  1. Re: WPT Mag - Blue Square GUKPT Freeroll

In our case (InsidePoker) it's because we have been running them a long time and they have generated serious momentum. It's much the same as the reason the Betfair Grand Prix gets such big numbers in PokerPlayer. People get used to their being a GUKPT tournament each month and look forward to playing in it. Plus everyone wants to win a GUKPT don't they?
cheers for the reply, I just want a easy chance to get through to the GUKPT he he :rollin
  2. Re: WPT Mag - Blue Square GUKPT Freeroll How come the Blue Square freerolls get the most traffic, are ppl leaking the password or do ppl love the site. Me personal opinion is I hate all Ipoker sites (freerolls to good to miss though) but there is 588 already registered and all other freerolls in the mags do not get this much.

  3. In association with ChanPoker.com Chance of a Lifetime Are you ready to play for the chance of a lifetime?

    By PokerPlayer April 2008
Yes, you read it right. In one of the most spectacular coups in world history we’ve teamed up with Chan Poker to bring you the most incredible freeroll series ever. Running across six months and six different Hold’em disciplines, we’re looking for the six best poker players to contest the ultimate poker prize. All of the tournaments are passworded, which means they’ll only be open to PokerPlayer readers, which means that you could easily be sitting down to contest the short-handed final in six months’ time. Take this down and you’ll get a ready-made bankroll of $10,000 and personal tuition from the ten-time World Series of Poker winner Johnny Chan. You’ll meet the living legend in person for your first training session before knuckling down and using your bankroll under his supervision in your chosen discipline. This could be your Chan-ce to join the ranks of poker superstardom – don’t miss it! HOW TO ENTER If you haven’t got a Chan Poker account download the software from Chanpoker. THE RULES Chance of a Lifetime is a series of six freerolls. Win any of the freerolls and you’ll progress to the short-handed deep-stack final where you could win $10,000 and six months’ personal tuition from the poker legend Johnny Chan. PRIZES FREEROLL QUALIFIERS: $1,000 prize pool GRAND FINAL: $2,500 prize pool for the runners-up GRAND WINNER: $10,000 bankroll and six months of one-on-one training from Johnny Chan FREEROLL #6 THURSDAY 10 APRIL, 8PM No-limit Hold'em Registration starts Monday 8 April, 8pm Password: on p.71 of issue 34 of PokerPlayer magazine

  6. Re: eSport Heads Up League The 4th round of the currently running English eSport-Poker HeadsUp league, played on April fool´s day, was the shortest so far. The longest duel of this round was fought out on table 7, where mahtalj148 beat Fonzie1411 after 27 minutes of gruelling play. Fonzie1411 lagged behind right from the start and spent most of the game with just 500 chips before him. He seemed to recuperate after 25 minutes of play, before losing out in the last two hands. ill stick up for you Fonzie it was me who had 500 chips for most of the game :lol GG though :nana
