  1. Re: NRL Round 24 - August 22 - 25 Blackcrow I agree with your tips tonight, Broncos 13+ and Roosters 1-12. Another stat is that the last 5 wins by the Roosters against the Sharks have been by the 1-12 margin. I'd highly suggest reviewing your Newcastle 13+ tip, Steve Simpson and Cory Paterson were ruled out of the game today. This is coming from a Newcastle fan, I don't think they can blow the Cows away without those two.

  2. Re: NRL Round 20 - July 25 - 28 Bets tonight - Broncos -7.5 As others have already stated I expect the Broncos to be fired up after a spray from their coach last week. I saw some good signs from the Broncos last week in the first half and with Hodges back I expect them to have way too much firepower for the defensively minded Sharks. Parra 13+ THE last time I bet on parra this year if they don't perform! They must put on a display against the injured Cowboys to have any hope of cracking the finals. It's that simple, they should be more desperate.

  3. Re: Nrl Round 19 Today's bets - Souths 1-12 South Sydney have been on fire in the current streak they have going, they seem to be able to cover any start that they give the opposition and run over the top of them. Sandow and Wing are in great form and I expect them to create another bunnies win. Roosters 1-12 The Roosters were embarrassing the way they let the Titans run them down last week, so I expect Freddy to fire them up for this clash. The Raiders have been playing well and have a good record at home so I expect them to keep the score respectable.

Gold Coast win by 1-12 margin After a great away win over the Roosters, the Titans will be confident that they have the momentum to lead them to victory which should be helped by the inclusion of O’Dwyer, Graham and Harrison from injury. With a big home crowd to spur them on, they should enough to pip the Panthers who went down to Newcastle at home. Both teams need to win this but the Titans seem the steadier of the two sides Newcastle win by 1-12 margin Newcastle will be buoyed by their win away to Penrith as they have another tough game against a Cronulla side that was thumped by Manly last week. Gidley has been sensational in the last few weeks and with Simpson reported to be playing then the pack gets another boost. Playing at Shark Park will hold them no fear as they won last time out and have won 2 of the last 3 clashes between the sides. Warriors win by 1-12 margin The Warriors are one point outside the top 8 and with many other teams fighting for a spot, know they can't afford to let this game slip. They have been gradually improving and will be confident of disposing a Bulldogs side, that even thoguh they upset Brisbane last week, have been poor over the previous few weeks. Look to Price to have a big gmae against his old team while reports of Sonny Bill being out will help the Warriors cause even further
I'm on the exact same bets. Pitty the Gold Coast already let us down... Go the Knights and Warriors!
  5. Re: Nrl Round 19 Unlucky Blackcrow. Congrats all on Manly and Brisbane. Never thought Brisbane was going to smash them by 20, but at half time it looked good. They completely fell apart in the second half allowing the Cows back into the match and I was worried about my 13+ let alone a bigger margin. Glad I kept away from the TABs -14.5, that was a death sentence, given you needed 16 points really to cover.

  6. Re: NRL Round 18 - July 11 - 14

Tigers have a strong record against the Storm and have some very good players in their line up. Their home ground advantage will help their cause too but in the end I believe that the Storm will have too much class. As such Storm 1-12 is IMO an absolutely outstanding bet. Storm 1-12 @ 3.05 Sportingbet
Agree, exactly the thoughts that I was going to post.
  7. Re: NRL Round 18 - July 11 - 14

Well done DT and harke. Glad you also got on the right side :nana:nana
Nice work boys! Thought Newie could have won by more if Dureau was out there earlier. But how good was Gidley, seriously!! If NSW had used him in his natural role for the entire match they would have won game 3 so easy. Gold effort by the Gold Coast, thought we were gorne at halftime, but they fought back so well! Cut at myself for not taking the 10:1 on offer for GC 1-12, which I considered before taking the safe +16.5.
  8. Re: NRL Round 18 - July 11 - 14 Tonight - Gold Coast +16.5 The Gold Coast despite losing players looked competitive last week until a couple of late tries blew the score out. I'm going to give them another chance, as I think they can keep it respectable against the Roosters. Newcastle +6.5 The Knights have done one thing all season and that is keep games close, they may not win tonight but over a converted try start is a gift IMO. Their record against Penrith and at Penrith tells us that the Knights should be up for a competitive game despite being without Buderus. IMO the game hinges on whether Brian Smith is willing to give Scott Dureau more game time. As soon as he came on against the Dragons the Knights moved into attack mode and came back into the match.

  9. Re: Nrl Round 17 I think Gasnier, Cooper and Creagh are out, but I'm not sure if they were out back when the cash started to come for the Dragons. I've gone for the Knights by 1-12. The Dragons haven't been setting the world on fire recently and have been winning a bit ugly. Looking for the ex-Dragons players in the Knights line up to have a big game. :hope

  10. Re: NRL Round 16 I've gone the following tonight - Bulldogs H/F Double If there is one thing that can occur in the NRL it's a team that has been flogged one week coming back to redeem themselves the next. The Roosters have dug to the bottom of the barrell to build a team for this week, including an old discard in Sean Rudder. Hopefully Sonny Bill can lead from the front and have the dogs going from the kickoff. Broncos +8.5 Penrith have lost some big guns in Petro, Priddis and Wesser and they were fairly horrible in giving up the game last week. In saying that it's obvious to everybody that the broncos are also missing a huge amount of players. I'm banking on the Broncos forward pack (which isn't looking that bad) keeping them in the match at least close enough to make the start count.

  11. Re: NRL Round 15 Bets for tonight - Tigers +4.5 Despite missing a bunch of forwards the Broncos are still missing a load of players, especially in the halves, I think this should keep the game close or in the Tigers favour. Dragons 1-12 Most are expecting a Dragons win and I agree, however I think the Panthers with their young guns stepping up can keep it respectable.

  12. Re: NRL Round 14 I don't know why everybody is getting on the Cowboys, I know I'm biased towards the Knights but I think they have the potential to romp NQ in this match. Have a look at the players out for the Cowboys - Matt Bowen, Justin Smith, Steve Southern, while suspended are Travis Burns and Luke O'Donnell. Whilst the Knights are only missing Ben Cross. If the Knights can't step up and win this game then they will be gone for 2008 IMO. I'm on Newcastle to win 2 units & a speculator on Newcastle to win 13+. (This post is bound to bite me in the arse...) Just put a small bet on Chris Bailey to score the first try @$21, fairly sure Brian Smith has confirmed he is starting the match and he has been scoring a bunch of tries this year.
