  1. Re: Europa League Qualifying > August 22-23 Players Lazio will use in this match (from their official site): Portieri: Marchetti, Bizzarri, Berardi; Difensori: Biava, Cavanda, Dias, Konko, Scaloni; Centrocampisti: Cana, Ledesma, Onazi, Mauri, Candreva, Lulic, Hernanes; Attaccanti: Floccari, Kozak, Rocchi, Zarate, Klose. Looks like very strong squad. Anyone with more knowledge about Lazio would be welcome. Mura has many financial problems and aren't capable of UEFA group competition. They have lost last league match at home 1:3 against very low quality team. They will try to play 11 man in front of goal and only real question is if Lazio is capable to end at least 1 goal. Or will they be motivated to score in away match.

  2. Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 7 July Any news here ? Vllaznia could like all Albanian teams finish up good job here at home. Hard to tell if only 0:1 result in first match was result of Birkirkara strength or Vllaznia unable to score. Also we are talking about Albanian soccer and fixing could be involved case draw is good enough to go through. But in normal circumstances Vllaznia with full squad and motivation should win this one.

  3. Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 7 July Some European bettors that have watched first match do believe that Honka is a huge favorite in this encounter. They outplayed Nomme totally but where unlucky to score. Truly Nomme is much better in away matches in home league and in matches between Scandinavian teams home field isn't that much of a plus. Does anyone have any insider info about those 2 teams - motivation, line-ups maybe. As it looks on first glance we have a value bet of a round here.

  4. Re: Copa America > Thursday 7th July Argentina should be desperate to win against Colombia in next match. Although they weren't impressive in first match could prove to be some kind of difference here. Still Columbia is much unknown after first match near-ow win with Costa Rica U22 team. Only real question is if Argentinian coach is capable to put his players in the mood to play like a team. Until now it is hard to say if he is the man for the job. On first glance it looks like Argentina to win at least but much depends on: will players be able to play like a real team...

  5. Re: Champions League » 2009-2010 (14/15 july )

I do not think that Mogren can make any surprise in Denmark tomorroow - Mogren is without capiten Vladimir GluÅ¡ćević one of best players in the squad so anything less than FC Kobenhavn win will be big surprise. I think that Mogren will not score either' date=' so correct score 2:0 is in my opinion...[/quote'] Looks like FC Copenhagen will miss half of their midfield and one influential defender also.
  6. Re: Champions League » 2009-2010 (14/15 july )

ive picked dinamo zagreb' date='partizan belgrade, fk ventspils, maccabi haifa, levski sofia, fc copenhagen, sv red bull, wisla krakow...good choice?[/quote'] Dinamo unreliable when playing in far European east. Pyunik is good team. Partizan is better at home as away. About Maccabi I have no info. Wisla is not playing at home. Other 3 should be ok.
  7. Re: Champions League Qualification

Are there any opinions of tomorrows qualifiers? Any full time players v part time games? FC Salzburg should dispose of Bohemians will minimal fuss shouldnt they?
Not really. Irish can surprise anyone. They are fighting to any team and at this moment they are totally in form in home league. They will miss their captain for this match. Much depends on Salzburg if they are already match fit and motivated to decide this encounter at home.
  8. Re: confederations cup 2009

you guys still insist on Spain fielding a second string squad? do you know something that Marca doesn´t? did you guys talk with Del Bosque?
This should be the lineup: According to AS.COM, Spain's likely formation will be: Reina; Puyol, Albiol, Piqué, Arbeloa; Busquets; Cesc, Xavi, Riera; Villa y Torres
  9. Re: confederations cup 2009

italy are going to qualify anyway, and i cant see them getting more goals than brazil,
Now it really doesn't matter. Italy has to win at least 4:2 to be equal and that is not an option. There were times when Italy was good in the Group. F.e. WC 2006. Italian style (for national team) has changed a lot in last decade. And who was the coach in that time? Also in EC 2008 they had very tough group. But this is Confederation cup and is not of such importance as it is for Egypt and we will see. Tough game expected in any case. But Egypt win would be still a surprise.
  10. Re: confederations cup 2009

egypt look to have the fight in them to be able to keep up with italy after that brazil game, they are not going to be worried about going a goal behind, even thou brazil took their foot of the gas egypt still had to put the ball in the net, definitely see goals in this game too, italy were lucky that the usa had a man sent off so we cant really tell how italy will play yet and a draw means if they can beat brazil then they get the easier game in the semis im trying egypt then draw and italy then draw in the ht ft market at odds of 17s on betfair and i think ill cover it with draw draw @ 6.2 also like the Aboutriaka to score anytime @ 4s
Do you think Italians are counting on beating Brazil? Don't remember last time they managed to do that. Think they are aiming on a draw and better goal difference as Cariocas.
  11. Re: confederations cup 2009

As for Egypt it all depends how hungry there on the day and will need to go and hunt for that first valuable goal to have any chance because I can see if Italy score first it would be all over as Italians will go in lock-down down mode and search for that 2nd killer goal.
    Agree with that.
  12. Re: confederations cup 2009

Not so sure on the Brazilians to be honest, they have a very shaky defence as we saw againts Egypt and also in the World Cup Qualifiers where both Bolivia and Columbia tied Brazil....in Brazil, and Ecuador tied them in Quito. I know USA is better than Columbia, Bolivia and Ecuador so they have a good chance againts a tired Brazilian side. Also looks like Maicon and Juan will sit out of this match, the Roman defender being most likely replaced by Benfica's Luisao.
Brazil was totally unmotivated against Bolivians. They played the match like they were on holidays. They don't show more as they have to in SA qualifications to get to WC. Only if Argentina explodes they have some extra motivation.
  13. Re: confederations cup 2009 Don't believe in Pharaons. Italians know they have Brazil in last match. They are always slow starters. A lot depends on first 20 minutes. If Italians will start like against USA and Egyptians will play as with Brazil in 2nd half than draw is possible. But if Italy stops Pharaons in midfield and scores an early goal they won't leave so much place for counters as Cariocas did. Will see but in any case it will be a tough match for both sides. Brazil should do it but it won't be easy.

Egypt should be able to take the italians. Brazil should be able to take the americans. ;)
  14. Re: confederations cup 2009 I believe Brazil vs USA is great betting game. Brazil will be more focused and USA little bit demoralized after 1st match. Brazil get the peak of the game at the end and USA was slowly loosing through the match. Momentum if definitely on Brazil side. Think they could score first and off course win at the end. But wait for the odds. And first goal won't come soon. Just my opinnion. They can't be worst as today and US can't be much better. And tradition is stongely on side of Penta holders.
