  1. Re: Finland, Veikkausliiga, 24/10

Well' date=' I found Viikingit is also from Helsinki when I post this message. Good news, once we know the relationship between HJK and Viikingit, the two games will be more easy to guess.[/quote'] I'm not G:G and he surely may explain much more but let me tell you something; Even if the relationship is terrible between two teams and the supporters, board members are more professional. Having another team from the same city is always good for both teams. In this case, HJK and Viikingit, i can not say these two are from the same city, or that these two have possitive effect on eachother. HJK is from another world. Many supporters. People like soccer. They play every season for the title. have 100 years behind... VIIKINGIT is also from Helsinki but from Eastern. Area named Vuosaari. Many foreigners so not many supporters. It's their first season in Veikkausliiga and it looks like to be their last. Oulu 2-0 HJK Helsinki About Oulu - HJK can i say that, HJK to be motivated for Viikingit is just a joke. HJK is in a terrible run in the last 10 rounds. What should change them? Beside this, TAMU won the league last week. In the Century season for HJK, Tampere United won the title. It was sure that HJK would not win it and also looking sure that HJK will win it, still was it not sure mathematically but with last rounds results, TamU the champion. HJK to win a match in the next round after TamU wins the title? No, i can not say that. Oulu to beat HJK today, if not 0-0. Pick: Oulu @2.85 - Admiral - 4/10
  2. Re: UEFA Cup 1st Round 1st Leg 20/09 Never seen Larissa that strong. 33rd minute goal from Bakayoko from a long range shot. Just in two minutes a big defensive mistake by Blackburn left 3-4 Larissa players alone vs the keeper and just one defender. In two minutes, 2-0 lead for Larissa. Blackburn needs to score at least on if the want to go on.

  3. Re: Sweden,Superettan 9 - 13/9 Falkenbergs 2 - 0 Norrkoping Sometimes top teams can want to help relegation teams but this is usually for a board friendship. Sometimes a regional friendship. For Norrkoping and the relegation candidates does the regional part count as Sylvia is another team from Norrkoping. The problem is that we can not talk about a friendship here as i remember this years matches between these two Norrkoping teams and both games had many bad tackles and also penalties etc. For this reason is my answer "no, they won't care to help any team" to Colonel Claypool. Norrkoping has already promoted. I would never risk on them vs team that still need to fight. Like Falkenbergs today. Pick: Falkenbergs @4.40 Mansion88 - 4/10

  4. Re: Turkey Super Ligi ( Aug 17-18-19 ) Fenerbahce 1 - 2 Gaziantepspor Call me crazy but i'm not close to these two teams and i can just pick from squad, transfers, trainers and some matches i have watched. Gaziantepspor have i not watched but i know them from the summer transfer of Ugur Yildirim from Heerenveen. Yildirim is a freekick specialist and a good midfield player. Beside him has Gaziantepspor changed the coach if i'm not wrong. With the new coach, the first match was a win vs new comer last weekend. One of the best keepers i know in Turkish League is Kenan Hasagic. Hasagic left Gaziantepspor. For him is the new sign a national keeper Omer Catkic. Correct me if i'm wrong but Gaziantepspor is one of the good teams in this league. The most important player i know, Ugur Yildirim is key in all kind of set pieces and i saw Fenerbahce many times struggling in set pieces. Isn't this a good chance for Gaziantepspor? I watches the Fenerbahce - Anderlecht match and Fenerbahce played not so good despite the 1-0 win. The odds on Fenerbahce 1.25, on Gaziantepspor 12.00. Are these two teams so strong and weak? I will try a shot :hope Pick: Gaziantepspor @12.00 Expekt - 1/10 First Goal Gaziantepspor @4.10 Centrebet - 1/10

  5. Re: CL final qualifying round, first leg (14-15/8) Fenerbahce 2 - 1 Anderlecht Anderlecht is without doubt the strongest Belgium team. They have a list of the best players and the Belgium League is just Anderlecht and the others. Their 1-0 results or lost points in the next weeks will not mean that they have oponents. These 1-0's or lost points are just for one reason, the other teams playing more defensive vs Anderlecht. The question here will be whether Turkish champion Fenerbahce will play more defensive? Zico is a defensive known coach but Fenerbahce lost it's season opener vs a new comer. After this loss, a draw vs Anderlecht for example would not be nice for Zico and the supporters. That's why, an open minded Fenerbahce could we see today. Don't know the Turkish press but in Belgium, the probable lineup is like; Fenerbahce: Serdar, Turaci, Edu, Lugano, Roberto Carlos, Ali, Deivid, Alex, Ugur, Aurelio, Kezman Anderlecht: Zitka, Wasilewski, Pareja (?), Juhasz, Deschacht, Biglia (?), Polak, Goor, Hassan, Tchite, Boussoufa This lineup says that the match will be played in midfield. This lineup also says that Fenerbahce will have playmaker Alex back. This lineup says Anderlecht will be in Turkey to score a goal. Pick: Anderlecht Over 0.5 @1.61 expekt - 4/10

  6. Re: CL final qualifying round, first leg (14-15/8) Toulouse 0 - 1 Liverpool Nice performance from Pool vs A.Villa. Torres looked to be happy being beside Benitez and this Torres is the addition to the strong team. Toulouse is a French team and like many French teams, they need to be in the Uefa Cup, not CL. Just my opinion as i rate French teams as "two leg" teams. Liverpool can get what they want from Toulouse. They have 2-3 missing players but not so important. Toulouse will probably have Elmander fit but his injury can cause some problems vs a team like Liverpool. As Liverpool have some main players out of the lineup like Crouch, Benayoun and Mascherano, it is also expected that these players could make starts and some players could rest before the Chelsea match. Rest or not, Rafa will field a squad to win this match. He will not want to care before the 2nd leg IMO. Pick: Liverpool @1.84 pinnacle - 5/10

  7. Re: CL 2nd qual rd - return leg (7 - 8/8)

i read somewhere Elfsborg misses 6-7 players, can someone confirm it? g.l
Elfsborgs available players (Source, Elfsborg Official Site); Johan Wiland, Abbas Hassan, Johan Karlsson, Markus Falk-Olander, Andreas Augustsson, Fredrik Björck, Mattias Floren, Daniel Mobaeck, Martin Andersson, Stefan Ishizaki, Leandre Griffit, Samuel Holmén, Anders Svensson, Daniel Eres, Emir Bajrami, Mathias Svensson, Fredrik Berglund, James Keene, Denni Avdic As seen, Wiland, Andersson, Björck, Ishizaki, Holmen, Augustsson, A.Svensson, Mobaeck, James Keene, Berglund, M.Svensson. Not that different from the best eleven, or? :ok Daniel Alexandersson and Jari Ilola are the only important missings, but IMO, not a that big loss. Still, if you would ask me whether i would put a penny on Elfsborg, my answer would be a big NO. Debreceni can cause trouble and odds are great. I skip the match just because Levski vs Tampere match impressed me and changed all my mind about Scandinavian soccer vs Eastern Europe. Otherwise would i go for Debreceni.
  8. Re: CL 2nd qual rd - return leg (7 - 8/8)

Sherif Tiraspol - Besiktas Istanbul Always is hard to play against the teams from Moldova, and Besiktas clearly have understood this from the first game, that finished only 1:0 for them... The Moldovians have very strong defense and one weak attacker,so I do not think they will open a lot and go in blind attack from the first signal, they need to keep their clean sheet and try to score a goal to go to extra time.. Besiktas also do not play very well, although their attacker Bobo appears to be in good form, but I think he is the only one that goes well - they lost 1:2 from Fenerbahce for the Supercup ,so I see them not fully ready for the season. MY pick under 2.5
Besiktas' new coach was the coach of Kayserispor last year. I remember Kayserispor's matches vs Larisa, Tirana and even AZ Alkmaar. Always a controlled team. Last year, Kayserispor's most valuable players were offensive players like Mehmet Topuz who also recieved transfer offers from Russian Zenith, but the coach played controlled and managed to do that. This year is he with Besiktas and Besiktas' most valuable players are not offensive players but defenders like Gokhan Zan, Ibrahim Toraman, all national team defenders. This should show your being right on the U2.5 bet.
  9. Re: CL 2nd qual rd - return leg (7 - 8/8)

Do you know what team Salzburg will use against Ventspils? They are with 3 goals advantage from the first leg. Maybe will rest someone?
Sure, that can happen today. In Austria was it written that Alexander Zickler, Niko Kovac, Milan Dudic and Karel Pitak could be off for Christoph Leitgeb, Vladimir Janocko, Vratislav Lokvenc or Alex as starters. Still is Salzburg taking the oponent serious cause asistant manager T.Fink, who was a Karlsruhe player ten years ago, had a bad experience vs Brondby with a 3-0 lead away and 3-1 FT score. Then Brondby won 5-0 in Germany and Karlsruhe was off. Salzburg players know that they can not just walk for 90 minutes and go on. But to your question; Some players will take a rest.
  10. Re: Finland, Veikkausliiga 8 - 9/8

FIN Veikkausliiga' date= Injuries, August 8 - 07.08.2007 FC KooTeePee - FC Inter 21 GUSTAFSSON Jermu D ** INJURED rest of the season 9 / 15 FC Inter 8 TUMANTO Touko M ** INJURED rest of the season - / 15 FC Inter 28 MÄKITALO Mika M * SUSPENDED 11 / 15 from totalctrl Any1 have any idea whether those two have been injured long time ago or just recently ??
Gustafsson is a defender that can also play as defensive midfield and even as MC as his knows how to pass and he is a great team players. He was a perfect youngster when he was 16-17. With the Finnish U17 had he some great games. But in his 20's, he did not show the same improvement. He scored a goal this year and is off for five weeks. Being without his is not so important as Jermu is just one of FC Inter's many young players. Not a key man, but a good man. Tumanto is an offensive midfield player. Pace, dribbling, passing, technique... He is not bad but his injury is bad. Off for the whole season. Makitalo is actually the most important player for me in this missing players list. He is offensive midfield player that can play from right to left in all areas. A creative player that is not that fast and that does not to train so much. I like his abilities. To be honest, FC Inter is a young team and 3-4 missing players can be replaced. Maybe just Martin Mutumba and Teemu Turunen could i take as key players. All the others, replaceable. The other team, KooTeePee is on a good form. Whether they have better players? No they don't. They even don't have someone worth Mutumba or Turunen but they have a scorer, Kim Liljeqvist, who is having a great season and in the last weeks, the whole team showed that they have more that everyone thought. I have to agree with G:G. KooTeePee's for atm and the high odds are worth a shot. :ok
  11. Re: AFC Asian Cup 2007 (July 7-July 29) Agree with Beejayville. To score just one vs a keeper that does not even know that he is allowed to use his hand to save the ball, is a terrible performance. A League players would suit here more. If Korea and Japan can send their local players and trust them, then should Australia do the same. Look at Lucas Neill. Such a bad performance. So many mistakes and finally the red card. This shows how these players concatrated for the Asian Cup. Still nice to win with the easy OVER 3.5 bet in the last 20 minutes. A full time result that i could never predict before the match, but this result was good for me to win. What else can i want. Maybe just to watch some bench players vs Thailand in the last match. :ok There are some good ones ! Like, Beauchamp, Thwaite, Jason Culina, Carl Valeri, David Carney, Nick Carle and Brett Holman.

  12. Re: AFC Asian Cup 2007 (July 7-July 29) Korea - Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabia is not a tustable team. Korea are also hard to trust with the main players missing. In this case, all bets look hard as this is also a group opener for both teams. I don't see a match worth watching. Could accept a correct score 0-0 bet but all bets are still very risky and although is like the 0-0, i can not even advice the under 2.5 bet. That's the reason i won't touch this match.

  13. Re: AFC Asian Cup 2007 (July 7-July 29) Lebanese referee Talaat Najm already deserved his place for at least one SEMI FINAL match. Great decisions in this hard match. A terrible performance by both sides and a little mistake can decide on the winner. That's why the referees only one little wrong decision can mean one side wins the three points undeserved! Btw, home side Vietnam scores the 1-0 leading goal. Terrible defending mistake by UAE.
