A poor week again. Corio were winning 2-0 at half time as well just a pity I hadn't put one of the winners from the second lot in the first bet. Re: Aussie Soccer 23rd June. Had a quick look on the Aussie forums and Frankston S are fancied to beat Nunawading and Bayswater are also heavily fancied to win at home against Gosnell. A fair few were tipping a draw beaten Mandurah and SW Phoniex so might give that one a miss.

Re: Aussie Soccer 23rd June. Early thoughts and could be interested in Waverle W away at struggling promoted side Heatherton. Diamond V seem to have recovered after their shock defeat to Stonnington and recorded back to back wins against tought opponents in Chelsea and Knox City could be worth a look this week. Would have been interested in Fitzroy after 2 wins against Frankston S 4-1 and Sandringham 4-3 but their up against Eastern Lions one of the form teams of the league. In the Western leagues and Balcatta and Mandurah in the first look the best bets to me will have to see the prices and have look on the aussie forums before placing any bets.

Re: Australian Soccer 19th June. Noticed in the paper today that Bayswater actually lost 1-0 had hoped it was a mis-print but confirmed online that they actually lost. So instead of a nice profit I made a loss of a couple of points!

Re: Australian Soccer 9th June. Not sure if they are covering it Merlin. I've just been using bet365 to place my bets as I did last season. So far been looking at Langwarrin, Doncaster, Werribee C, Sandringham, Glenroy, Sorrento & Western Knights. I agree that Endeavour should win easy but at odds of 1.2 or similar are of no interest to me as there are just too many unknowns in these leagues to bet on such low priced teams. Only have to look at last week were Diamond V lost 2-0 at home to Stonnington after a few of their players never bothered to turn up for the game and the odds on Diamond V were about 1.2.

I have went for Diamond V @ 1.50 Nunawading @ 2.37 Sorrento @ 2.75 Canning @ 1.40 Cairnlea @ 2.37 10 x 0.6pts trebles 5 x 0.6pts four-folds 1 pt five-fold Total Stake: 10 points Templestowe v Diamond V Templestowe have lost the last 4 in a row while Diamond V sit top of the league having won 4 and drew 2. Diamond V won 5-0 last week against the other promoted side Heatherton and should win here again. Fitzroy v Nunawading Fitzroy are rock bottom of the league having lost 5 out of 5. Nunawading have been inconsistent and have actually lost the last 2 games but they are heavily fancied on the forums. Wanneroo v Sorrento Last years champs Sorrento are struggling badly having lost the majority of their squad and having had a few injuries this season. They are bottom of the league having lost all 6 games but face Wanneroo who are struggling also with only 1 point. Sorrento played better last week only losing 1-0 to the league leaders and will have some injured players back for this game. They are being tipped again on the forums to win this game. Canning v Queens Park Promoted side Queens Park are struggling with 1 point from 6 games while Canning sit 3rd in the league with 4 wins and 2 draws. Again they are been heavily tipped to be too much for Queens Park and based on these factors should hopefully win. Larlor v Cairnlea Cairnlea top the league having brought in a few new faces this year while Larlor have drawn 4 of their 5 games mainly against teams in the lower half of the league. Cairnlea ran out 7-0 winners last week and should hopefully keep up their good form. Good Luck All :ok

Re: Top 8 Aussie Power Ratings Sat 26th May. A quick look around the various sites and Perth, Canning & Dianella are all heavily fancied to records wins. Diamond Valley, Nunawading & Cairnlea(last season they were called Albion Rovers) also catch my eye. Will have a closer look the morrow before deciding am not too keen on the short priced teams from these leagues and the first 3 teams all fall into that list but Merlin showed last week with 7 out of 8 homes correct at short prices what can be achieved.

Not too sure about your other picks as I tend to stick to the same divisions namely the Western Divisions and the Vic divisions with Diamond V & Endeavour leading them can't remember what divisions they are off the top of my head. Also this week fancied Stirling L & Ashfield was put off of Ashfield due to South West P's impressive home form and the fact almost everyone was tipping it for a draw on the aussie forum. Stirling Lions face Freemantle who managed a 1-1 draw with second placed Perth last week and have also drew with the top side recently so decided to swerve that one as well Of the teams I have picked Geelong are in not too bad form and face Avondale who have 6 or 7 first team players out who have apparently walked out this is based on a couple of postings on the aussie forum www.soccer-forum.net Springvale C are my fav team at the moment took them the last 2 weeks against Berwick C & Dobeton and they won both. This week the odds aren't as great as they face Nunawading who are on a poor run of form although reading on the forums they did play well last week against Frankston S but hopefully Springvale will make it 3 in a row. Cockburn are doing alright form wise in the west prem and face Swan IC who will be missing a few players info lifted from www.socceraust.com or co.uk can't remember which. They are also fancied on the forums to take all 3 points. Diamond V against Doncaster is a bit of a dodgy one but I fancy Doncaster who have won 4 and drew 1 in the last 5 although 3 of those wins have come against teams oin the bottom 3 or 4 in the league. Diamond V are a bit hit or miss at the mo they lost surprisngly to Stonnigton one of the bottom teams then won tough matches against Knox C & Chelsea and again last week they lost to South Springvale. Doncaster have a game in hand over Diamond V and are only 3 points behind the league leaders so its a big game. Just hope I dont regret picking them over Ashfield.
