Re: Formula 1 San Marino Grand Prix Alonso was the quicker driver but Schummi definately deserved the win. It was a role reversal from last year when Shummi couldn't get past Fernando even though he was loads faster.
-
Re: Formula 1 San Marino Grand Prix The Ferrari's looked awesomely fast in qualifying and I think should have the pace to last the race. 16/1 is good value for Massa to win (1/4 1,2,3) with Ladbrokes. Hope to see Schummi winning again, its been a long time!!

Re: Dog times at Horse Racing I have to agree with WFTE, 25 minute interval would be fine, after all there is no other meeting in England and thus there is no chance of a clash in race times.

Re: Formula 1 San Marino Grand Prix Imola is not the best for overtaking, but it does beat the Hungaroring. That place rarely sees a lot of overtaking but it has got slightly better in recent years. I remember Ayrton Senna in the all-conquering Mclaren been stuck behind a very average Williams driven by Thierry Boutsen in 1990 for the entire race. In terms of Imola I agree with Mr I that Schummi will be right up there and will probably be worth a pop for a podium, I wouldn't write Massa off as he drove a blinder here a couple of years ago. I will have to have a closer look at the markets but under 15.5 finishers looks a good bet with Skybet, and I may also be tempted by Ferrari to be top scoring constructer @ 100/30 with willhill.

Re: Why no racing tomorrow??
Can't even find any racecards for Portman Park or Steepledown (not for me' date=' just looking for those of you who can't do without it!-honest!)[/quote'] :lol :lol Betting shops aren't open so SIS have no reason to broadcast, thus no virtual racing either -
Re: Golf - US Masters Question Just checked bet365's result section and they have settled as follows. Couples +7.5 (Won) Mickelson +1.0 (2nd) Olazabal +3.5 (3rd) Hope this helps, but I can't understand where Tim Clark went as both he and Couples were 100/1 and should have received a similar handicap.
-
Re: Golf - US Masters Question Was the handicap based on Tiger Woods score?? Because if so, Mickelson would probably receive a shot

Re: Piccled!!!!!!! Piccled was undoubtably the best horse in the race, but as sensibleboy says it is the third time in a row (and 5th in total) that the horse has refused to leave the stalls. The only way you could possibly back it is by waiting to see if it starts and then backing it on Betfair.

Re: One Lay for Friday Hope you didn't go with it Don, Black Jack ran an awesome race and cruised home, but as the saying goes, nothing ventured, nothing gained
-
Re: Betfair bowl Cracking ride by Timmy Murphy on Celestial Gold, he had control of the race all the way through. A return to form for Pipe???

I don't know too much about it, but I have heard a little whisper for Nyrche in the 4.20. Currently 9/1 with Ladbrokes

Re: Juicy Price! Good call by the Berg, I had a little nibble @ 25's and it has just opened up at 14/1 on course :ok

Re: Golf - The Masters I've only just recovered from the trauma of last years Masters!! I backed Bjorn @ 125/1 & Di Marco @ 100/1 and thought that I had made a fortune only to see Bjorn fall apart and Di Marco beaten in a play off by the Tiger:@ :wall It is difficult to go against Mickelson following last weeks performance, but best price is now only 13/2 :sad As usual I will have a flutter on Adam Scott (40/1) and K.J Choi seems a big price @ 100/1 I also like the looks of Goosen to finish in the top 10 @ 5/6 with Stan James

Re: South Africa v Australia 3rd Test Hussey's was a quality knock, the guy is awesome. There is still a little hope for Langer, he and Brett Lee could put on a partnership!!

Re: Formula 1:Australian GP
Totally agree with that mate, I have already had a wee punt and am considering a bit more. 2/1 seems crazy to meW.Hills go 2/1 for Massa and a points finish. This is much bigger than the price offered by anyone else. Massa semmed to be going ok in qualifying until his crash meant him dropping out. He may be down the grid but he started from 21st in Malaysia to finish 5th overall. Slight concern is the Ferrari engines are on their second weekend but I think at the price its worth a go. -
Re: South Africa v Australia 3rd Test Langer has had 2 stitches behind his ear and has suffered a concussion but should be able to bat again, which is a relief but I can't see him top scoring unfortunately
-
Re: South Africa v Australia 3rd Test Langer has been taken to hospital for a scan, he took a hell of a blow and I hope he is OK. Only problem is that Matthew Hayden got out and buggered my opening partnership bet :wall
-
Re: South Africa v Australia 3rd Test The real value for me is... Highest opening partnership Australia @ 8/11 - Paddy Power & Betfred Langer and Hayden are a mega experienced, whereas De Villiers is a bit hit and miss and Dippenaar is not a test standard opener for my liking, I feel SA will miss Smith big time. Edit: Gibbs and De Villiers opening, but still great value for me

Re: Formula 1:Australian GP I agree with Mr I regarding Webber for a podium, he is in his home race and that should spur him on, the Williams has been quick so far this season and I also seem to remember Webber scoring points here in a Minardi (I think it was his first ever GP, when only 6 places scored points)

Re: The Punter's Lounge road to riches! (round 2) I've plumped for No Bet. Usually I would have said Fulham to beat Pompey as they have been great at home this season but I don't fancy it this weekend. I can't go for Liverpool as West Brom are scrapping for their lives and looked better against Tottenham

Re: GOLF:Players Championship I always back Adam Scott in big tournaments and after 2 days it was looking peachy. I went out last night and just cheked the leaderboard and saw he shot an 82:wall :wall :@ :@

Re: Cricket: 3rd Test India v England India 89-6!! I take back what I said about England
-
Re: Cricket: 3rd Test India v England Absolutely rubbish!! Why are England doing this?? They should be setting India a target to chase and then going for the kill

Re: Rugby League: Super League - Round 12 Bookmakers seem a little undecided on the Leeds game. Betdirect offer Leeds off scratch @ 4/6, whilst bet365 make them 6 point favourites.
