Re: Football pools system help? For every £ spent on the football pools only about 20p of that goes into the prize fund that used to pay the winners. So it doesn't matter what system you have it is still pretty much the worst bet you can make these days. Even the National Lottery is better. It pays out about 50p for every £ spent.
