    Re: Womens World Cup 2011 I have been holding my bets for this edition and wanted to see how the teams play in the first few games.As expected its been a low scoring tournament so far and if you had notice until now only the USA girls has won a AH.I been following women football since the 2003 wc and now the gaps are not as it was before in wc.This all will change in the second round matches but today norway should thrash guinea to start the goal floods that is coming in the second round.It seems like all the money is on germany,usa and brazil to win the cup but if there is a team who can upset them all is norway.Norway has all the pedigree in women football and they always produce good players year after year.Stensland is back for norway and she will be very crucial in midfield area for them to break the very pysical guinea side.Norway did beat usa comfortably a week ago and did quite well against germany before conceding 3 late goals. I dont know much about guinea but they have never played a world class team and should have a rude awakening here with a norway side who is full of pedigree.     This should be a surprise year in cl as far as i know but if in history wise then i won't be much surprise too. bayern munchen winning the cl this year migh be a surprise to many but with their history i don't think it will be that big of a surprise to me.Van gaal is getting the result that we expect of him and with the players on board i think there is value on bayern as of now.If bayern beats man.utd then the odds will drop surely in the semi finals. The special one is going to be real special and i had this feeling even before the CL started this season but football is not about feeling and the special one justified that they are not to be taken lightly this season after their win in stamford bridge.     don't waste your money on Bayern, Robben is missing the home fixture Bayern will not score. At Old Trafford expect Bayern to get embarassed worst than an EPL side. Even if somehow Bayern cheat their way through United which they won't, they have to face Barca or Arsenal in the semis. I've basically gone all in for United to qualify (1.5), this is the most certain qualification all year, even if it is the CL. I made the same play vs Milan but with smaller stakes before. Rooney and Ferdinand are playing the 1st leg.
    This is the cl and bayern had won this cup more times than man.utd so i don't see anything wrong with my bet and it has big value too..Man.utd could still win the 2nd leg but bayern is a very hungry team and in europe you never discard bayern.I hope bayern will get through and meet barcelona.Then you will see whats bayern made of after that humilating defeat by barce last season.That of cause is not to be talked yet before the 2nd leg finishishes. I admire barcelona of cause(who dont admire the way the play anyway) but if they win the cl this year then this barcelona team is arguebly the best team in the history of cl because everyone knows that until now no team has won the cl back to back.

    Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April It is pure madness barcelona giving such a high hcp to bayern. bayern in europe is a diffrent kind of team and everyone knows it. The 1-5 lost to wolfsburg made people think that bayern sure win lost big at nou camp.I just cant believe what a crazy hcp of barcelona -1.5.     Re: CL - Wednesday 25 February All this talk of crisis is little too much i think and bayern are only four points behind hsv in bundesliga.There is still plenty of time to regroup after two loses in a row but bayern in europe is a diffrent thing.Bayern have the best record in group stage by the way and this happened last year when bayern was having a bad time in the bundesliga too. sporting best achievement in european cup or cl is q/final. Bayern record i don't think there is a need to be said of it. sporting have never won in 14 games against german club in europe. bayern have lost once in 20 games against portugal club.(The only lost was against the best portugal team that is porto in european cup final) Yes Bayern lost their last 2 games in bundesliga. but bayern very seldom lose 3 in a row. I always think history like to repeat and bayern should not lose today.There is possiblity of draw but lisbon to win will take a mighty effort against a bayern squad who have been wounded very much and their priority has always been champion league this year because of missing out last year cl.     For me Germany is clerar HW. I thing they will be motivated to proof that bad results against Ireland and Czech R was just a bad period. Germany Probable line-up: Lehmann - Fritz, Mertesacker, Metzelder, Lahm - Hilbert, Borowski, Hitzlsperger, Podolski - Gomez, Klose Germany will have to much for Wales.

    Re: Champions League Tuesday 06 Nov Valencia-Rosenborg Valencia need to win this game to have any chance to qualify to the next stage.I know talking about revenge might be inrelevant but i have monitored valencia for some time and they are a team who likes to take revenge.Rosenborg have only won once before in cl away matches and this match for me is quite like a banker.The fans surely demand a win or nothing else from the players after their biggest home defeat against madrid last week.Koeman taking charge for his first home game would be another motivation.Rosenborg have already overachieved this season in cl and they should be very motivated too but valencia at home is too much class for them.
