  1. Re: Champions League Group D Tuesday 4 December Hi all, everyone seems to be on milan or draw. im going for a Milan win here. mostly because of Celtics poor away form. But the gamebreaker for me is KAKA... coz he just got his Ballon d'Or award, and shud be keen to show the world that he is the real deal. (c.ronaldo got 2 goals ysterday,2nd place) so i think, KAKA will show his class for this match gud luck all pick: milan -0.5

Western Conference Match up between Dallas Mavericks vs San Antonio Spurs Due to last season playoff format, both teams met eachother in the second round with Mavericks without home-court advantage still manage to win in best of 7 on 7th match. A pity that they meet eachother so soon but rules have been changed to avoid such thing happen as teams that hold best records will not meet until conference finals. A match up between San Antonio's Tim Duncan is a two-time MVP (2002 and 2003), and Dallas's Dirk Nowitzki finished third in the MVP balloting in each of the last two seasons will be exciting to watch. Both have faced each other 24 times during the regular season. The Spurs have won 14 of them, but the Duncan-Nowitzki matchup has been too close to call. Both have averaged 22.8 points a game. In last season's playoff matchup, Duncan averaged 32.3 points and 11.7 rebounds to Nowitzki's 27.1 points and 13.3 rebounds. Last season Handicap offered to Spurs at Dallas home court have been set as +2.5, +4.0, +2.0 , +2.0 Spurs got most of their Points come from Tony Parker thus handicap have been adjusted to +3 with news stating his doubtful start on this season opener. Recent match up have favor the underdogs Head to Head : Underdog is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings. Road team is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings. Spurs have won all nine openers under Popovich -- the longest current streak in the league and Dallas has won 10 of its last 12 openers. With such tense opener, both teams will not go offence right from the right. Spurs traditionally is an team with defensive mind restrict Dirk. Holding him is as good as holding at least 10points back. Will go for full time +3 on San Antonio with equal stake on Under 183.00

    Event

    2006/2007 National Basketball Association

    Date

    03/11/2006

    Match Up

San Antonio Spurs @ Dallas Mavericks

    First Half

    Handicap : -/+ 1.50 Totals : O/U 91

    Full Time

    Handicap : -/+ 3 Totals : O/U 183.00

is it safe to say that going for the Spurs +3, and under 183 FT is safe?
  4. Re: UEFA Cup (Nov 2)

Hi everybody Here are some news on the the English Teams : Newcastle manager says: "I think our game against Livorno can help us to be more confident. We know we must win at least one more game and we have a good opportunity tomorrow evening, even though we know they are a good team. "I have looked at the statistics and know that, if we win this game, we will have almost qualified," Le Guen added, "but there is hard work to do."
this must be preview for some friendly match in the future...as i know Le Guen is still manager of Rangers and Newcastle is playing Palermo. no offence, pls edit this.. before it confuses others

  6. Re: Sweden > Allsvenskan > Oct 29-31

Youre welcome' date=' Godmato ! It has stopped raining now, but the pitch will surely be pretty bad. Would not bet no goals for Hammarby though, they have scored 10/12 homegames, and Gefle have only kept a clean goalsheet in 1/12 awaygames.[/quote'] i actually fancy over 2.5 for this match, erm read somewhere that Gefle home pitch is artificial grass, which makes it hard for opposing teams, but i dont know bout Hammarby's pitch..if its not artificial grass also, then Gefle might have some problems, also when top teams meet, usually lots of goals are involved. dont know how much the rain will affect the game in terms of goal scoring
  7. Re: Champions League (Oct 31) PSV - Gala im going with the home team coz their recent form is just great.... and gala is just now the force they were before. some might argue that playing in CL is different than the league..but then we can always look back at previous records, PSV hard to beat at home ala~ boca J, Gala.. bad away form....... hopefully this all points to a PSV home win coz im on them... and Bremen also cheers~ happy punting also on Bremen -1.25(AH)/Psv -1(AH)/Liverpool -1(AH)treble :ok hopefully all will get through
