Good news is that defender Alison is back into team as well as speedy striker Adriano. Bahians have strong bench and i can not bet agains them even if there are so many absenses. Re: Brazil Serie B September 28th-29th 2010 Santo Andre - Vila Nova Nobody even though that Santo Andre will fight against relegation this season in serie b, one of the first real candidates for promotion and vice champions of Paulista state competition will have hard time to collect as many points as possible to avoid relegation to serie c. On the other hand Vila Nova were one of the first relegation candidates but for the past month they are playing above every expectation, with 8th matches without a defeat, 6 victories and two draws they are at 16th place in league table, but still fearing of fall to serie c. I still belive in Santo Andre side, they have good squad, although many players left them in transfer period, but they are strengthening their squad to take the club from relegation zone in Serie B. On Monday, the board announced hiring of striker Marques. Striker, 25 years will fight for a spot in the starting lineup with Anderson Gomes and Borebi. America RN, after bad first half of the season improve much, with 22pts earned but stil in relegation battle. On the side of Duque there is nothing to fear about, they are in safe zone with 35pts collected and as they do not have main goal to go to promotion i see this as good value to bet on hosts. Duque are safe for now, and they want to slowly end this season. Top scorer and one of the best players at America is back which is great news for hosts, moreover the guests have three major blows for match ahead, all in midfield, they will miss Leandro Teixeira and Mancuso both injured, as well as Xaves who is injured.
