  1. Re: UEFA Europa League » Dec 16

Toulouse will go 4-1-4-1' date=' as per usual: Valverde; M'Bengue, Fofana, Ebondo, Nounkeu; Didot; Sissoko, Tabanou, Braaten, Machado; Gignac.[/quote'] What do you think about this match Atko? It's clear that Tolouse don't have depth to compete in two competitions. Do you think they can give up the Europa League and concentrate on Ligue 1 where they occupy only 11th position ? I'm very tempted by Brugge, but want to hear your opinion first. :cheers
  2. Re: Finland, weekend, 17-20th of april.

First round is almost over and the only game worth betting is still to be played. MIFK made big changes during the offseason as there were 15 players out of the team and 10 in. They were the unluckiest team in the Veikkausliiga last year imo and I think they will be somewhere around the mid-table this year. They played very well in the Liigacup during the winter/spring. Inter won championship last year with very solid performance. They lost their key players (Corpache, Hooieveld and Chatto) during off-season and their team is still in moulding process. I don't think they are nearly as good as they were last year, but still a solid upper mid-table team. In this game MIFK is able to play with their best team, but Inter will be missing very important Timo Furuholm and Antonio Correira(+ several other but not as important players). I think there's a value at home win with odds 2.85 @Stan James, so it's worth a 5/10 bet. Under 2,25 goals is worth a bet too with 1,855 @ Pinnaclesports with stakes 7/10 as both teams are more defensive than offensive, and neither has very strong forwars, as Inter is missing Furuholm.
Great shout mate:ok keep those Finlandia picks coming :clap
  3. Re: UEFA Cup ( 18-19 02 2009 ) Just a little experiment for me . Will try paly all the matches on AH . Just to test my knowledge. Interesting how many will go through Valencia (+0.25) @ 1.74 I know that Valenica is in very difficult situation right now with a lot of financial problems. Dynamo is playing their best football in some years. But i do think a lack of match fitness will hurt Dynamo here as Valencia has some top class finishers Zenit (-0.25) @ 1.79 I think it will a tough match for both sides with a lot of tackles in midfield .No team will want to risk too much .I do think Zenit will get an edge in this one with all the home crowd support + i think that Stuttgart is very unstable side now and lack mental strenght Olympiakos (-0.5) @ 1.73 Olympiakos has and outsdanding home record and i'm pretty sure they will be very motivated in this one. St Etienne have some problems in Ligue 1 and i don't think UEFA cup is their top priority right now Aston Villa (-0.5) @ 2.04 This one is very difficult to predict. I think the outcome of this game will be decided by what lineup will MON field for this game and how will he get players' minds of that defeat to Everton. If MON fields his top guns i think Villa is more than capale hurting unfit CKSA Milan (+0.25) @ 1.71 Arguably Milan have lost a race for Scudetto to Inter, so they should be motivated enough now to try and win the UEFA cup . Werder have some problems at the moment ,they are under-performing , and the team is under pressure. I don't think Milan will lose this match Metalist (+0.75) @ 1.82 Metalist is a pretty good side. They play very well in defence and do create some chances. I think they will be very tough nutt to crack + Sampa don't convince me at all at the moment PSG (+0) @ 1.65 PSG is flying at the moment and are very confident plus the home crowd support should help them. I do rate Wolfsburg too and think they are top class side. But since the match is played in Paris i do give slight advantage to PSG . This is one of the toughest bets in this round for me, very difficult to predict Hamburg (+0) @ 1.43 Hamburg should take advantage of NEC's poor run of form and i think they have quality to do so. Don't think Hamburg will lose this one Galatasaray (+0.75) @ 1.75 Galatasaray have a good team this term and have a new good striker (Baros) that scores consistenly plus the final of the UEFA cup will be played in Istambul so all the players should be motivated to through, Bordeaux is very good team and i like them very much , but i don't trust them enough because of their recent slipups in Ligue 1 Deportivo (+0) @ 1.69 This is very tough to call too. Depor is very poor recently after a very promising rise in the ranks in La Liga + Lotina has a lot of injury worries. Aab will lack match fitness, but they actually did OK in Champions League group stage. However i think Depor wo't lose this game Standard (+0.25) @ 1.82 This one bet i really like. I was backing Standard right from the begining of the UEFA cup and made some profit. This side really impressed me this year ,they are playing absolutely top class football especially at home. So i think they will be up for it and will not lose to average Braga side Good luck whatever your bets are :hope Cheers :cheers

  4. Re: ATP Estoril/Valencia/Houston & WTA Charleston/Estoril 14th-20th March

Yeah, looking to go 4-0 in Houston:ok ODESNIK @ 2.26 Pinnacle. Odesnik has improved a lot in the last 12 months, and after a couple of decent wins here I'm definately willing to take him as a dog here. He's a lefty with a good serve and solid groudies, more suited to hard courts but I still think he can do a good job on clay. Quite impressed with his win over Sela who I thought might grind him down. Roitman has been awful this year, and wins over Isner and Kunitsyn aren't really convincing. He's favourite simply because he plays more on clay but Odesnik has the better form and a good game to take him down. GRANOLLERS-PUJOL @ 1.86 Betfair. Both these guys have hit the top 100 lately, Daniel after a couple of poor years outside and Pujol for the first time. You have to feel Pujol has much more potential and a chance of hitting the top 50. Age 29 Daniel has found some form in challengers and some good wins this week but I just favour Puyol in this match up. He too has shown some very good form this year and this week has destroyed Gulbis and Luczak both guys inside the top 100, compared to Daniels wins against guys outside 100. I just think he's capable of playing at a higher level and willing to side with him at this price. FISH @ 1.7 Pinnacle. Even though this is red clay, I'm willing to go for Fish at this decent price. He's been playing pretty well this week, beating Schuettler and Armando comfortably. Up against veteren Hernandez I can see his aggresive groudies being very effective and he should be able to control this match. Hernandez beat Brzezicki in a fixed match and Young who isn't muh on clay, and don't think those wins make up for his shocking form this year. H2H is 1-0 to Hernandez on clay a couple of years ago when Fish was in much worse shape. CALLERI @ 2.45 Pinnacle. Calleri has been pretty good this week, taking out Spadea and Capdeville without any problems. When he gets on a roll he can be excellent on clay and looks to be past the slump he had earlier in the year. Blake has been good too this week, no problems against Nishikori or kid Harrison. This is a big step up for both in this match and should be a battle of the big forehands. Surface has to suit Calleri, Blake has a good enough record on clay, but still have to favour Calleri on it. H2H is 2-1 to Blake and all have been tough matches. Expect this to be very serve dominated for a clay match, and just see who takes the big points.
Best of luck to ya mate :ok
