  1. Re: Group F > Oct 23 (BATE, Bayern Munich, Valencia, Lille)

Can't believe no one has jumped on Bayern Munich yet??? Bayern Munich have now gone 8 games unbeaten in the Bundesliga and are now keen to bounce back following the unexpected loss to Bate. They won 5 nil on the weekend and apparently looked unstoppable. Lille have lost both champions leagues games this year and have looked a poor side. 10 pts on Bayern to win @ 1.5
1.5 is not worthed. Bayern lost 4/5 away games in CHL and won 1/6 only. Lille has 0 points so far and everyone expects them to lose as they are in a bad form. Bundesliga and CHL are 2 different competitions, and you can see how different teams perform in their domestic league and in Champions League. Over 2.5 should be the best bet here.
  2. Re: Group F > Oct 23 (BATE, Bayern Munich, Valencia, Lille)

I take immediately Valencia here before the price goes down. It is time for BATE to get dealt with. There should not be a glimpse of underestimation by Valencia after the game with Bayern' date=' and underestimation has been very important weapon for BATE. They just have to go for the win, otherwise their passing the group will be under big question and they cannot afford not to qualify. Valencia is not convincing away in Primera, but this game is very special and BATE is weaker than most Primera teams. I think Valencia should be comfortable here and get something like a 2:0 win.[/quote'] Why is it time for BATE to be dealt with? Why does BATE's winning streak must end? It's 11 vs 11 as it was with Lille and Bayern where they were more pragmatic than their opponents. BATE rested the big guns against Slavia Mozyr and still won 2-1. Valencia lost 4/5 games away and I don't see any signs why they should win in Belarus, where it's a very hard place to play.
  3. Re: WC > European Qualifiers - October 16th don't get me wrong, we're not fighting against each other and we should help each other to fight the bookies but I just can't accept that someone posts so misleading posts about how Romania played. sure Holland's players are better individually than our players, no doubt but they are vulnerable and the turks could have left holland with at least 1 point is they were pragmatic enough but they missed their chances. gl

  4. Re: WC > European Qualifiers - October 16th

You are right mate if they won against Turkey that is because of our bad form and management side problems and with their park the bus tactic which was usable against us but for Netherlands? So if they are going use same tactic and park the bus against the Netherlands i am sure their skillful strikers will punish them. So we can not compare the last game of Romania because Turkey result could be tricky.Coz we played awful we could lose any team that day not only Romania. Just wanted to tell Netherlands has not bad players as ours plus they are good at the moment. That will shape things for that game.I believe Netherlands will be too much for them and take 3 points.
So if any of the top sides would beat Turkey it's just because you played awful, but it's not because the other team played a perfect tactical game. Typicall turkish mentality :)
  5. Re: WC > European Qualifiers - October 16th

ROmania v Netherlands 2 @1.65 Fancy the Dutch to spank a poor Romanian side. The Dutch are capable of beating all the best Teams in the world, so anything other than 3 points would be viewed as a major blow.
where did that come from? Get your facts straight before misleading people with such crap quotes. Romania is poor? We got maximum points in 3 games, everyone expected the turks to beat us easily on Sukru Saracoglu and they had 1 CLEAR opportunity to score in the first minutes and that's all. We scored on counters and we knew to keep the result that way. This is Holland's toughest game so far and they will be happy with 1 point so do we. The pressure is on their side, they had an awful european championship and want to wipe those memories. Chipciu instead of Grozav is the only change that Piturca will make on Tuesday. I expect a close game with the holland attackers to struggle to break the Romanian defense and the draw is the most likely outcome. Romania +0.5
  6. Re: Belgium > Jupiler League > 2012/13 Any important missing for Beerschot/Gent? Beerschot are doing great at home and their morale is good after 2 consecutive wins over Kortrijk and Standard. Gent won 2 weeks ago against Standard after the home team got 1 red card and in the last round they drew 2-2, with Club Brugge at home. These 2 teams seem in a good form and I'm leaning towards over 2.5. Opinions?

  7. Re: Africa » MTN Africa Cup of Nations (10-31 jan 2010) Cameroon - Zambia 3-2 You just can't call that football. Song should start another sport, nevermind about Kameni who plays at Espanyol in EUROPEAN football. What was that tackle when the defender was there? Also the side referee was a pure joke with his offside calls... Pathetic and extremly poor football played in this Cup. Hopefully Angola will win tomorrow against Algeria. 2.40 is a great price for them.

  8. Re: Africa » MTN Africa Cup of Nations (10-31 jan 2010)

Ivory Coast Vs Ghana - Ghana @ 4.20 Ivory Coast Vs Ghana - Ghana + 0.5 @ 1.85 Ivory Coast Vs Ghana - Under 2.5 goals @ 1.66 With Togo not being in the group now Ivory cannot lose or they are out and it's partly that pressure on their shoulders which makes me think Ghana have the upper hand. When i watched them play out the 0-0 i didn't see a team gelling well atall, and to be fair imo they didn't really deserve the win either. Ghana have the luxury of knowing even a defeat wouldn't knock them out, and despite having some players out of this comp, they have some decent players coming in and more importantly imo they look more of a "team". I will take what imo is the value and go with Ghana [and a saver on Ghana + 0.5) incase it ends 0-0/1-1. I'm also taking the under 2.5 goals. Ivory have shown they are incapable of scoring under pressure, and with even more so i expect this to be a close game. Hopefully 1-0 Ghana :hope
Maybe you watched another game. Watch the replay here http://rutube.ru/tracks/2812791.html?v=b324505423ec717646c02cf70920a5a4 Bakhari Kone from OM missed like 3 clear opportunities to score and Drogba & Co. played some impressive football. Ghana didn't play yet, so you don't know how they will treat their first game. This might be an advantage for Cote D'Ivoire who are 1.9 to win tonight and I will take it. Cote D'Ivoire to win @ 1.9
  9. Re: UEFA Champions League » May 05/06

Possible Line Up: Cech - Bosingwa, Terry, Alex, A Cole - Essien, Ballack, Lampard - Malouda, Anelka, Drogba Possible Line Up: Valdes - Alves, Caceres, Pique, Abidal - Toure, Xavi, Iniesta - Henry, Messi, Eto'o Now, I'm worried about Caceres who may feel the pressure playing in CHL Semis. He came from Huelva, 1.82m tall and 77kg. It has a good body build but how he will do against Drogba remains uncertain.
  10. Re: UEFA Champions League » May 05/06 Messi didn't manage to do many things against a strong Chelsea defence, and now Henry is out so Barca will suffer a bit in attack. Gudjonhsen is expected to replace him, he knows british football well playing at Chelsea, but simply I see him as a class under the other players on the field. Messi didn`t show his true skills, neither did Ronaldo in the game at Old Trafford, but he did some outstading things on Emirates stadium. I expect Messi to start using his skills and to show his true quality. Big blow for Barca is that Puyol and Marquez can't play so Drogba will move easier on the field. I expect Barca to qualify after a 1-1 draw. GL

  11. Re: UEFA Champions League ( 28-29 April ) Over 2.5 goals in MU game @ 2.20? Evra had real troubles against Lennon, and I suppose that Walcott will play on the right wing. If Tottenham managed to score 2 goals against MU, why wouldn't Arsenal manage to do the same? They got way more better attacking players that Tottenham. Guess this will be a more spectacular game from the one I watched tonight and I'm expecting Arsenal to score at least once, looking at their attacking power. Any thoughts?

  12. Re: World Cup 2010 ( 31 march - 02 april )

Ok guys, I need some advices on this bet. I got 100 euros to spend and I was thinking of a combo for Wednesday. Holland - Macedonia 1 The dutch come after an easy win over Scotland and I really don't think that Macedonia could take any points in Amsterdam. Need some infos about suspended players, if anyone knows. France - Lithuania 1 As Caveman said in his post, I fully agree with him. France should trash Lithuania at home. England - Ukraine 1 Fabio Capello's team won a friendlly game against Slovakia and now they`ll be facing a stronger side. I red that Heskey is suspended and that Capello may start with Rooney and Crouch in front. Guess England should win this. Switzerland - Moldova 1 Switzerland already won in Moldova thanks to Frei and Fernandes and I guess they should make 6 points from these 2 games. Any infos about injured/suspended players? Latvia - Luxembourg 1 Latvia simply trashed poor Luxembourg on Saturday with an easy 4-0. Considering they play at home now, the win should be a simple formality. Denmark - Albania 1 The albanians got nothing to play for anymore and I`m sure they`re going to Denmark with defensive thoughts in their mind. Denmark had an easy mission against Malta, which they`ve defeated with 3-0. Niclas Bendter is injured, from what I red? Italy - Ireland 1 The italians won against Montenegro thanks to Pirlo and Pazzini. Ireland are 2nd in the group and they are undefeated so far. I expected the odds to be similar to the France's ones, but they are 1.44 @ bet365 atm. Why is this price so high? Any thoughts about this game?
Any thoughts people? I`d be grateful
