  1. Re: 2nd April - 8th April Glad to see Venus came through though! Impossible to find a live stream anywhere! 2 picks for today: Marion Bartoli to beat Polona Hercog at 1/2 with WillHill Bartoli has a 4-0 record against Hercog, having beaten her on clay before in Madrid 2010. Just feel Bartoli has too much for Hercog here despite coming through her second round match in 3 sets. Bartoli has beaten Hercog only last week aswell after losing the first set in Miami. Nadia Petrova to beat Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova at 8/15 with WillHill Pavlyuchenkovahas not won back to back matches all year, Petrova holds a 2-0 record over Pavlyuchenkova and saved 2 match points in her match with Craybas before coming back to take the third set so should be going in with high confidence.:hope

  2. Re: 2nd April - 8th April Does anyone know how Venus Williams is looking against Jankovic? Is she showing signs of fatigue early on like she did against Radwanska in Miami? I know rain has stopped play currently but was wondering what the early exchanges were like? Also, what are peoples thoughts on the match? Cheers

  3. Re: Africa » MTN Africa Cup of Nations (10-31 jan 2010) Angola - 1, 9/5 PaddyPower Scored 4 goals against Mali so plenty of goals in this team. Just defending under pressure was the problem. I think they will see this as a must win game, and they should be fired up for this in front of the home crowd. Hopefully the defence will have learnt from their mistakes in being so casual even at 4 - 0.

  4. Re: Snooker: The Masters 10-17 Jan

Ronnie O'Sullivan v Peter Ebdon Peter Ebdon + 3.5 frames 4/6 Ronnie is not in the greatest form at the moment. Although his break building and safety game is good, his long potting isn't there. From his post match interview, I don't get the feeling he cares too much about winning or losing at the moment. Also, I got his autograph when I went to the Masters on Tuesday, I said to him "Superb Ron, you're going all the way", and he said "all the way out!". Perhaps shows that he realises he is not in the greatest form. Although I still think he will win today, I fancy Ebdon to get at least 3 frames.

  5. Re: Snooker: The Masters 10-17 Jan Mark Williams v Shaun Murphy Total century breaks, over 0.5, 1/2 PaddyPower I think this is very likely. 1 for Murphy and 1 for Williams so far in this tournament. I attended the first session of Carter V Williams and Williams breakbuilding was fantastic. He hit his century and also got a 98 or 99. Two players in good form and I am backing at least one of them to make a century here. Ronnie O'Sullivan v Peter Ebdon Peter Ebdon + 3.5 frames 4/6 Ronnie is not in the greatest form at the moment. Not sure how we managed that with 'On Fire':lol. At 2-3, he looked nailed to lose the next but found something from somewhere and, after that, it was pretty much plain sailing. Today is what Other Sports betting is all about. Super stuff with a 100% record, all 12 bets winning:eek. Well done to Kev, Spooner, Cramer, StuSimmy & nickcook:clap
At 5 - 3 up he was very lucky with Mark King potting a great blue and then going in off! But we'll take it. Also congrats to all, lets hope we can do it again tomorrow.
  7. Re: Snooker: The Masters 10-17 Jan

Stephen Maguire -2.5 frames to beat Mark King' date= 2.1 PaddyPower Mark King played poorly tonight. Although not too bad in the safety department, there were far too many simple shots missed when the balls were in great positions. His long potting was also wayward. If he was playing anyone else but Jimmy White tonight, he would have been in big trouble. Tomorrow he will come up against Stephen Maguire, and I can't see Maguire giving King many second chances like he had tonight. Maguire's safety play will be much better. Maguire will fancy himself in this tournament, with the winner of this tie going on to play the winner of Ryan Day and Joe Perry. He will be thinking semi-finals minimum. Can see Maguire winning this no worse than 6 - 3. Shaun Murphy v Stephen Hendry, Over 0.5 centuries, 1.5 PaddyPower Both players are great break builders. At the UK championship there was 6 centuries between both players and both didn't make it past the last 16. Although this tournament is shorter format in terms of frames, I think we will see at least 1 century here.
:beer:beer:beer:beer A good start to the tournament which means I have ended the day up despite some horrific results in the football. Hope I can continue this into tomorrow. Two picks for me.. Ronnie O'Sullivan v Neil Robertson, O'Sullivan over 0.5 centuries, 4/6 Two great players tomorrow and I think we will see scoring similar to that of what Hendry and Murphy produced today (3 centuries at least in that game). I'm sure it will be a tight game which means we will get close to 11 frames completed. I'm backing Ronnie to score at least one century here. Also there will be a good crowd in tomorrow, I know this as I have tickets! Think Ronnie will be out to entertain us definately in a tournament he won last year. Ali Carter -1.5 frames v Mark Williams, 11/10 Ali performed well at the recent UK Championship and was unlucky to lose out 9 - 8 to Ding in the quater finals. I think he will fancy himself against Mark Williams who didn't look completely fluent in his play today. I think Mark will get a couple of frames but expecting Ali to come through at no worse than 6 - 4. :hope:hope Fingers crossed and hoping for a Ronnie maximum tomorrow when I'm there

  9. Re: Hockey 101

Austria EBEL Red Bull Slazburg - EC VSV This should be a very interesting match as Slazburg are on fire right now and VSV are in a very terrible form. This is a top bet and I'm going to play it hard. I expect a 5-2 or even 6-2 score here. Red Bull Slazburg to win (7/10) 1.6 @ Ladbrokes (Odds going down)
Thanks for this mate. Top tipping! Keep it up :cheers
  10. Re: International Friendlies ( 10-11 Feb,´09 )

Well done! I can't imagine the odds were particularly seductive on Portugal' date=' especially after Finland's recent drubbing in Japan. Interesting though, I did tip Finland to win with +1.25 on my website, which they did. Just wish I put something on it now! Ireland did well to fight back though - Georgia are a tough outfit. Still, a win is a win, so well done! :nana[/quote'] :nana:nana:nana Love it! A small win but as you say, a wins a win. Just seen the highlights of the Ireland game, what a dreadful penalty decision from the referee :lol
