Re: UEFA Cup 24th of April I would think it was suspended because the ladbrokes website price is not the same as the retail one on the half time/full time issue. 4/1 in shops, 9/2 on the website.

Re: Group D agree very much with what boyd has said but I'd play it a different way. I would dismiss russia from the reckoning as even hiddink has expressed such frustration at their level of players and this could even be beyond his magic touch. I would take greece and sweden to qualify at 2.1 each. Should spain excel like they should on paper then you will get a small return for your stake, should spain falter as spain can then these are the two best placed to take advantage. 2.1 betfred sweden to qualify 2.1 betfred greece to qualify

Re: Group C I also think you under estimate romania at your peril I would recommend a buy of their points total when the spreads get there act together. it's a tough group to get out of but there could be a lot of draws here and with mutu in fine form romania could well spring a few shocks.

Re: Group A could do worse than turkey to qualify currently 2.88 with betfred. weide open group and with question marks over czechs and a very mediocre swiss side value could be on the turks.
-
Re: Group B hard to dispute what everyone has already said the top two are head and shoulders here with poland well above a poor austria in last. The 1.91 on croatia to beat austria must be bet of the tournament if not year, austria are just awful and croatia are a vastly underrated side.

Re: Ante Post Winner think the odds on either portugal or spain or good enough to stand as individual bet, top scorer is a funny old market. as for the outright would avoid italy, france as that is a very trappy group, germany would be the early call for me, proven winners, easy group stage and very winnable quarter should see them in the semi at the least.

Re: Welcome to the Euro 2008 Forum not sure that ronaldo will have as many goalscoring opportunities for portugal as he does for man u scolari doesn't play him in the same way. early thoughts are you want someone who looks certain to get out of group stage and has weak teams that concede goals. Early thoughts are for klose of germany and torres of spain and maybe some each way value on someone like olic of croatia. can't wait:)

Re: Champions League - April 9th the worry with schalke at the moment is they are struggling to score goals, kuranyi is off form at the moment and they don't have much a goal threat around the rest of the team, not one I'd rush to get involved in.

Re: Golf The Masters jay jay nothing against cink but I wouldn't be so eager to oppose stenson. The first year he played the masters he made the cut then last year was tied 17th, which is quite respectable I think for a two year spell and see no reason why he can't improve his position further this year. outside a disappointing wgc he has had a very good year with numerous top 5 finishes. good luck with your play though but it wouldn't be one I wanted to get involved on:)

Re: Darts: Premier League Week 9 lewis has dropped out with iLLNESS meaning jenkins will take his place and play twice. It should run like this Jenkins v Wade Barney v Part Mardle v Manley Taylor v Jenkins hope that helps:)

Re: Best Bet Of The Day 05/02/08 negus de beaumont is the tip in 2.50 sedgefield, ferdy murphy and graham lee strong team, lee knows the north course. the horse is a class apart on potential and the only question mark is getting around,at ebtter than evens this really stands out for a horse who could be an each way player in the royal sun alliance.

Re: UEFA U21 Qualifiers I posted this elsewhere by mistake so here goes. 9/2 with bet365 for mark noble to score anytime seems good value. The english midfielder is great at set pieces and netted 2 against Ireland last time:)
-
Re: International Friendlies (Feb 2-6) does under 21 games go here? If so mark noble 9/2 with bet365 in the anytime market could be the value, netted two against Ireland in last clash, great striker of set pieces and gets forward into great positions. Worth a small stake.

Re: Sedgefield 05/02 negus de beaumont is the interesting one, fell so early last time but head and shoulders above the field on form. I think better than evens is good value, 2.50 sedgefield, graham lee on board is just an extra bonus. Also the horse is 50/1 for the royal sun alliance with ladbrokes and a good run today might see his odds drop, not the worst each way bet for cheltenham on a promising horse.

Re: Premier League Darts Week 1 - 31/01/08 the half time/full time market are the ones that stand out for me and bet365 currently have them running, certain players start well and fade and vice versa, could be some good value in backing these. PART FOR INSTANCE IS 3.2 TO BE ahead half time and full time. Wade half time, draw full time, wade half time taylor full time is of interest at 15.0

Re: Darts: Premier League Outright I like the look of the to finish bottom market, manley 2.75 with sportingbet and is most likely bottom, the only real other one who could finish bottom is manley and 3.5 to finish bottom with boylesports. seems good value to me as the top six all have a lot more about their game.

Re: 2008 PDC World Darts Championship TAYLOR is in action tomorrow night, that first match was a frustrating one, laursen missed so many key doubles that let him down, think tabern got out of jail with that win.

Re: wolverhampton 13/12/07 a fairly nice way:) hey it wasn#t the worst 16/1 shot i've seen that was nice:) good call on the king and I fernando helped with a few xmas presents, cheers:)
-
Re: wolverhampton 13/12/07 think there is a good 4 or 5 could win this, lot of inconsistent but potential winners. fair bit of money for mighty kitchener and the king and I

Re: wolverhampton 13/12/07 that was a cocky little ride:)

Re: wolverhampton 13/12/07 anyone see any reason to oppose the fav in teh 7.50, seems to be drifiting slightly anyone got any theories

Re: Snooker: UK Championships heard former snooker player neil foulds tipping up maguire and selby this week. could be good outside value bearing in mind the vulnerability of the seeds. just finding it now

Re: Champions League Group D Tuesday 4 December as a rangers fan you'd be expecting and I would too gattuso too be up for this, if he is then milan are not going to be allowed to coast.
-
Re: Champions League Group D Tuesday 4 December cheers syd was considering that as well, but milan are just a little too frustrating at breaking teams down early for my liking. good luck to everyone on what they play tonight will be a tough one and wouldn't invest too much money on it.

Re: Man U v Barcelona 2nd leg (0-0) 29 April in response to dj purry it could be that or it could just be that in a football match one side can win and so can the other or it can be drawn. mad I know but all results are possible, so maybe just maybe brazil beat argentina cos they played better and maybe if barca win tonight it's cos they played better. worth a thought.
