The greeks and especially Panathinaikos, are playing much better when facing bigger teams. Now that people expect them to beat Standard, my feeling is that tonight won't be an easy game for Panathinaikos.

    i am sorry guys some terrible situation in athens as i read...chaos, anarchy and total catastrophy..a real city war...unbeleivable :eyes that chanhges completely my original betting idea, i am not a mad to bet under such circumstances... i really wonder who cares about soccer there? none i guess, the city is under occupation by barbarian groups, they destroy everything, and police just watch them! is horrible as i heard, anorthosis fans are scared and terrosisted, there is a probability of massive war between anarchists and police just outside the stadium, well, to sum up, i m not a mad to bet on such event no bet evening this one, personally i will not even to watch any game or result tonight, i have better thing to do for sure :tongue2 cheers :dude
    with nothing but good intentions mate, show some respect!!! A 16 year old was shot and killed in cold blood by a cop. Of course you'll get chaos after that!! actions like this provoke the common feeling. people are frustrated and this murder triggered thousands of people to get off their couches and go on the streets. Violence only brings violence...

    My bets for today in the UEFA Cup: Marseille-Zenit P. Marseille is indeed in good form as of late with a 7-2-1 record overall in their last 10 games and are usually a hard team to beat at home. But I think Zenit is being underrated here. They have a team which is hard to beat and that they just kicked Villarreal (a very good Spanish side, better than Marseille IMO) out of the UEFA Cup last month. My pick: away +1 AH (Asian Handicap); JC
    I agree that Zenit is a hard to beat team, but I disagree about Villarreal beeing a better side than Marseille at the moment. Villarreal started the season with very strong performances, but the last couple of months they're not playing so well. On the other hand Marseille started the season quietly but as time goes by, they're playing better and better. They know that the game in Russia will be difficult enough (Zenit is playing in artificial grass which is tricky for teams that they're not used to it), and imo they'll give their best performance in order to have the upper hand for the qualification. As I said in my previous post, I'm pretty confident for Marseille tonight and -1AH is my big bet for the night. Other picks, if any, will follow later on.

    Re: UEFA Cup - 6 March Marseille - Zenit My pick: Marseille -1AH @2.10 (bet365) Marseille seems to be on fire the last weeks and especially they're able to win anyone right now. The fact that they play the first game at the Velodrome is an important reason for me to take this bet. I believe that they'll try to achieve a comfortable win with a good margin, because they now that the away game will not be easy. Zenit has some missing players mainly because of the cards, and I believe that the first thing on their mind will be to keep a clean sheet. That won't be easy at all against Marseille, and if we're lucky enough to have an early goal, then I believe that a 2-0, 3-0 outcome is very possible.

    How about this..Hungary to beat Greece @3.15?? Greece are already group winners and will surely rest key players. Hungary are strong at home and need a win to boost their rankings ahead of the WC Qualifying draw..a win could take them upto 4th..whereas they currently languish in 6th. Need to investigate team news..and weather conditions..but surely the Hungarians will relish the snow more than the Greeks??
    Greece may already be group winners, but they are still motivated to win this game. The motive regards the draw for the qualification games for the next World Cup. If Greece wins the tonight game, they will be in the first group of teams at the draw for the world cup. This means that they will be able to avoid "big" teams, so maybe for Greece easier qualification games. The press and everybody here in Greece is thinking of tonight's game as a must win. I can't say if they'll win or not, but I can say for sure that they're travelling targeting on all three points.

Bayern has lost me some bets the last weeks, and right now I'm very pissed of at Bayern. I will not touch them for a long time!!!! I really don't understand them....................

    a warning to those betting on norway against bosnia herzegovina. i think it's going to be draw and 2-2 infact. i hope i'm wrong but all indications show that this may be final result.
    Satjtion, you're saying something about indications that show the correct score 2-2. Would you like to share with the rest of us which are those indications???

    Kazakhstan - Portugal My Pick: Under 3 AH @1.925 (bet365) I believe this is gonna be a close game. Portugal up till now has not shown any ability to score a lot of goals. Kazakhstan will put up a fight and I see Portugal winning without a big score. I'm also thinking in covering the under 3 with two correct scores 1-2, 0-3. I was also thinking Kazakhstan +2 AH @1.875
    Everything went not great but ok! I got my money back from the under 3 bet, plus a little profit from the correct score 1-2.:):) And now i'm thinking about the games that start later and try to find a good bet. If i'm confident enough for something, i'll post it soon!
