  1. Re: Swansea v Everton > 24 March Everton fan here. Unfortunately, I have to agree. Massive game for us Tuesday night and so I can see a few being rested, I doubt as many as 6 like against Liverpool, but a few changes here and there. Its not too bad when you are bringing in Jagielka as a replacement, but if Anichebe comes in then we don't have the attacking threat that would scare Swansea. Im definitely not betting on the game, and I'd be vary of the 1-1 scoreline. Two top defensive teams and brilliant keepers. Good luck all and COYB!

  2. Re: Tennis - Wimbledon First post for aaaages! Just logged on to bet365 this morning to see if there was anything that interested me. Came across the Baghdatis vs Djokovic game today. As we all know Djokovic has been flying this year, his run of consecutive wins halted at the French. Baghdatis i would class as a grafter, and if he has any chance in this match, he will have to grind it out and make a fast start. If he loses the first set, its game over. I expect Djokovic to win, however i see value in Baghdatis winning the first set @ 6.50 He knows if he is going to cause an upset, he has to win the first. So im hoping Novak is a little slow out the blocks and Marcos takes the game to him from the off. Good luck all :ok

  3. Re: Goodwood Monday 31st May

3.10 I tend to follow Ryan Moore at Goodwood as he rides the track well and is often on a decent ride for an outside stable. However, Michael Stoute has CLASS IS CLASS in this race and notably drops back in trip. Today we finally get a big price about the horse as it steps up to listed company and races against horses with superior ratings. I do think the horse could have hit a higher rating now had it ran over a shorter trip than the 12f recently tackled. 20/1 Bet365 Moore also has decent mounts for hannon on DR GREEN (3.45 7/4)and CYFLYMDER (4.20 18/1) and i will be looking at doubles and trebles today In the last 2 races, he rides MOON LIGHTNING (4.55 4/1) for Tompkins and SEVENTH CAVALRY (5.30 6/1) for Alan King - back up to 12f should help. So sticking with Ryan Moore today to come up with some decent priced efforts, i avoided his 1st mount Rocker as it is up 4lb higher than best win and is a bit of a monkey sometimes so cant be trusted for me. On the other 5, i will take the 10 doubles as win bets, followed by 10 EW trebles, 5 EW 4 folds and an EW accy 10 x 0.5pts win doubles = 5pts 10 x 0.20pts EW trebles = 4pts 5 x 0.10pts EW 4 folds = 1pt 1 x 0.25pt EW accy = 0.5pts
Superb Bowles!! Thanks for your views, i followed, Moore steered the horse home beautifully! Great pick! :clap
  4. Re: Rugby League..Super League Round 21 and Co Op Championships Leeds vs Hull KR I know not a lot about rugby league i admit but one bet interested me in this tie. Going on stats alone in the last couple of matches, the Over 42.5 points offered on bet365 looks very interesting... Hull KR - 28-36, 32-18, 10-40 Leeds - 33-20, 48-14, 20-12 Ok the 20-12 doesnt back this up but they were playing a poor Hull side that day. Over 42.5 points @ 2.00 looks very good to me!

  5. Re: Australian Open 18th Jan - 1st Feb

HRBATY @ 1.76 Betfair. Hrbaty was playing some great stuff in the Hopman Cup against quality opposition, he tanked in Auckland then comfortably came through qualifying here. He's got class, a great record in this tournament and should handle the heat well. Isner's slam record is poor, after 3rd round US Open 2007 he lost 1st round in all 4 last year, including a battering in Aus by Santoro. SANTORO @ 4.05 Pinnacle. Not sure Ferrero deserves to be this much of a fav. Santoro can still do some damage, and has a decent record here. He was hammered by Nadal in his only match of the year but I don't think that has too much bearing on this game. Ferrero was reasonable against Kohlschreiber last week but still don't think he's solid enough these days to be this short. GARCIA LOPEZ @ 2.25 Stan James. Nice price on GGL here I feel, nothing between these guys. Garcia Lopez has reached at least the 2nd round for the past 4 years here, whereas Calleri mixes 1st and 2nd round losses. Garcia Lopez hasn't played any warm up tournaments which is a bit of a concern but I'm willing to overlook it. Calleri lost 1st round the past 2 weeks and also lost him last 4 matches of last year. PIRONKOVA @ 1.645 Pinnacle. Pironkova is improving on hard courts, has got some decent wins already this year and should be too solid here. Sprem had massive potential but never fulfilled it and nowadays just seems like an unforced error machine. She came through qualifying but didn't really beat anyone of note and I can't see her winning this. KEOTHAVANG @ 2.75 Paddy Power. This is definately a winnable match for Anne. She's started the year in very good form and has a great chance at a big scalp here. Chakvetadze finished last year poorly and started this year with an awful loss to Suarez Navarro who was then readily beaten by Keothavong. Gulf in class here, but Chak's head doesn't seem right and that gives Anne a big chance. Looks like missed the early value as 3.00 was readily available yesterday. I'll look into some 3-0's later.
Can't believe no one has congradulated you on some superb picks!! Top class stuff this mate - especially the shout on Santoro :ok Very well done, i look forward to reading more of your tips. Double tonight with Hewitt and Istomin for me.
  6. Re: UEFA Cup - Thursday 6th October 2008 On bet365: The price for Man City is 1.44, and i just went on 'In-play' and the price is 1.50 so if anyone is confident on City (like me) fill your boots! Unless of course u can find a better price anywhere else - i just use bet365 at the moment! City/Valencia/AC Milan/Ajax/Spurs 5 fold for me @ 4.5ish. :ok

  7. Re: Top Scorer

Today's Bettingzone Market News: 1430: bet365 have cut David Villa from 4/9 to 1/4 to land the Euro 2008 Golden Boot, despite him missing the final against Germany on Sunday. bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth said: "There would have been a few customers nervously holding their double-figure ante-post vouchers when David Villa hobbled off against Russia. "His absence means there could be a number of punters hiding behind the sofa when Lukas Podolski takes aim on Sunday!"
Yup im one of those nervous punters hoping that things stay as they are in the GS market! Out of interest - does anyone know what would happen if someone tied with Villa on 4 goals? I used betfair to place my bet!
  8. Re: bets for euro 2008

My bets are as follows with some left over money i had in my betfair account! David Villa Top Scorer (small reasoning in the 'Top Scorer' thread if your interested) @ 20/1 Group D to have the most goals scored @ 4.9 Russia to reach the final @ 15 Group Winner Trebles - Portugal, Germany and Spain @ 6.2 Top Scorer EW (Top 3) Pavel Pogrebnyak @ 24 Game 1 trebles - Croatia, Germany and Portugal to beat their opposition @ 5.1 GL all in your bets!
Still very much hopeful of Villa being Top scorer. Game 1 treble was successful Germanys loss to Croatia cost me the group winners Pavel was out the tournament at the start Group D lost out by a single goal i think Russia looking hot and hopefully they will produce that magic for one more game
  9. Re: Netherlands v Russia - 3rd Quarter Final

Yestersay I totally failed' date=' but can't go away from my system. Today everybody will play on Dutch, but I think Russians can take [b']all 3 points here. The odds are great, but still very risky bet. The best option would be over 2,5. No team will wait for chance, like yesterday. Hope today will be better day. :hope
Hmm, all 3 points :\ Theyll struggle to do that in a knock out match! Not betting on the match as i'm at wedding all today so won't be able to watch - some people just don't think when organising weddings!! :lol GL everyone! :ok If I were to bet it would be Robben FS 2-2 :tongue2 just for interest!
  10. Re: Time of first card market Fiesty game between the french and the italians predicted, plenty to play for and will be edgy from the start and my money goes on: Time of first card - Up To And Including 25th Minute @ 4/5 Will also bet on the early card in the other game too, Romania with something big to play for against Holland reserves, and Holland reserves looking to impress for a regular first team place. Huge line also. Time of first card - Up To And Including 29th Minute @ 10/11

  11. Re: Time of first card market

I also remember you!! I specially remember that after you won many of these bets the bookie "moved the goalposts" (using your own words here) and slashed about 5 minutes of the 1st card time but you kept winning anyway. Quick question: which bookie are you using to place this bet? You mention bet365 but I took a lok there and I was unable to find the bet. F.
Hi mate, sorry bout the delay, Been sunning myself in Newquay with no access to the internet, the first two bets were losers (second by a minute). I use bet365, the market is there. Will have a look to make sure again tomorrow. Cheers.
  12. Re: Top Scorer Took a few in play prices in the top scorer market yesterday. Angelos Charisteas @ 400/1 - Don't know what he is doing at that price without playing a game. The Greeks play tonight against Sweden with this man leading the line. Spain obviously fav's to go through and 2nd is up for grabs. Too big a price to nibble at.

  13. Re: Time of first card market Didnt have time to place a bet on the France vs Romania game, but will be on the Holland vs Italy one. Italy vs Holland is already a crucial match in temrs of who will look good for qualification and so i think we will see a full blooded encounter from the start and so i will take the under bet in this one. Italy have their fair share of, to put it nicely, grass lovers and also some really hard tackling players in Materazzi, Gattuso, De Rossi to name a few. Generous line on bet365 up to the 26th minute. Up To And Including 26th Minute @ 17/20 10pts

  14. Re: Time of first card market

Ahhh i remember this fondly' date=' GL & will be following you...[/quote'] Are you a Newcastle fan Clarky? Shame about the first bet, there certainly should have been a card for Podolski for simulation but the ref was leniant, grr, and its been a well tempered game - damnit!
  15. Hi all, I don't know if anyone remembers but i started a thread this time 2 years ago for the World cup looking into the time of first booking. It proved quite profitable at the start as referees were told to take a firm stance on fouls/play acting/simulation etc. From what i have heard for the Euros, the same sort of stance has been taken too and from watching the first 3 matches (which i used as a 'dummy run') i can certainly see that they aren't shy of showing the cards. From the 3 games we have seen 2 early bookings (both in the 4th minute) and i can see this trend appearing in many more. So from this evenings game i will bet for real, and i think its a good game to start in with the Germany vs Poland match, a sort of derby if you will! Time of first card - Up to and including 25th minute @ 10/11 5pts
