I placed a bet with boylesports on the man of the match betting in portugal v spain. I went for Isco as my bet and up until the ronaldo freekick i was feeling confident! Anyway my bet was settled as a losing bet as the result was deemed as being Ronaldo by boylesports "traders". I checked the bbc website for confirmation and they actually declared isco as man of the match so i disputed the result with boylesport but they said the result was final. I would be fine with this normally but when i double checked the rules for this market the only t&c's they have are as follows:
2) Man Of The Match - live TV matches
Man Of The Match markets for matches broadcast live on Sky Sports/ESPN/BT Sports will be settled according to the result declared by Sky Sports/ESPN/BT Sports, unless otherwise stated in the individual market's terms and conditions.
Going by their own rules i would say it would be fair to assume that as the match was shown on BBC that the result would be based on the bbc result. They don;t make any reference to using the fifa result or any other source so using the same logic as all other liver matches the result is based on the broadcasters result?
I dont really want to give this up as it would be a decent payout but am i fighting a losing battle, has anyone else had something similar?
