Re: Euro 2008 Matches (Sep 8)
Where did you get these prices mate?things really hotting up in Scotlands group with 3 points now imperative if either of the top 4 teams are playing any of the bottom teams' date=' [b']Ukraine -1 @ 2.75 away to georgia is a nice price IMO - short jaunt to neighbouring country and need the points badly as they entertain italy on wednesday and last chance stuff here for Ukraine who are a very talented side. Turkey -1 @ 1.66 at malta also on my list - must win 3 points against very sub-standard opposition in a climate that wont trouble the turks. Portugal -1 @ 2.25 against Poland also catching my eye, plenty said I agree with regarding this match above, Poland dont impress me atall and big chance here for portugal to put poland on the a slide down this section, our goalkeper ( boruc ) is in outstanding form though even for Artur's standards this may be 1-way traffic and Portugal have more than enough to see them of with a rested ( prem suspended ) ronaldo awaiting. early thoughts, but final selection on friday when squads are a bit clearer. -
Re: champions league draw - final qualifyinging round Spartak Moscow are 10/11 to win the first leg with BetFred.

Re: Germany Fav Euro 2008!! Does anyone like the look of Portugal? Some great young players breaking through, especially in England! Outside bet, still agree with Holland and Germany. However, Holland have a very difficult group! :ok

Re: champions league draw - final qualifyinging round
Rangers still have a job to do next week, still would rather Rangers draw than Celtic's. :(Well thats CELTIC out , SPARTAK top of the RUSSIAN 1st div and are half way through the season there so fit as F##k , while SPL aint kicked off yet. ARSENAL + LIVERPOOL look to have pretty tough 1st leg games but you'd think they'll go through. RANGERS couldn't have bought that tie !! Should progess methinks. -
Re: champions league draw - final qualifyinging round
Worst possible draw for Celtic... We really are in no shape at all for this match. Too soon against a team who are top of the Russian league. Add to this the fact Sparak play on an artificial surface, which they will be more than used to. Celtic's away form in Europe is poor, so damage limitation in Russia, then give them the fright of their lives in Glasgow... Very difficult tie! :hopeA bit overoptimitic - CZ Belgrade certainly no pushovers (assuming they get through as they are holding just a 1-0 lead after the first leg, but they should get through). Sparta v Arsenal - well, not many can guess what these teams will look like, esp. so early in the season - Sparta have made some major changes and have spent a lot in the transfer market - Henry-less Arsenal (it was him who beat Sparta at home some time ago after he came on) with some new faces will certainly also take some time to settle. Celtic has the most difficult task, I think, as Spartak are in good shape and, as said, in the middle of the season). Whoever gets through from the Zilina v Slavia match-up will have not so difficult task, Ajax is certainlz the most playable opponent all Czech and Slovak teams have - esp. if Zilina gets though as they have got quite a few games under their belts and are doing pretty well;) -
