Re: UEFA Cup (Nov 2) Lay Livorno the easiest profit of the night. Livorno like many Italian sides are non-triers in UEFA cup. Partizan far more pedigree than the unheard of Livorno. Ajax and Spurs win double to complete a profitable night.

Re: CL matches Tue 26/09 I like Lyon, CSKA, AEK and Milan to win tonight. I can't believe LYON are odds against. Home advantage will not help Steaua. Lyon are regular winners away from home and are a fantastic side, in fantastic form. In fact, this looks a complete mis-match to me. Steaua are not Champions League class. Lyon will win, in any fashion they like. CSKA Moscow are the only decent Russian side and have impressed me every time I see them. Very smart team with home advantage against Hamburg - a side in crisis. Just heard that Hamburg also have major injury problems, including the goalkeeper. I'd still have taken CSKA anyway. Hamburg's away form is truly awful. AEK is a less confident pick but Anderlecht are so bad away from home, it's hard to see how they can win in the hotbed of Athens! I may well just lay Anderlecht and that looks a very safe investment. AC Milan slipped up in Serie A at the weekend but something tells me they saved a bit for tonight. How often do we see sides involved in the CL ties, slip up in the domestic weekend before. It's no accident. Lille are a stuffy side who defend well, but they don't score goals so if Milan take the lead, I see a typical 1-0 Milan scoreline.

Re: UEFA Cup matches - Thu 14th Sept One decent bet not to be missed tonight is AJAX. 4/6 is absolutely huge on the Dutch. (Betfair current price) They couldn't have gotten much softer opposition than the Norwegian strugglers, IK Start. Ajax were unlucky to be knocked out of the Champions League, but they'll have a good run in this competition. Superior players in every position, they should enjoy this match up with the Norwegians. Ajax are always an attacking side who win away games regularly. They'll want to finish the tie tonight. The price alone makes this a bet not to miss.

Re: World Cup ROTW + Internationals midweek Some of us have been aware of the altitude for years and have reaped the rewards to the bookies blind ignorance :-) But it's not that simple. I actually layed Bolivia agianst Argentina. Why ? Because the price was false then after everyone steamed into Bolivia. Altitude is a great leveller, but is offset by a gulf in class. Now it's time to lay Venezuela (not back Bolivia). The price on Bolivia is too short now, but the price on Venezuela isn't high enough. So the lay of Venezuela is still value. Remember they've never even got a draw in La Paz. And they have injuries, suspensions. Lay away !!!

Re: World Cup ROTW + Internationals midweek I'm only having one bet tonight. LAY Venezuela. I'm a regular layer of visiting sides to La Paz with the exception of Brazil and Argentina. The altitude is a real killer and Bolivia take full advantage. But they do draw quite a lot because they're not a good side, so always lay the opposition rather than back the Bolivians. I've layed Venezuela at 4/1, 5/1 and I'll go as high as 6/1 probably.

Re: Champions League Tuesday 21 Nov one bet tonight BENFICA at 1.62 in a different class to the Danes. A must win game at home (with very tough trip to Old Trafford to come). The Danes will try and defend for their lives but they have no quality going forward. Benfica clean sheet is another great bet if you can find it.
