Everyone (media in particular) seems too much focused on how tired and physically incapable the Croats will be on Wednesday. This could prove painfully misleading and is just additional burden on an inexperienced English side, which is yet to see off above average midfield-talented team (Colombia without James does not really count). And this is without even mentioning the fact that England are yet to meet a more attacking and creative team against them. IMO we are already at semis and still not sure of the English quality in defense and especially in the defensive midfield.

IMO it seems widely immature to write off the Croats so easily. Croatia to win @3.50 (with prospects of going up in the build up to the game).

Re: CL matches Wed 27/09 Bordeaux - PSV PSV are way far from the past two years where they made really good games (only at home). With 5 away games without scoring a single goal and with the misses of 3 key player (Cocu - captain and the most experienced player in the squad, Farfan and Kluivert - the titular attacking line up also miss the game for sure) PSV seems harmless and powerless against Bordeaux whoes goal is to get 100% of their home games if they want to get through the 1/8 finals (which seem very possible with Liverpool and Galatasaray being the other two teams in group C) The misson starts tonigh and HW is clear to me 10/10! Bordeax probable line up : Ramé - Jurietti, Henrique, Jemmali, Marange (at the back) Faubert, Fernando, Mavuba, Micoud, Wendel (in the middle) and Chamakh in front. Sporting is very offensive and good team (remember two years ago - UEFA CUP finalist and even though they lost in the final from russsian team portugals are showing great football ever since then). Two weeks from now players from lisabon made a great game to beat Inter (full of stars and consider as one of the potential winners this year) while Spartak left Germany with 4 goals down against Bayern (who is so not in great form and probably wiil loose tonight against Inter). One win here in Russia will make thing much more easier for the portuguise to reach the 1/8 with 6 point from first 2 games.... Spartak is so var away from one expirienced team in europe and this can be a big problem. This is why i can`t understand why odds on Sporting are that high !? Re: CL matches Tue 26/09 Steaua - Lyon At first look this game is like sure AW (Lyon are unstopable in France again...the also crushed Real Madrid very hart and 2:0 was small price that madrid payed) but let`s don`t forget the way Steaua made fun of Dinamo in Kiev (1:4). The injures of Mirel Radoi,Victoras Iacob are not a big problem , because they`re missing from a long time...the problem is the Paraschiv (midfielder) who is doubtful but the coach sad that they will make everything to set him on for the game tonight. An outstanding authmosphere is expected as Steaua are returnin to their old stadium Ghencea (around 26000 seats). Last year Steaua made a miracles in UEFA cup and now with this flying start in CL i believe their convidence is on good level. May be it will be very hard for HW but 1X is way more possible Steaua - Lyon 1X 1.72 bet365 :hope

Re: CL matches Tue 26/09 AEK - Anderlecht I saw that you`ve noticed that the last visit of AEK in CL was very stunning (6 draws from 6 games..). The team from Greece lost i Milan two weeks ago (0:3) and AEK are very far from good start in Greece home championship with 1-3-1 in firs 5 games. At the weekend they lost away from Olympiacos in a very slow and week match.Even though Anderlecht is not a big deal in CL the belgians made a decent game vs Lille (1:1) in first round.
