  1. Re: Snooker: Welsh Open I have only just seen who Ronnie has got tomorrow. Allen looks in very good form and he's won a couple of bets for me in the masters and continued that into this tournament so im going to be sticking with him for the match against Ronnie. He will get chances, its just a case of him holding his nerve where Cope failed today. The site i use doesnt have the handicap which would be a good bet, so im just going to take Allen outright at 7/4

  2. Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Ronnie looked good but he really wasnt tested. Cope had chances in every frame missing easy balls and he should of been 4-0 up. I just think Ronnie goes out there attacking and safety doesnt really concern him as i dont think he takes this tournoment very seriously. He left easy chances for cope today through just going for pots and not really caring where the white finished if he missed, it was just that cope was playing that poorly. Ronnie does look in decent form but he can be beaten in this tournament.

  3. Re: Africa » MTN Africa Cup of Nations (10-31 jan 2010) Well Youssef...i hope they prove that in the final against Ghana because i backed them before the start at 9/1. But unfortunatly nothings a cert in football. I've been very impressed with Egypt, i just hope they get it tactically right in the final. Ghana have got every man behind the ball in every match i've seen, knicked a goal and defended for there lives. Hopefully the defence will have an off day.

  4. Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Double for me on a couple of matches tomorrow. Ebdon v Hawkins- 4/7 Robertson v Liu Song (first four frames outright)- 1/2 Ebdons struggled to play at his best since moving to dubai but he looked in decent touch at the masters and with hawkins having a poor season and struggling for form, i cant see any other result here. Robertson a little more obvious. Looks in fine form and i fully expect him to make a very quick start. Liu will do well to even win a frame so in a best of the first 4 frames, i think this is nailed on

  5. Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Im looking forward to this one. Im going off form mainly for this tournoment. I'm taking Selby at 6/1 coming off a very impressive win at the masters last week, i think he will be full of confidence. Also a couple of outsiders are mark williams at 14/1, he played some very good snooker at the masters and has got a kind run in this tournoment if he can get through the first few matches. Was only just beaten by ronnie in a decider so hopefully he can hit a bit of form again. And finally ryan day being a welshman in his home tournoment. Played well in patches until he met maguire but with a good draw here and a decent run in i think he could be dangerous :hope

  6. Re: Snooker: The Masters 2 bets for me tomorrow.... Day vs Allen- Allen to win 1st frame 21/20 With allen having a lot of table time already in this tourno, i fancy him getting of to a good positive start with Day taking his time getting into the match and settling down. Which leads me into my 2nd bet.... Day to beat Allen 4/6 For me a dead cert, Allen has played poorly so far in the tourno and and was lucky Judd Trump was way below his best and it was still a tight game. Allens safety game has been dissapointing and you've got to fancy Ryan Day capitilising tomorrow. :hope

  7. Re: Snooker: Welsh Open

I wasn't going to bet on this final but the total frames market has gone mad. 10pts M.Selby vs R.O'Sullivan - Over 15 frames 6/4 Bet365 How this can be 6/4 that this final ends 9-7 or 9-8 is beyond me when under 15 is Evs but I'll take it :lol. Traditionally the Welsh Open final is a close run thing. 3 of the last 4 have been decided in the 17th frame. Ronnie O'Sullivan won two of those. Obviously past scorelines has no effect on this match but let's not forget that 2 months ago these two went all the way to a deciding 17th frame in the semis of the UK Championship. Both players played well in that match too, Selby hit no less than 6 half centuries and of course Ronnie ended it with a maximum in the final frame. Both are playing well this week too. Selby looks the business after his win at the Masters. He exudes confidence around the table while the class O'Sullivan saw of Shaun Murphy with was superb to watch. These two along with Murphy are probably the best players in the world right now and I think we'll see a terrific, really close final between two players in top form and I'll go for the overs expecting this one to be 9-7 or 9-8 either way.
Followed you on this one mate, looking good so far, both players getting chances which is exactly what we need. :hope
  8. Re: Snooker: Malta Cup Treble for me today of Day, Carter and Robertson. Day looked in decent touch yesterday, whilst Higgins was really struggle to get any kind of breaks going. Carter should breeze his match against a very poor Borg (who i think i could beat!). And finally Robertson who looked like he's finally coming back into form and could be a good bet to win this tournoment. Odds of 8/1 for that treble. :hope

  9. Re: Snooker: Malta Cup Hey guys, does anyone know where i can watch the Ryan Day match? I've put eurosport on and there showing the Higgins match :wall I've gone for a double of Lee and Day in their matches today. Simply on form from the masters really. I think Day will win his match, but im a little unsure on Lee. But we'll have to wait and see. :hope

  10. Re: African Cup of Nations - Quarter Finals (3-4 Feb 08) I've backed Ivory Coast -1 and i've backed it big! 10/11, i urge everybody to cash in on it. Guinea without there skipper due to suspension, and there best and only defender Balde is doubtful. So even if he does play he wont be 100% fully fit. Get on :hope

  11. Re: Cricket: India in Australia - 4 tests Draw all the way for me. I fancy Australia to bat through day 3 getting another big total in the process. That leaves 2 days left, with Australia only needing the draw i think the Aussies will just bat through in the last innings comfortably when India declare. Australia's line up has more than enough batters to get a draw out of this. AUSTRALIA V INDIA- DRAW 2/5

  12. Re: African Cup of Nations - 24th - 26th Jan Change of mind. Having seen some of the worst refs ever so far in this tourno i fancy there to be over 4.5 cards in the Nigeria match at 5/6. Big crunch game for both teams, all physical players with refs throwing cards around left, right and centre. Surely its a cert. :hope
