I disagree, I watched the Motherwell game and thought Motherwell more than matched the Gers for a good bit of the game, Motherwell also missed a late penalty to take all three points. I certainly disagree that Rangers will be trying harder to get three points away to Stuttgart than in an away domestic game....the SPL is Rangers and Celtics bread and butter, winning that is their main objective, it can be so tight in the championship that every point counts and Walter Smith knows this. I dunno how the Stuttgart - Rangers game will go though.
    Pretty spot on this..
  2. Re: Uefa Champions League 15/16 September

It's amazing how often you see a big favourite (Liverpool) struggle against a really poor side who just dig in. It doesn't suit Liverpool to make all the running. I just hope it clouds the layers' judgement next time and we get a juicy price on Liverpool away from home next time wink2.gif
It seems to be a growing trend this kind of thing. Ive found it happens alot, that Odds on favs seem to under score at home against real Underdogs. The better teams seem to score more Goals away than at home. Liverpool will probably score more goals in the away fixture against Debrecen. Its something im looking into at the moment.
  3. Re: Uefa Champions League 15/16 September

Im on Liverpool -2.5 for obvious reasons really. I hope Liverpool will come out with a high tempo looking to well and truly settle this game. The handicap is a little high, but I'll take it medium stakes.
Im not sure who Liverpool are sticking out on the Field here though..That could be the only stumbling block. Full team could be out for a stretch, and run around to get ready for the West HAm game at the weekend. Or Rafa might leave out Gerrard, Torres and a few others for this game. IF Liverpool have a full team out, then its not going to be difficult racking up 5 goals is it, and the -1, -2, -3 goals are probo all good calls.. All hinges on whos in the starting line up.

My advice is to wait until later when the odds on Arsenal have risen because of their supposed "injury crisis". Odds are already up to 1.67.
I agree. Anything around 1.50 is naff. If the odds rise abit then ill back em. If not i'll leave it or do in-running. Over2.5 isn't too bad here @1.87 ish. Could be worth considering with so many injuries.
  5. Re: Uefa Champions League 15/16 September

Posted by Wrathex to The GG... Im sorry, but you are clueless, Juventus which had a mediocre team at most, almost knocked out Chelsea in the quarters last year, Juventus also had an injured squad. Saying that they havent been in CL makes me wonder how clueless you are, 1.50 against Bordeaux is a banker, I already put 1000 euro on Juventus + Bayern to win their first games, thats how confident I am.
I wanted to spare a thought for this poor bloke yesterday.. A Minutes Silence
  6. Re: Uefa Champions League 15/16 September So who are you backing tonight GG? Standard or Arsenal? bigokay.gif I dont know yet.. haven't decided even if i will back any of em. 7. Maybe a risky bet after the good impression BATE left here last season, maybe some ageing stars won't play at all cylinders for the Greeks, still I will go with the logic - Olympiakos to win @ 2,05.
Well I did tell people yesterday that Ketsbaia the Olympiakos coach has recently left the club. AZ's first Champions league game ever. People will feel AZ are huge underdogs in this game. I deffinately wouldnt back Olympiakos here, and feel a draw is very possible. I'd be more inclined to go +0.5 AZ @ 1.80.. Az are not a bad "Underdog" to pick up a result here..
  8. Re: Uefa Champions League 15/16 September Standard have only managed 1 victory so far in the league this Season at home. THey have been playing some crappy teams so far too. Even if that will be the Arsenal line up, I think its probably good enough to be honest. If Rosicky does play, then Fabregas, DIaby and song aslo isnt a bad midfield, Wilshire benched., Bendtner and Eduardo up front is good enough in attack. Also the Defence is unchanged and is as good is it gets with Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen, Clichy..The only weakness may be the Goal keeper..

After the loss to Man Utd and MAn City they will likely want a positive result here to boost morale. They are more than capable of getting 3 points here as Standard are not as strong right now as people might think this season. They were strong last season. With injury problems right now and player sales, Standard will be come up short against a near full strength Arsenal... cant comment too much on this game as I dont know whos missing for Arsenal right at this Second, but i will give a more in depth analysis of the game tomorrow. DOnt place bets just yet, but I think Arsenal will probo win.. If Arsenal have most players available then -1 could be even worth trying..
I'v already told you the Arsenal sqaud thats travelled to Belgium in my above post on this page....I'v also mentioned who is missing....Arsenal are far from full strength.
I need to check this myself. I understand your facts may be accurate but I cant be sure.

Bougherra is the one class player in the Rangers team but David Weir is beginning to show his age and was limping significantly in the second half at Fir Park. I feel his recent spell of 2 games in a week for Scotland and Rangers will catch up with him here. The only ray of hope is if Steven Naismith or Nacho Novo which would improve their chances of scoring. However defensively they do not do well and I expect they will be on the bench again Recommendation Stuttgart (-1) AH 7/6 bet365 Good Luck
I completely 100% agree with this. Scottish sides are notoriously poor away from home anyway, so for Rangers to get anything they'd have to perform miracles.
Listen i know you dont like me very much, but personaly i would think twice about this one Stuttgart havent exactly set the league alight in Germany yet, and they have only managed to win one game so far this season. in the league that is. they managed to qualify for the league stage of the CHampions league but not in convincing style.. Rangers although may be under estimated here by most people, I wont be doing that, becasue they have good European experience especially in the Uefa cup, They are especially good at getting draws and counter attacking against good teams. THey could pull off a 0-0 here i reckon against Stuttgart.. So be careful on this one.

Yeah I know this mate, I included Eduardo in the Arsenal squad that travelled. I agree Defour and De Camergo will be a loss to the home side but I still think they can get something from the match. Would an away draw be so bad for Wenger..?? Especially with all his injuries etc....They also have a MUST WIN home game against Wigan on Saturday to think about.

Yet you still managed to win 10,000 euro with small stakes lol, you are a bullshitter mate. What are your tips for the arsenal match 2moro, could go either way or be a draw? laugh4.gif
Let me see tomorrow on this. Its too Early to call at the moment. I need to know whos fit for Arsenal. Cos i know Arsenal have problems with Team selection at the moment.. Thats very important in this match. BUt to tell you the truth, I fancy Arsenal here if they have the players available. They did Celtic away, so they can deffo do Standard, as Defour is out for Standard also.

Yeah, because as I said in my first post. Most the games were between two very miss matched opponents, and because of the unknown factor I was staying clear. Fair play to you. bigokay.gif Today all the favourites apart from Atletico won. Hopefully tomorrow will be as easy smile2.gif
Okay mate.. Strange i missed all the dodgy games, like A MAdrid, Juve and Chelsea who were hanging on, and I only bet on the winners.. Money Talks, bullshit walks pal.
  16. Re: Uefa Champions League 15/16 September Go back JAse and look at my reviews on all the games. and even have alook at score predictions.. and then laugh.. All you came up with was one over on Wolfsburg. Exept Real MAdrid though. You got that one wrong.

Along with Wolfsburg over 2.5 goals, I'm also going for a tentative selection. FC Zurich V Real Madrid UNDER 2.5 goals @ 3.05. This is a tentative selection. I think the odds for under 2.5 goals here are crazy. Everyone expects there to be a goalfest and Madrid to win 17-0, but here I'm playing on the surprise factor of FC Zurich. Madrid will want the win, but this is a massive masive game for Zurich. Madrid probably will win with a 95% certainty in my eyes, but all I need is a 2-0 win for the bet to come through.
