  1. Re: Champions League (Feb 20th) Going to go for correct scores in the Celtic game 0 - 0 1 - 0 1 - 1 I cannot see Barcelona coming away with a win as Celtics home record speaks for itself. They do have worries with injuries and suspensions however will be well pumped up for the biggest game of their season so far. Barcelona have struggled of late and although they welcome back some of their "superstars" were lucky to get a result last weekend. They will however be happy with a draw.

  2. Re: Champions League (Feb 19th)

Firstly United, you posted you illinformed post on Celtic in the wrong thread. Frankly to describe Celtic as terrible shows that you have no knowledge of their recent performances in the SPL or their performances within the fortress that is Celtic Park. Since the Martin O'Neill era Celtic have only been defeated once in 31 attempts, hardly a record you would class as "terrible". When you consider the might of the opposition which have been deservedly defeated at Parkhead; AC Milan, Barcelona, Benfica Porto, Celta Vigo, Stuttgart, Valencia, Juventus, Blackburn, Lyon, Shakhtar, Man U (remember that one??) have all been put to the sword in Paradise so to class us as being "terrible" is nothing short of ludicrous. Under Gordon Strachan Celtic are undefeated in Europe at home, winning 6 of the 8 games played at CP. The other 2 were draws (0-0 v Milan in the lazst 16 last year and 1-1 v Spartak Moscow in the qualifying stages this year a tie we would go onto win on penalties.) Again not really fitting a record of a "terrible terrible" team. There must be only 1 of 2 reasons why you would class us as being terrible. The first of which is to show up your horrific knowledge of the current climate in the SPL. Celtic have been on a fantastic run in the past 3 weeks, after a mediocre few months which have left us 4 points behind Rangers. If we maintain our current form and continue to play we are just now then there is no doubt in my mind that Strachan will be the first manager since the late great Jock Stein to win 3 SPL titles in a row. Your "terrible" interpretation of Celtic gives a woefully inaccurate perception of the Bhoys and could cost fellow PL's some big money after reading your write-up of the game on Wednesday. The second can only be attributed to some resentment you have towards Celtic, mainly because you are in part a Rangers fan and are bitter that Celtic are still in the CL whilst you blew a golden opportunity to make it to the last 16. Just remember "You've never won it and you never will!!!" I will try and post about the other CL games at some point but this uneducated and illinformed post left me so infuriated I had to dismiss his childish and inaccurate post.
The Celtic game does not belong on this thread!!! Please post accordingly, secondly to describe Celtic as terrible in terms of Champions League performances at home is a little hasty and posted with little thought. However to describe the original poster as a Rangers fan is pointless also, as are quotes about winning the SPL etc, so please keep the posts in the proper spirit of the forum instead of allowing irrelevant drivel and bile to creep in.
  3. Re: Champions League - 28th November

if its a crime to defend your club against sarcastic remarks then I apologise. and DD - dont remark on other clubs - keep your sarcasm either to yourself or the playground. .
Sorry not getting involved, no crime just opinion so I take it no apology is forthcoming!!!!!!!! Hardly sarcasm however it may be an idea to practice what you preach ie England etc. Back to your glass house with your silly remarks!
  4. Re: Champions League - 28th November Only one bet for me tonight that is Shakhtar at Parkhead. They are available at 10/3 which for me is a steal. They completely murdered Celtic a few weeks ago and could have won by a cricket score. Celtic Park has been a fortress for a long time but they have to lose sometime and I fancy it to be tonight. Shakhtar are quick and can cause the Celtic defence problems, I disagree with the posts re their defence being better and can see them losing by a couple of goals. Might also have a nibble on the bookings. 30pts Shakhtar good luck all

  5. Re: UEFA matches 14 - 15/3 - return leg Only one bet for me this evening, which is over 5.5 bookings in the Rangers game. This was quite a tough opening leg in Glasgow with a number of bookings which may add to the spice, however Rangers will be desperate for a result and if things don't go their way early they will become frustrated hopefully culminating in some bookings. The Spaniards will look to play it tight at the back hitting Rangers on the counter as in Glasgow, however they are going to fight to the death to progress as far as they ever have in European competitions to date. All in all I expect an explosive match with plenty bookings so I am on at 4/5 with Bet 365

  6. Re: Champions League Tuesday 21 Nov Two bets for me this evening firstly Man United at Celtic Park they will go for the win to secure passage to the next stage and have the skills required to cause Celtic some damage. The second bet is over on the bookings as hopefully the pace of Ronaldo and Giggs will cause the Celtic defence major problems. Ps "Celtic are always cheated in Europe" as always sensibleboy a tremendous post!!!!!

  7. Re: CL matches 13/09 Once again sensible what are you talking about, your post is completely irrelevant to the thread!!!!!!. As far as being robbed the proper score should have been around 6 or 7 v 2 to Man United. Furthermore to say Man Utd = Scum just shows how narrow minded you are. Is it any wonder people think the way they do about Scottish people. Keep your posts in topic or keep your silly thoughts and bigoted opinions to yourself.
