  1. Re: Boxing: Mayweather v Hatton - Dec 8th I have to disagree with you Ross. Team Mayweather took into consideration "Dancing with the Starts" and started training much earlier. And come to think of it, dancing would be considered some sort of training; cardio, foot-work? Either way, the story of the fight is gonna be Hatton missing big punches thus, getting tired around the 4-5th round where Mayweather will take over. Tyson & Mayweather can't be compared, although they both have a lot to say. Mayweather wins easy and extends record to 39-0.

  2. Re: Champions League Wednesday 07 Nov Fenerbahce is not a good European performer and $2 is very short-priced. Definately, Istanbul isn't an easy place to play for foreign teams however, it can be done - just have a look in the books. The draw against Moskow was a last minute strike and the win against Milan was a fluke - nothing that will make me say they have an edge over PSV. Dutch teams have a fantastic record against Fenerbahce and with the added motivation of needing to win the game I'll take PSV +0.5 @ 2.20.

  3. Re: Boxing: Mayweather v Hatton - Dec 8th

Mayweather is class, we know that, but has he got the hunger to beat Hatton, who will hunt him down wherever he dances to in the ring?
If a man brags about his 38-0 - you know he would fear losing. Mayweather has accomplished a lot in this sport and you may have the thought that he no longer has the same drive however, he has the hunger to prove to the world he is the best thus, winning this bout would be just as important as any other. Besides that, Mayweather is going to beat Hatton. Too fast, too skilled. The only way Mayweather will lose this fight is IF he decides to throw this fight in order to get a re-match which will make him plenty more money. $1000 on Mayweather @ 1.44
  4. Re: AFC Asian Cup 2007 (July 7-July 29) Korea Republic vs. Saudia Arabia KP/SA o2.5 gls @ 2.10 (TAB) Basing this bet on these teams recent performance in tournaments (WC, AC) and it's evident such scores as 1-0, 1-1 are not in abundance. Both teams will consider themselves capable of winning the tournament and that may influence the score below 2.5 but I doubt it. Long story short, the defence of both teams are easily penetrable and to get 3 goals here wouldn't be a tough ask and at 2.10 it shouldn't be missed IMO. Most likely, KP will win 2-1. If not, it will end a draw most probably at 1-1. GL, Anderson.

  5. Re: N.r.l.

Just be patient, pick your spots and take good teams like the Bulldogs when they're catching points (and written off) ... proud clubs like that usually respond when their backs are against the wall .. I'll be taking some of my own advice after flirting with Penrith tonight :$
That is actually pivotal information you got there about the dogs, to be frank with you Grip, if I had thought of I would of definately reversed my bet. If only I could see ahead of time!
  6. Re: NRL Rugby League- Round 14 (15-18 June)

****ing shattered i was on sportsbook.com.au Went to place a bet (2h) Gold Coast + 7.5 @ $1.90 I clicked accept wager @ $90 Said it was in play and betting is closed... Now gold cost just scored a try, and converted :( So that mean 6 + 7.5 = 13 points :(
Sportsbook is a joke, no kidding. Go to http://sportingbet.com.au - one of the best places to bet IMO.
  7. Re: State of Origin 2nd game.

I can only see one winner tonight and that is NSW. Their record against Qld at Telstra is superb and with the traditional closeness of this fixture I just feel that NSW is the team to be on tonight. Side bets for me include Matt King First Try @ 13.50 and Braith Anasta for MOTM @ 15.00.
Records are meant to be broken. Once again NSW are on the back foot with a lot of players under pressure ie. Kimmorley - if he doesn't produce, QLD win. I definately can't see QLD losing here tonight. The odds for NSW are universally around the $1.80 mark, you can get it a sweet 1.90 @ Sportingbet. GL All.
  8. Re: International: UEFA 2008 qualifyers, 24/03 Some food for thought in regard to Turkey vs. Norway. Don't be fooled by the 4-1 scoreline by in Athens. It could of easily finished 2-2. But nonetheless, Turkey were a class above Greece infront of fierce crowd which has re-ignited the Turks like back in 2002 WC. Turkey are definately warm favourites against Norway. Let's look into why. Turkey in Turkey are untouchable. Rarely do you see a team beating us in Istanbul, I only remember Ukraine 3-0 and that was v. unfortunate. So the worst result here is a draw. I personally guarantuee that, even though we don't have a crowd. I'll be going for a WIN but if you don't hv the balls go for a DRAW NO BET. Probably no value in it for you there but it's a safe bet.

  9. Re: International: UEFA 2008 qualifyers, 24/03 Greece vs. Turkey 25 March, 2007 5.00 am (AUS-TIME) The previous last two games should be a good indication of what could happen in this match. In the FIFA Qualifers last year - both legs finished 0-0; both games held a lot of importance for both sides who couldn't qualify for the WC. Greece & Turkey are both aiming for a first place and a win here in Athens is very crucial. I'm expecting a similiar style of play by the Greeks in Euro 2004 which would be a defensive play. Turkey have a few rookies in their line-up and i doubt they'll be able to score let alone win the game. Long story short, a highly boring defensive game which would finish in a GREECE WIN. Bets to have a look at : Greece Internationals > European Championship 2008 Qualifying Matches > Greece v Turkey > Greece v Turkey','25/03/2007 05:00:00',581809,1,'Greece',101,2.2,0,'False')'>2.20 @ Sportingbet Under 2.5 goals Internationals > European Championship 2008 Qualifying Matches > Greece v Turkey > Greece v Turkey','25/03/2007 05:00:00',581809,4,'Under',117,1.57,2.5,'False')'>1.57 @ Sportingbet

  10. Re: Rugby League: NRL Round 1 (Mar 16-Mar 19) + Season Discussion Don't bet on it. Not sure on the Gasnier injury, but if he is in, then they'll win. If not, really unpredictable and urge you to stay away. Gold Coast is a team we are not familiar with there style and play, and even though they have played in the pre-season, it's not a fair indication of how they'll play in the premiership atmosphere. My advice : let this one go.
