Re: Embassy world snooker
Ahhh' date=' been away in London for a week on a course, just got back first thing i do stright here to lay claim to this little beauty!! £10 @ 22/1, needless to say i'm sitting rather content! No doubt someone elese will knock in another maximum but hey thats sport![/quote'] David If you have any concerns about someone else hitting a 147 then why not lay Williams on Betfair? Currently 1.04 back and 1.07 to lay so offering to take £100 at 1.05 would see you cover yourself. And considering that dead heat rules apply then your only actually risking £2.50 pay out instead of £5. Obviously your call and its pretty unlikely that someone will hit another maximum but to guarantee yourself £100 or so either way (depending on the bookies who you placed your bet withs dead heat rules) then its not a huge outlay. -
Re: Speedway Tonight Good stuff again Pete, your bet at -6 was very easily landed. Skybet probably moved the handicap to -8 on the strength of your "wad".:lol You will be getting blacklisted by them if you continue on this sort of form.:clap

Re: Speedway Tonight Good luck Pete. Think I will give this one a miss after your comments about it being more difficult with the change in handicap.

Re: Speedway Tonight 51-41 Poole, cracking stuff again Pete. Looks like the 2 the other night were just a "blip";)

Re: Speedway Tonight Well done again Pete, gutted I missed this one.
-
Re: Speedway Tonight 48-45 Oxford. Were behind for the entire match, mostly only a point or so in the last few heats but a 5-1 in the final heat takes it for Oxford. Superb stuff again Pete:clap

Re: Speedway Tonight Down to 1.70 already with B&W Pete:)

Re: What is a system? I would regard a system as a set of rules which will allow everyone who looks at the data for the system to come up with the same bets. A good, rough, example of one I used to follow on horse racing a few years ago - refer to the Racing Post Postmark rating in races involving 2yo's. When the the horse with the best Postmark is rated 8(?) clear of anything else in the race - bet it. With that simple system rule anyone could refer to the Racing Post on a daily basis and everyone would come up with the same selection. Thats my definition of a system. Obviously there are much more complicated examples, many of which use a punters own data or ratings or whatever. However the criteria for a selection should always be the same. Just my tuppence worth:)

Re: Speedway Tonight
Lets hope your tipping is better than your jokes Pete:lolWe have to look on the Brightside! :D -
Re: Speedway Tonight Better luck tonight Pete. Least you might have TWO sides actually trying tonight:D

Re: Speedway Tonight No need to apologise Pete. Got a bit of a run for our money with those two 8-1 heats but it seems if Wolves had gave a stuff in at least half the heats then the bet would have been landed comfortably. To get that close when they what looks like they didn't give a monkeys ain't that bad.

Re: Speedway Tonight Back to the norm after the interval with a 5-1 heat for Ipswich. 48-35. This 13.5 handicap might just be big enough though.
-
Re: Speedway Tonight 34-13 after 8 heats doesn't give me much hope for this one coming in. Not to worry Pete, your reasoning was good, you can't help it if one side goes out and doesn't give a stuff.

Re: Golf - The Masters One bet for me (so far) is Couples to beat Bjorn with Expekt. Couples hasn't missed a cut in 20 years at the Masters, Bjorn has missed the cut twice in his last 4 Masters. 5pts Couples at 1.88 with Expekt.

Re: Speedway Tonight Nice bit of info there Pete and I am happy to back your judgement that this is a pretty big handicap for Ipswich to overcome. Is there anywhere that we are likely to get updated/in-running scores or will we have to wait until the match is over for the outcome?

Re: NBA Wednesday Some great write ups on here and it looks like Memphis is the side to be on tonight. I noticed they are now -1.5 at Pinnacle and -2.0 in places but for some reason Betfair have set up their betting as Memphis +1.5. Small money available at 1.76 and a bit more at 1.75.
