  1. Re: Champions League 10th of March wow did higuain choke in this game or what lol, the amount of chances he missed today was ridiculous specially the one where he hit the post to an empty net :loon. wonder how many millions r.madrid are going to throw away for "superstars" in next seasons champ league......:rollin

  2. Re: confederations cup 2009 Double on: Iraq -1.5 Spain @ 4.21 Iraq knows they need as many goals to stand any chance of advancing by goal difference if South Africa lose.NZ are utter shit and for a team that recently lost to Tanzania, Thailand and Fiji really dont belong in this competition. Spain always play to win no matter the circumstances and they would want to continue their 14th consecutive winning streak and aim to beat the record which was 15 i think set by Brazil and Australia.

  3. Re: confederations cup 2009

Don't forget that Spain are already through' date=' though.[/quote'] Yea but im sure they want to continue their 14th consecutive winning streak and beat the record which was 15 i think set by Brazil and Australia. Keep in mind even their bench players could outclass the S.Africans on any given day. S.Africa will try to play the same way as Iraq did, park the bus and play out for a draw. The Spanish would of learned from those tactics from their previous game.
  4. Re: confederations cup 2009

Ive settled for a double on: US-Brazil Over 2.5 :clap Egypt-Italia Under 2.5:clap @3.25 Good Luck to all!
Congrats to Egypt on their historic win againts the Azzuri and i hope everyone made a nice profit last night. Looking forward to the Iraq-NZ game as Iraqi will need to score as many goals as possible to assure of advancing on goal difference against S.A,thats if everything goes to plan and Spain roll over S.Africa. Ill wait for the Spanish line up and see from there. I have my eyes set on Iraq -1.5 @2.15.
  5. Re: confederations cup 2009

Italy v Egypt. Toughest game of the tournement to call so far. italy @ 13/2 to come from behind is a nice bet. both teanms to score @ 5/6. both these teams have good strikers but are lacking a bit at the back so should see both sides score. again italy only ever play when they are needed to so egypt to take the lead and the italians to come from behind should be the bets to play here. as i say tough tough game to call so small stakes for me
Yea its a really tough game to call, for me it was between Egypt +1 or Under 2.5.Everyone knows how Italians play good defensive football and dont concede too many in important games specially with F.Cannavaro hopefully back in the squad. As for Egypt it all depends how hungry there on the day and will need to go and hunt for that first valuable goal to have any chance because I can see if Italy score first it would be all over as Italians will go in lock-down down mode and search for that 2nd killer goal.
  6. Re: confederations cup 2009

Egypt should be able to take the italians. Brazil should be able to take the americans. ;)
Not so sure on the Brazilians to be honest, they have a very shaky defence as we saw againts Egypt and also in the World Cup Qualifiers where both Bolivia and Columbia tied Brazil....in Brazil, and Ecuador tied them in Quito. I know USA is better than Columbia, Bolivia and Ecuador so they have a good chance againts a tired Brazilian side. Also looks like Maicon and Juan will sit out of this match, the Roman defender being most likely replaced by Benfica's Luisao.

What are people’s thoughts on tonight games? I don’t think Spain will thrash Iraq the way they did NZ as the Iraqis have showed they can park the bus and defend well against S.Africans.Iraq will defend in numbers and try not to concede too many goals and play counters most of the game.Im thinking of Under 3.5 goals @2.08 for this one.:clap As for the S.A - NZ game, it’s a must win for S.Africans in front of their passionate fans to stand any chance of advancing further so im leaning towards S.A -1 @2.00 againts very leaky NZ defence without their best defender R.Nelsen.:clap
A very good outcome last night with nice profits made.NZ were just horrible without a shot on goal i think and lucky not to lose by a bigger margin. Tonights games are gona be pretty tight with both US and Egypt needing points after there first losses.

not bad so far, just as i predicted Iraq has parked the bus with the whole team behind the ball making a solid brick wall lol :) I just hope that Spain dont turn around and score 4 goals in the second half :hope

  10. Re: World Cup 2010 ( 31 march - 02 april )

This is arguably Bosnia's most important match in its football history. After their famous win in Genk and Turkey losing to Spain they now they have a real good chance of going to their first ever world cup. By beating Belgium again in Bosnia and Turkey losing more points against Spain they will have a handy second place lead with upcoming matches against minnows Estonia&Armenia away and back at home against Tukey&Spain. The only concern in the line up is a knock to the Captain Spahic but hes very likely to play while striker Zlatan Muslimovic will be out due to injury sustained in the last game.On the other hand the Belgians will be strengthened by the return of Vincent Kompany. The last thing I’ll mention is the home-crowd advantage. For those who don’t know, Zenica’s Bilino Polje is notorious for its atmosphere. The crowd there has carried them to far more unlikely results, and I have no doubt that they’ll serve as a 12th player tomorrow night. With Edin Dzeko in his best form and the importance of this game for Bosnia, its max stake for me on Bosnia to win tomorrow. Good Luck to everyone!
    FT: 2:1 Bosnia !!!! :nana:nana:nana:nana:nana

  14. Re: CL - Wednesday 11th of March

Ain't his fault mate' date=' if he actually had a teammate that could create for him he'd be magical but when you have a tit like Stankovic as your attacking midfield you are screwed. All he wants to do is shoot rather than pass[/quote'] Yea your completely right about Stankovic, I really dont know why Mourinho didnt play Adriano instead of Stankovic from the beginning.
  15. Re: World Cup Qualifiers - Oct 15/16 Hungary,Bosnia,Greece and Turkey all look like certain wins to me.Serbia looks quite good at 2.6 against Austria that only managed a draw against Faroes Island. They'll be looking to redeem themselves at home this week but if Serbia plays the way they did against Lithuania it should be an away win for Serbia.Serbia's coach Antic has also mentioned he's going for all three points and wants to keep the positive momentum going in the team.
