form on Good ground or better is 1-3-2-2-2-2-8-3. At this price looks a great EW bet. -
Re: Santa Anita (Breeders Cup Meeting) 24/10 9.55pm Like the look of this horse against the favourite, won maiden by 10lengths, stepped up to group 1 company in the Frizzette stakes and won it by 4lengths comfortably.Trainer is very bullish about Sky Diva stating the horse is a "FREAK" looked on U Tube at the races previously, horse is a closer and with the likely good pace should set up the race nicely. Has always threatened to be an absolute superstar horse and thus far hasnt quite delivered, UNTIL NOW. Everything is right for this horse today I feel and should take the spoils today. Would probably have won LTO if wasnt drawn on the wrong side, has gd draw today next to the fancied horses and I'm not giving up on this horse today. O brien team in great form as always and Johnny will boot this beast home for the WIN.11(5)

Put up a good speed figure on both outings, should be suited by the step up in trip. Finished 2nd to Himalya LTO, who finished 4th to Art Connisseur on Tuesday. Possibly needs to come on a little from that run and stable are due a winner at the meeting. :loon 2nd 3.05@ Ascot9(10)

Looks an exciting middle distance prospect, Jockey trainer combination always respected. Nobody has better middle distance horses than Stoute. Minefield of a race and these are my 2 against the field. Fullandby loves a fast pace and big fields, always runs a solid race. Something is a typical Nicholls plot horse and should go well from good draw.;) 5.00 @ Ascot19(3)

A slow improving type for trainer R Charlton. Steps up 3f from last run today, ground will suit and jockey in form, trainer already had big winner here this week. Has run well in defeat to some good sorts notably PIPEDREAMER & LANG SHINING and will go well at a price. 5.35@ Ascot8(4)

A horse I have always liked, no doubts on stamina, likes the track, going will suit and a formidable jock/trainer combo. At the prices I'm willing to take on the fav with Distinction my selection. 3.05 Ripon Cant seem to get away from this one today. Horse rattled up a few wins last year and has gone up a bit in the handicap, had a pipe opener already this year and finished down the field, should be cherry ripe today, (horse has always run better after first run 2-2-2 stats past 3 years). I know its a wide open looking Handicap with pace all over the track. hope Durcan can do the business and lead from start to finish. £10e/w @ 16/1 Betfred Any comments Guys? Cheers Willster2 (20)

4.05 Southwell J Dunlop wont have many horses rated this lowly OR43. Three runs last year at 7f & 8f, pedigree suggests middle distances to suit. Trainer does well in 3yo handicaps and is a dab hand at getting wins out of lowly handicapped beasts. In what is a poor race doesnt look to have much to beat. 2pts Win @ SP14 (3)

Trainer E J Oneil does well with 2yo horses, has had a good few winners FTO in the past and can see this beast running well today. Sire kheleyef already had a winner this season in Percolator. The likely short priced fav will be worth taking on. M.Bell did have a nice winner in ART CONNISSEUR yesterday, which will reflect in the price of his runner Bahamian babe and my selection should be a bit of value. 2pts Win @ S.P(1)

Re: AINTREE THURS 3rd April 4.55 AINTREE GROUP CAPTAIN 2pts WIN. Like the look of this beast, franchoek will go off favourite, but had a really hard race and expect the selection to win this. Had three straight wins until the race at Cheltenham but has the blinkers on today and could spark a bit of improvement. Stable have already had a winner today in Blazing Bailey. Cheers Willster

The winner ART CONNISSEUR looks a half decent prospect, albeit early in the season but may be one to follow in the coming weeks. Joe Caster looked to run really green and im sure the owners/stable will look to get their money back in the not too distant future. Cheers Willster

Just thought you might like a look at the trading for this horse in the 2.10 @ leicester. I have backed this horse myself £10 at 10/1 @ 10am this morning with betfred. Can't believe how the price has just crashed. Does someone know something. BIG MOVER!! Sorry the horse in question is JOE CASTER. Trained by James Eustace ridden by Ryan Moore. Probably the outsider of his runners but the horse was highly regarded by M.Channon and has since moved stables to the Sprint Crook! Well suited by the going,distance and field size. Just think the horse is overpriced at 20.0 on Betfair. 0.5pt E/W. Cheers Willster

For what its worth I think this beast will go close tomorrow. Trainer/Jockey won same race last year, good draw in 12 and the sire Kyllachy was a good sprinter and does produce very speedy early types.
