  1. Re: TheRock's BF lol... FT 2-2 I expected that it will be very difficult for me to be in profit zone. But this strike rate is just becoming too costly already and I have to stop right here. Too much money and confidence lost with this system. Rather invest my time in Under/Over 2.5 which suits me much better.

  2. Re: TheRock's BF FT ----- Lyon 2-0 Grenoble My form ----- 3 - 2 - 0 ----- 11 points Next match --- 27/08/2008 --- Champions League qualification Liverpool v Standard ----- Liverpool --- 1.25 FT Liverpool 0-0 Standard AET Liverpool 1-0 Standard Terrible ... But I'm going to finish this no matter what. My form ----- 3 - 3 - 0 ----- 12 points

  3. Re: TheRock's BF FT Man Utd 1-1 Newcastle W-D-L ----- 1 - 2 - 0 ----- 5 points ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Match#5 - 20/08/2008 - International friendly Switzerland v Cyprus --- Switzerland --- 1.45

    Match #6 - 23/08/2008 - Bundesliga Hamburg v Karlsruhe --- Hamburg --- 1.46
Too many changes and injured players in the Hamburg team so I trade out of this.
  4. Re: TheRock's BF FT Arsenal 1-0 West Brom W-D-L ----- 1 - 1 - 0 ------ 4 points ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Match #3 - 17/08/2008 - Premier League Man Utd v Newcastle --- Man Utd --- 1.33

  5. Re: TheRock's BF FT Deportivo 0-0 Hajduk 0-0... Just like Man United started off the season last year. Can't you see the connection? ;) W-D-L ----- 0 - 1 - 0 ------------------------------------------------------------- Match #2 - 16/08/2008 - Premier League Arsenal v West Brom --- Arsenal --- 1.26

  6. The Rock's Best Favourite Instead of mixing all my bets into one thread I'm going to open one thread for each kind of betting now. This thread will focus on backing the favourite in football matches. Average odds will presumably be around 1.3 but can vary. I also realized that a profit target is not the ideal motivation for me. I will play a little imaginary championship against the bookmaker. If the team I bet on wins I get 3 points, with a draw 1 point (of course draw = de facto loss) and a loss 0 points just like in real football. At the end of each season (30 matches/bets) I will be... ... CHAMPION with 72 points or more ... 2nd with 69-71 points ... 3rd with 65-68 points ... 4th with 60-64 points ... 5th with 55-59 points ... ... not necessary I hope I just don't like to look at my bank all the time. Especially after I lost. :eyes I will have a look at the profits or losses at the end of each season.:beer Starting bank: 1000 units

  7. Re: The Rock says - 20% ROI (Football) Is it possible that a Betfair bet is somewhere in the nirvana between matched and settled? If I don't see the settled bet in the account statement should it still be a "matched bet" (current bets)? Because I can't find my Twente v Arsenal bet. :lol

  8. Re: The Rock says - 20% ROI (Football)

    Kemi v Atlantis --- LOST -50.00p Anorthosis v Olympiacos --- WON +16.64p Juventus v Artmedia --- Match bet --- WON +13.31p --- Score (trade out) --- LOST -18.15 Total -38.2p
Had the right idea with Juventus (clean sheet) but the bet wasn't available. Solved the problem poorly by not backing "any other result". :eyes Lost points and gained experience. :beer
  9. Re: The Rock says - 20% ROI (Football) 13.08.2008 Kemi v Atlantis --- Under 2.5 --- 1.67 --- 50p Twente v Arsenal --- Over 1.5 --- 1.34 --- 20p Juventus v Artmedia --- 1-0 --- 8.2 --- 15p Juventus v Artmedia --- 2-0 --- 6.6 --- 15p Juventus v Artmedia --- 3-0 --- 7.16 --- 15p

  10. Re: The Rock says - 20% ROI (Football) Bet #16 33 min. in - Fiorentina v Slavia Prague Under 3.5 @ 1.3 Very cautious play by Fiorentina after 1-0 What I learnt now is to trade-out immediately if my "impression" of the match changes. Now Fiorentina started to play straightforward attacking football again so I trade-out at half-time.
