  1. Re: Money Management Betting System with winning rate just 50%. Koudour, isn't you system a monster called martingale in disguise? Also, splitting you “big” lost bets into three or any number is like adding plague to fire. If there is a flow in your system splitting bets only spread it and instead of one flowed sequence you will have three. Say that 2-3 times out of 10 maybe you will recover lost money this way, but 7 times you will end up with the same situation you had in the beginning but with a twist: you will have you initial “big” lost bet multiplied. By dividing your lost bets and not changing your ways you will only multiply and not limit your loses. Try to paper trade it and see what I mean. All the best !

  2. Re: Grex's OVERS; 261 bets; +12.9% yield

I usually stake 25pts on the over 2.5 & 15 pts on the over 3.5' date=' then if only the o2.5 come in a small profit results, but when both come in...happy days! I am well in profit from your selections following this strategy. Thanks Grex![/quote'] I do it 50/50 and even more in profit ;) Thanks again Grex!
  3. Re: "Sports-Betting as a Business" (105 picks +42% yield) Zbrochu I don't follow your tips(yet) but had to drop in to express my :clap:clap:clap If you don't mind me asking, obviously one can't do back-testing for your strategy so I wonder for how long did you test it before you started publishing it here and elsewhere. If you could give yields for consecutive months as you do on your Internet site it would be fantastic. Btw, weren't you one half of a tipster service called propunter.net, originally from Cracow in Poland as far as I remember? It was mainly ah soccer tips (and good ones) as well as some experiments with NHL. I wondered what had happened to it? Thanks in advance and keep up great work :ok

  4. Re: Grex's OVERS; 212 bets; +12.5% yield Grex, having some time at my disposal I tried to figure out from previous posts how the system worked in the past two seasons respectively. One technical problem I faced was that I couldn't access some pieces of info from the earlier posts because your tables there are not fully displayed anymore. It might have something to do with the change of format in the Forum in the past? So please could you help me with the following? In the 2010/11 season you had 120 selections, your yield in O2.5 was 22.5% and in O3.5 it was 41.2%. The 2011/12 season was ended with 75 selections, the yield for O2.5 dropped to about 13%, and for O3.5 to 25%. It's easy to notice that basically all the numbers almost halved from season one to season two. The overall yields are still great and to be envied by anyone. But since we don't have the same format for your tables throughout the thread would you please help me with the results for each season separately? I've got the feeling that even though the system remains all the time in profit, if you look at both seasons separately it might turn out that for example in 2011/12 O2.5 might have actually ended in a little loss (I might be wrong). If it's not too much to ask the small table with division for seasons for O2.5 and O3.5 would be great to have a clear picture. I hope it would be easily accessible from your excel sheets. The graph you posted on 21/02 was great as well :p

  6. Re: Grex's HOMES; 307 bets; +15.3% yield You shouldn't have encouraged me ;) I think I understand quite obvious rationale for the“X” staking plan but I can't quite understand why you based it on 1000 units as starting point rather than 100 as in your original staking plan. Especially since the aim of this exercise is to compare both of them. Is it just to avoid fractions? Also, again I wonder whether this bias in performance towards IA on which you base you “X” staking plan (“weighting” the stakes in favour of IA) is a long or short-term pattern. If – but only if - it's the former one maybe it would be simpler and more profitable just to get rid of EP altogether? If it's the latter one I understand it should stay for diversification of both risk and profit.

  8. Re: Grex's HOMES; 307 bets; +15.3% yield There are so many people coming and asking you questions now (myself included) that I really hesitate to throw another one but I thought that given your previous research possibly you might find an answer to this one easily. If it's not the case just ignore me. The question I have in mind regards theoretical results for both leagues respectively (exactly as you presented it for actual results) for the six seasons you analysed before you started your thread. I thought then we could see how both leagues performed over 9 seasons (significant period of time) and could see if this big discrepancy between them is a deviation or a pattern, whether it's widening or narrowing and so on... Again, I ask this question in hope it's easy to answer. If it's too much hassle please ignore it :)

  10. Re: Grex's OVERS; 208 bets; +12.6% yield Bed runs are inevitable and I remember them in the past. The system always recovered so let's hope it will be the case now as well :hope However, I was wondering if the analysis you made in the other thread with the division into seasons and leagues wouldn't be beneficial here as well. It gives so much better picture on the system performance e.g. even though I saw the bias towards IA I had no idea the discrepancy between the two leagues is so huge. If it's not too much to ask I think many readers would find it most interesting :)

  12. Re: Grex's HOMES; 305 bets; +15.5% yield Grex, I was reading both your threads since you started them, I'm one of those quiet admirers :eek humbled by your amazing stuff :clap Westcoast, I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately you can count the Pinnacle likes on the fingers of one hand (if you're a carpenter ;)). In ideal world there should be a rule for the muppets who aspire to be bookies: if you've got a licence you're allowed to make money on mug punters but you can't refuse a bet if it is within the odds you offer. Nice dream... :eyes

  14. Re: UNDER 2.5 goals using previous results

I've been keeping an eye on things for the past week or 2 as the French 2nd div is well under way and is currently sitting on 58% unders which is a couple of points below the preferred 60% but still worth keeping tabs on . Greece and Cyprus still have 3/4 games to come up to the level where i'd start looking for selections .
  15. Re: MagOOs Football Magic SR 86/101 Profit +33% Magoo Grex is 100% right and he's trying to be helpful. What he's trying to say is that it's not his point of view against your point of view and you can “agree to disagree” but that there are basic rules of maths that we apply to betting and you simply can not “disagree” with them. Whether you agree or disagree doesn't affect them at all but can seriously affect you or your followers. To keep it simple, why don't you try when posting your selection to include odds at which you lay, your stake and liability. It's not a big hassle to add few numbers and you will see how your risk control and awareness of how your system works will increase. Remember that we all learn from this forum ;) Btw, nice selections so far :) Keep it up :ok
