Re: Simple CD System Bubbly Braveheart was awarded the race after a stewards

Re: Seven Golden Rules Dannkez if u have a system that is showing a good ROI why change it because you have a "no selection" day make a mark2 system but if the original aint broke why fix it all the best Larry

Re: BTP's Stat of the Day I agree bowles but the centre or stand side rail is a hell of a lot better than the much slower far rail so in an 8 horse race i dont think GC will be too inconvenienced by stall 2
-
Re: BTP's Stat of the Day Hi all think its significant but according to ATR Newcastle have moved their stalls to stand side so that should negate the stall 1 or 2 bias

Re: NH Novice Watch 2009 Hi Novice sorry for butting in i looked at your staking for this evenings racing & although Vacario won you still lost on the bet if you had dutched at the prices you showed you would have made just under 4pts profit, i expect you know this just pointing out the way i might have gone all the best Larry ooops sorry BH called you novice name of system not your name my apologies

Re: Somebody take a lady to the races If someone (not me i'm afraid) wants to take Malina to a Kempton evening race meeting , you can watch the racing & have a fun evening afterwards + they have plenty of promotions i.e 2for1 entry last week i believe it was free entry, anyway Malina have fun

Re: The Dubai World Cup thereare some Turf races at the DWC meeting, is your objection to the actual race or the meeting, as i said earlier i'm no fan of the Godolphin operation but i do like this particular meeting, what u said about ratings surel this is great meeting to spot flaws in ratings

Re: The Dubai World Cup btw BTP i much prefer this sort of thread, where people can put views forward i may not agree with peoples views but i respect their right to air them

Re: The Dubai World Cup I would say being american Gosden would love to win the KD, eachDWC winner i mentioned i believe was toprated in the international classifications, as for racing being popular i beg to differ, BBC & CH4 cutting back on their raing coverage, ATR going into administration last year, gambling may be popular but if we had all year round british football i would bet(no pun intended) it would overtake racing as the biggest betting sport i am no fan of Godolphin in my view they "steal" good horses & very rarely better them, but they are putting loads into racing, i remember the uproar in the 70's when the Maktoums 1st started buying good horses, but would say they helped rather than hindered racing. With Presvis/Marchand D'or/Doctor Dino/Asiatic Boy among others running today this isnt such a bad meeting

Re: The Dubai World Cup ps Mafaaz won a Kentucky Derby trial i believe he is taking his spot, is John Gosden not worth his salt

Re: The Dubai World Cup Hi BTP on thursday someone wrote an inane comment about evening all-weather racing, i think you defended evening racing are you saying the evening a/w fare produces better horses than Cigar/Singspiel/Dubai Millenium/Electrocutionist/Curlin to name DWC winners that i remember, are you also saying that if Charm School beats Expresso Star John Gosden is clueless just wondering i greatly respect your posts so perhaps you are in a cheeky mood. at this time when racing needs all the help it can get the oil rich sheikhs are doing their bit to put racing on the map

Re: The Lincoln/Spring Mile 28th March 2009 Hi BTP just a quick question you say Flawed Genius & Opus Maximus have a bad draw, but could a good jockey on a good horse overcome a bad draw. AP McCoy on Wichita Linesman won at Cheltenham when i honestly dont think ANY other jockey in the world could have won on him, I remember Lochsong falling out the stalls in some race or other then winning by a country mile(very hard over 6f) I agree with you Expresso Star is a well handicapped horse & could win on ground not quite to its liking, but why injure a horse that will probably end up listed or group3 class. My 2 against the field would be ES & Benandoner if ES is pulled Zaahid takes his place, anyway best of luck whatever you back all the best Larry ps if there are spelling mistakes i'm sorry because i dont read my post's thru(spelling mistakes may be the least of my worries)

Re: This is VERY DISTURBING..... i'd like to see you milk a horse stop being so sentimental some countries eat horse, some countries eat cat, some countries eat dog, large swathes of the world dont eat meat at all, just because we do or dont eat something doesnt make others who do wrong
