Re: Tennis - 16-22 August [6/10] Roddick - Djokovic, Djokovic to win @ 1.57 (pinnacle) 1st of all i want to mention this 'pick of day' is against my soul, being a Roddick fan is quite difficult for me playing this but i'm in. Roddick passed by Soderling last night but that performance does not impress me in a special way, Soda being out of form in my opinion. Roddick had some problems with a mononucleosis and i don't think he is 100% fit and prepared to play constant 2 high-level matches in 19 hours. For Djokovic there is some history in this tournament, losing last 2 finals here but i think he is prepared to crack the series and the h2h history where Andy won last 3 matches between these 2 guys. He showed good display against Nalbandian, winning in straight sets gaining self-conficence. I think Djokovic has many weapons against Roddick than vice versa, on long rallies and net points Djokovic is far better than Roddick and except his trademark service Andy can't surprise Nole with anything. :hope

2nd day of strong money from Gasquet :clap[7/10] Fish - Gasquet' date= over 9.5 games 1st set @ 1.61 (bet365) After a winning pick yesterday on Gasquet ML, this is the 'pick of day' for me. Fish played two matches on Cincy both won in 2 sets agains Simon and Verdasco. In 1st set were tiebreaks on every match and i see de posibility of going for a quite decent over here too, both players having difficulties breaking services an strong percentages on service. Gasquet passed easily by Berrer and i rate him with chances in this math. Fish is on fire with 9W-1L on last 10 matches and is the fav here despite of h2h history where Gasquet leads with 2-0, but only 1 match was on hard/indoor @ Mutua Madrileña Masters 2008 where on the 1st set was a tiebreak. It will not be a walk in the park for home guy, Richard showing concistency and 3 sets from bet365 at 2.25 is also a possibility. :hope -

Berrer passed by Robredo monday with a hard fight on 3 sets, but that performance does not convince me, the spaniard being a shadow last months. On the other side Gasquet show nice tennis beating Youzhny with 2-1, coming back in the match after losing 1st set. In the second set, the Frenchman, ranked 41 in the world, raised his first serve percentage from 50% to 66% and the improved statistics help him to break on 2nd set and to win clearly the 3rd. H2H is 1-0 for Gasquet (6-2/2-6/7-6), the only match between these 2 guys was at Open de Mossel in Metz on hard/indoor in 2009. :hope -

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he went on to get beat, the overs would be better in this match. Good luck though.[/quote'] Agree with you about Gasquet's inconsistency but i just can't see the fatty-germ beating a high-confidence french, as Atko mentioned, i like his under too and i see a proper price for u22.5 games @ 2.03 i think it's pure gold. Only a solid serve (80% on 1st serve against Robredo) can save Berrer and lead him to a tiebreak, on rallies he is a dead-guy and breaking Gasquet after seeing yesterdays performance of Richard whould a difficult task for him. :hope -

Re: Tennis - 16-22 August [6/10] P.H. Mathieu - Hanescu, over 9.5 games on 1st set @ 1.62 (expekt) Interesting match between these two players with quite similar atributes based on strong service. H2H is 1-0 for Mathieu on hard @ AO 2008 (6-1/7-6/6-2), but that result is history, in these two years Victor climb and consolidate a position on first 40 players despite Paul Henry who was 12 in 2008, now is on downtrend on 95 position. Both players have problems breaking services, 2 from last 3 matches played by Hanescu on Toronto were over on 1st set 6-4 vs Polansky and 6-4 vs Raonic and i predict disputed set with max 1 break. :hope

I check this tennis sections for some months but not making any posts yet till today when i decide to crack the silence. Keothavong - Arvidsson, Arvidsson to win @ 1.71 via Pinnacle (5/10) My pick for today is based especially on h2h history where Sofia leads with 5-3. I think Sofia is superior and the indoor surface fits very well for his style and the last 3 indoor victories from Memphis (this year), St. Pauli ITF (2007) and Quebec (2005) proove his superiority. good luck everyone :hope
