Hal Of A Lover - Redcar 6:10 6/1 into 5/2 Showed promise on debut at Doncaster (6f). Not knocked about both runs since and bred to relish this longer trip. Likely to improve now he's going handicapping. 1 Point win @ 10/3 (Stanjames) BOG
Was backed into 2/1 and ran a shocker, way down the field. Re: Market Movers Thread Major Miller - Fontwell 4:10 7/1 into 7/2 Won 2½m Perth handicap chase for Nicky Henderson in April 2009. Ran twice for Oliver Sherwood last summer, and just fair efforts over hurdles back with former yard recently after year on sidelines. 1 Point win @ 9/2 (Betfred) BOG Tyrannosaurus Rex - Pontefract 3:30 8/1 into 4/1 Well treated on his 4 wins in 2009, but never really promised to threaten the judge this term. Didn't get the clearest of runs at Beverley last time, though. 1 Point win @ 5/1 (Bet365) BOG Cotton King - Wolverhampton 9:00 16/1 into 5/1 Sold relatively cheaply having not reached the racecourse for original connections, and has offered little in 3 turf maidens. Visor now added to tongue strap, and looks on a stiff mark. 1 Point win @ 6/1 (Bet365) BOG

Re: Market Movers Thread fantastic drift for ya there, puts september up nice..looked at that gamble earlier and thought it had a good profile, but sometime you think "no i've missed the price"...well that worked out anyway concerning the drift i think the owners ran out of money and had none left for the racecourse :unsure great work again

Re: Market Movers Thread

Yeah nice winner tonight mate!! That was a very strange gamble well supported in the weaker markets yet allowed to drift out to bigger than morning price tonight strange one hard to understand! anyhow well done and thank god for BOG lol!
All i can presume Chris is that it is a relatively small stable and they must have put their money on in the morning. Probably no money for it at the track then i presume hence the drift... When i checked the result i could not believe my eyes to be honest. Thanks, and thanks Theboyrooney ..

Re: Market Movers Thread Goat Castle - Worcester 2:20 6/1 into 3/1 Made an inauspicious start to career, let down by jumping/attitude, but fared much better when third of 12 at Ffos Las last month in first-time tongue strap. Stable going very well at present. 1 Point win @ 4/1 (VC) BOG Arashi - Ascot 4:55 14/1 into 6/1 Respectable efforts since opening account at Leicester in April, and unlucky not to add to that since (hampered penultimate start). Stays this far, and shortlisted in current vein. 1 Point win @ 8/1 (Boylesports) BOG Innocuous - Haydock 4:30 13/2 into 7/2 Readily won handicap at Ffos Las in July, and looked unsuited by track (lugged right) when fourth at Goodwood last month. Remains well treated and soft ground will suit, so not to be dismissed. 1 Point win @ 9/2 (Bet365) BOG Alana Banana - Wolverhampton 5:45 40/1 into 11/1 Beat only 2 of 30 rivals in 3 maidens this year when trained by Thomond O'Mara in Ireland, and pulled hard when tailed off on handicap debut over 1m for this yard at Newmarket in June. 1 Point win @ 16/1 (Betfred) BOG

Re: Market Movers Thread Present Alchemy - Newbury 4:55 10/1 into 6/1 Has won 5f Beverley maiden and Salisbury handicap and still looked very much on the upgrade prior to bombing out at Ascot last time. Too soon to write off. 1 Point win @ 8/1 (Boylesports) BOG Valiant Knight - Newbury 5:30 14/1 into 8/1 Won 1¼m maiden at Windsor on reappearance and good efforts when runner-up 4 times in handicaps since, beaten 1¼ lengths by Dhaamer at Sandown last time. Cheekpieces go on first time here. 1 Point win @ 10/1 (Coral) BOG Top Care - Brighton 2:10 8/1 into 9/2 Well-bred colt who has yet to win, but runner-up on last 2 nursery outings over 6f, 2½ lengths behind Krypton Factor at Epsom last time with 2 of today's rivals in behind. Respected. 1 Point win @ 6/1 (Bet365) BOG Rockabilly Rebel - Brighton 3:55 10/1 into 6/1 Made a winning reappearance in a 7f Newmarket handicap in May. Generally run well since (stamina probably stretched at 1m last time), but needs to find a few pounds from somewhere if he's to win. 1 Point win @ 15/2 (Paddypower) BOG

Re: Market Movers Thread From sportinglife.com Salisbury is the quietest meeting of the afternoon so far hosting two match races! The main mover there is in the 5.55 in the form of the Ian Williams-trained Russian Music (12/1 from 16/1). This horse did well on the fibresand when last seen and any softening of the ground should not be an issue. At Newcastle the ground is certain to be testing and the money for Nolecce (10/3 from 4/1) looks quite significant for the Richard Guest yard although we know the current favourite Casino Night will also relish the conditions. Across at Nottingham we have laid Lucky Windmill in the 3.25 who is now 15/2 from 10/1 for a respected yard.

I Hate To Lose - Kempton 6:50 14/1 into 6/1 Sales price rose to ¤65,000 as a 2-y-o. Dam won at 6f/1m and stable has a 25% strike rate with juveniles here, so worth keeping an eye on the market. 1 Point win @ 10/1 (Ladbrokes) BOG
Wow!!! Traded at 1.3 , looked a sure winner then faded tamely and finished 5th or 6th... Will be winning races for sure

Re: Market Movers Thread Captain Royale - Ayr 4:40 6/1 into 7/2 Taken time to find his form this season, but back to best with easy win at Newcastle last month. Good second in claimer last time and another bold showing likely. 1 Point win @ 9/2 (Bet365) BOG Rubi Light - Sligo 5:15 4/1 ino 5/2 Successful over fences in France and created favourable impression when routing field at Limerick before turn of the year. Mostly creditable efforts since and yard back amongst the winners of late. 1 Point win @ 3/1 (VC) BOG

Re: Market Movers Thread Overquest - Hexham 3:50 11/1 into 11/2 Dual winning Irish pointer who didn't look anything special in 3 maiden chases this summer, but will appreciate step up in trip on handicap debut. Market check advised. 1 Point win @ 8/1 (Paddypower) BOG Queenstown Lad - Hexham 5:35 50/1 into 12/1 Good jumping pedigree, but shown more temperament than ability in 3 hurdle starts. Makes handicap debut from miles out the weights. 1 Point win @ 16/1 (Bet365) BOG
