  1. Re: Group C > Oct 3 (Malaga, AC Milan, Anderlecht, Zenit SP) Anderlecht v Málaga (19:45 BST) Anderlecht surely look overpriced here at 3.2. Here are my thoughts. Malaga had a good win on the opening day 3-0 at home to Zenit. I think this flattered them slighty. Also it was their champions league debut at home so they were always going to be well up for it. They are going quite well in Spain but its early days.. 3rd in the table after 6 games.. but their away form is not great. 0-0 against 3rd from bottom Athletico Bilbao, beat 6th from bottom real zaragoza 1-0, failed to score away to panathinakios 0-0 in europe champ qualifying, thats only 1 goal scored in last 3 away games. They had a 4-0 win at the weekend at home against Real Betis.. but dont let the scoreline trick you.. Betis Keeper was red carded after 11 mins. Now for anderlechts form.. they havent been in the champions league groups stages since 2006/07 season so they will surely want to give the fans a well needed victory!. their home form is good this season. Unbeaten all season scoing 12 in 5 games and conceding 3. Malaga team news.. Jérémy Toulalan, Diego Buonanotte and Júlio Baptista have not travelled so the loss of Jérémy Toulalan is huge.. the holding midfielder shores up the defence so he could be a big loss. all of the above prompt me to get involved at this price. anderlecht to win @ 23/10 betvictor

  2. Re: England » Barclays Premier League » Oct 29-31

ok, is that price on Fulham for real? :eyes Personally don't see how an away side such as Fulham can be priced at under 3. But, this season has so far been pretty crazy so chances are Fulham will win 4-0.... Wigan haven't been great, but bar the Rangers game Fulham have been pretty shot shy. If I can get Wigan on a decent + 0.5 AH that would be my call of the weekend.
im in big agreement with you here. that price is crazy for a team that has yet to win away from home (P4 W0 D1 L3) and only scored 1 goal away from home.. but it gives a nice price about wigan at home and the AH will be a very interesting price

    maximize.gif Bolton Wanderers v Sunderland
I think Sunderland can nick this game. Bolton have been poor at home losing all 4 games... 1-5 to chelsea, 1-2 to norwich, 0-5 to manu, 2-3 to mancity conceding 15 goals in the process. Granted you can say Sunderlands away form isnt much better... but a 1-1 draw at Anfield and a narrow 2-1 defeat at Arsenal, where they actually played very well, gives plenty of reasons for optimism. With Bendtner and Bardsley returning and given Boltons home record the value def stands out for a Sunderland win at the prices. Sunderland to beat Bolton 5/2 Bet365 Gl all

    Queens Park Rangers v Chelsea
anyone esle surprised at the handicap -1 for chelsea priced at evens? Chelsea have scored 16 goals in last 4 prem games.. and 5 in the last game in the champions league. QPR's form is really mixed, home form includes 3 draws and a 0-4 hammering form bolton.. away form includes 6-0 drubbing by Fulham, and 2-0 loss to wigan.. i feel chelsea are hitting form and will be too superior for QPR? chelsea -1 evens paddypower

Peterborough United v Doncaster Rovers anyone feel peterborough are underpriced at 4/5 against bottom of the table doncaster? Doncasters honeymoon period with new manager Dean Saunders might be over looking at their away form. And to add to it, they have not won a league game on the road since the trip to Derby on 1 March (D2, L8) Brighton 2:1 Doncaster Derby 3:0 Doncaster Cardiff 2:0 Doncaster Reading 2:0 Doncaster (most recent away game) Peterborough have just lost once at home (a game they were unlucky to lose one might say).. Peterborough 2:1 Crystal Palace Peterborough 7:1 Ipswich Peterborough 0:1 Hull Peterborough 2:1 Burnley (most recent home game) ...but they have scored 2 or more goals in the other 3 home games. They also had a battleing 2-3 away win against portsmouth midweek. Anyone a big fan(on either side) to give me more insite on team news? :ok Peterborough to win 4/5 Coral
no good here! but anyone is doubt of what a cruel game betting is.. this result was totally against the run of play. peterborough should have been 4-0 at half time. instead they were 1-0 up. and second half doncaster got a goal against the run of play and another shortly after. peterborough went on to hit the post twice and miss more chances. a result like this just reiterates the fact that you have to be able to take the losses. one good thing that will come out of it is that im sure doncaster will be overpriced in their games coming up which will allow for compensation. watch this space :D

  8. Re: England > Weekend > Championship > 1-2 October palace look way underpriced for me at 3/1. after beating a good brighton side 3-1 away from home (dominated them for large parts) - confidence will be high and their home form is pretty good. also the fact that i think clubs like palace raise their game against promotion favs that just got relegated from the premiership like westham Crystal Palace 2-0 Burnley Crystal Palace 2-1 Coventry City Crystal Palace 2-0 Crawley Town (cup) Crystal Palace 1-1 Blackpool Crystal Palace 2-1 Wigan Athletic (cup) Crystal Palace 0-1 Middlesbrough Crystal Palace 2-1 Middlesbrough (cup) only the one defeat to joint top of the table middlesbrough. any palace fans agree?

  9. Re: England > Weekend > Premier League > 1-2 October

My view on MY biggest game of the season: The Merseyside Derby Do not let Evertons results flatter you! They have had a pretty easy start to the season playing sides who are expecting to be around about 15-20th apart from Man City. They lost at home to QPR, luckily defeated Wigan and Blackburn as they were dominated in large spells by both sides. Tim Cahill picked up a knock against Man City, they expect him to play however. Everton lack a goalscorer as we all know, they seem to have a solid midfield now with Jack Rodwell proving his worth impressing so far this season paired by Mauroane Fellaini who loves Derby Day may I add. I can see these 2 hard to break down and will just sit and stop any Liverpool attack. Every merseyside derby in the past few years David Moyes has set his side out to draw, be hard to break down and settle for the draw. I do not see this changing here. Liverpool have Agger out for this game. A massive blow considering the form of Skrtel and Carragher. Henderson is also not fitting in well at the moment, therefore I think Kuyt needs to start and probably willl. At the moment I think we rely too much on Downing and Suarez to break down defences with Adam often sitting deeper and spraying passes around, this worries me as I know Everton will have 2 defensive midfielders on saturday therefore could be hard to break down. Should be interesting to see if Carroll starts as he played his best this season in a red shirt against Wolves. If he does I expect route 1 football with Carragher and Skrtel just hoofing the ball towards his as they always do. I see a tight game, maybe a little bit biased but I see Everton holding on in the first half keeping it tight however the gates opening in the 2nd half and Liverpool becoming victorious. My predicted Line Ups: Howard Hibbert Jagielka Distin Baines Rodwell Fellaini Coleman Osman Drenthe Cahill Reina Kelly Carragher Skrtel Enrique Lucas Adam Kuyt Suarez Downing MY BETS: Draw/Liverpool - Halftime/Fulltime - 6.5 Unibet Correct Score - 2-1 Liverpool 11.00 Ladbrokes Half of first goal - 2nd Half 3.3 William Hill Both Teams to Score - Yes 1.9 William Hill Under 2.5 Goals - Victor Chandler 1.75
Good post.. but ill add some thoughts if ya dont mind :) You say dont let Evertons form flatter you after an easy start.. first of all imo there are no easy games in the premiership. Liverpools form hasnt been inspiring either.. beating wolves, bolton (maybe sides who are expecting to be around about 15-20th). They had a win against an Arsenal reserve side and a woeful home draw against sunderland. Granted they should prob have beaten sunderland and stoke but the results dont lie. Everton will be very hard to break down at home. I think that their midfield of rowell and Fellaini will get the better of lucas and adam and this will be the key area. Liverpool havent really clicked as yet.. even the 2-1 against wolves wasnt very convincing. Not too sure will Gerrard start but they will need him. I think Everton are massive value at 2/1 at home but will wait for starting line ups :ok
  10. Re: UEFA Champions League > 28 September

ACMILAN V VIKTORIA PLZEN With Milan having a somewhat depleted side i expect a tight low scoring game. They certainly wont want to drop any points at home so i think they will play the game slowly and wont be all out attack. in 3 out of 4 of their home champions league games last season it was 0-0 at half time Milan Auxerre (0-0 HF) 2-0 FT Milan Mardrid (0-1 HT) 2-2 FT Milan Ajax (0-0 HT) 0-2 FT Milan Spurs (0-0 HT) 0-1 FT I think we are likely to see the same again. im not sure whether Plzen have the quality to win the game but i think it will be very tight. now which bet to go for is the key ;) Milan Plzen draw at half time 6/4 willhill Milan Plzen under 2.5 goals 11/10 willhill
:clap i went with the draw at half time but happy both game in

  12. Re: England: Championship Sept 27-28 Watford V Millwall. Down to the botton of the table clash i go looking for some value.. and i think this could be the one. these two teams are pretty similar. both on 7 points.. both have only the 1 win.. (watford away.. millwall at home). watford have only scored 2 goals and conceded 8 at home. but on the other hand millwall have only scored 2 and conceded 9 away from home. but i think millwall could be ready to break the duck of not scoring in 5 games.. their game against derby they did all the playing and even hit the woodwork.. basically did everything but score. watford got beat by a poor forest side at home.. were 2-0 down at home with 10mins to go against birmingham and they got a 90+ equaliser.. game before that they were beat 4-0 at home by westham.. and also beat by derby 1-0 at home. these two teams are probably as bad as one another... but millwall at 2-1 looks value to me. millwalll to win odds of 2/1 william hill. guckluck if playing

  13. Re: UEFA Champions League > 16-17 August in my opinion twente represent value here at 7/5 for a home win considering a number of reasons. they were beaten well 3 times away from home in last years champions league Hapoel Tel Aviv 3-0 Benfica Schalke 04 2-0 Benfica Lyon 2-0 Benfica twentes preformances in europe last year.. showed they can score goals at home against good opposition: Twente Enschede 2-2 Internazionale Twente Enschede 1-1 Werder Bremen Twente Enschede 3-3 Tottenham Hotspur twente have a full strength team where as benficas creative star man Aimar is doubtful. twente 7/5 with paddypower. goodluck

  14. Re: UEFA Europa League > 15th-17th February Sparta Prague V Liverpool i think liverpool at 10/11 is very skinny. they have included 5 youth players in their squad and they will be missing gerrard (injured), suarez (cup tied), carroll (injured), agger (injured), poulsen (wife in labour). you can see frailties in the squad after the 1-1 draw with wigan at the weekend. in the europa group stages they failed to win away from home. (all draws). i know that was under roy hodgson and they have been rejuvenated under dalglish but its the same team minus the above players. sparta prague on the other hand are unbeaten at home in the europa group stages. the conditions will be below 0 at the stadium. they are second in the czech league and have won last 5 games scoring 11 and conceding 2. they are a solid team that i think liverpool will struggle to break down without gerrard. i think the draw no bet is outstanding value at 21/10 or lay liverpool at 2.06 sparta draw no bet 21/10 skybet lay liverpool 2.06 betfair gl all :)

  15. Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 15 February hello all. im gonna back up alot of predictions here and go with milan. there has been good reasoning on here in regards to european pedigree that some people are disagreeing with.. thats why sport and betting is such an interesting game! here is my reasoning to why milan will beat spurs. The knock out stages are a way different senario that the league phase. if you look at the probable teams: Abbiati; Oddo, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Antonini; Gattuso, Flamini, Seedorf; Pato, Ibrahimovic, Robinho. Possible starting XI: Gomes; Hutton, Gallas, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Sandro, Palacios, Kranjcar; Van der Vaart; Defoe. at least 8 outta of the 11 have champions league knock out experience from the milan team while maybe just 2 form the spurs team. this for me is huge. i think that ac milan price of 3/4 boyles sports is huge value.. they are this good value because of spurs form in the champions league so far and their form against inter which to me is suspect given inters form. Ac milan are flyin in Italy, top of the table, with their home form top notch scoring 27 goals in 13 games and conceding 10. i think they will have way too much firepower for this spurs side with very little champions league knockout experience. Ac milan to beat spurs 3/4 boyle sports

  16. hey folks. quick question about weights and ratings. i think i might be mixing them up. in the 4.10 today in fontwell cape stormer runs. the racing post says hes 2lbs higher i know this is in relation to the rating he was 110 in the last race and is 112 today. he is carrying 11-9 on his back and is running in a 0-115 rated race. how can the rating of 110 be any different than 112 if hes carying the same 11-9 weight as the last race and racing in the same rated race?? what am i missing? is there any relation between the weight hes carrying to the OR of a horse?
