Bohemians summer ins and last season info - Vitaly Trubila from Slavia Prague 10/0 They sold a defender to note 18/0 Michal Pavek. Pretty much the same team as last season. Slavia Prague summer ins and last season info - Ondrej Celustka from Palermo 1/0 Jan Hanus from Hlucin 7/0 Lukas Jarolim from Siena 18/0 Karol Kisel from Sydney FC 29/3 Jiri Koubsky from St Gallen 28/0 Ladeslav Volesak from Ceske which I believe is a loan return. Could be wrong on this one. They have sold first team defender Krajcik to Jablonec 27/1, Senkerik striker 26/4, Midfielder Kysela 7/0. Possibly Jarolim is their biggest buy but to be honest. Non one of great note and they didn't replace their first team defender with anyone great. And didn't strengthen their attack. You look at the teams and think Slavia Prague. Oh big Czech name but away this is not the case. Bohemians arn't a great side but they do play good at home, especially vs Slavia Prague winnning 2 and drawing 2 in the last four. Tulenos Posted July 16, 2010 Share Posted July 16, 2010 Re: Czech Gambrinus Liga The above discussed game between Bohemians and Slavia is actually a bit of a home game for Slavia - the thing is that Bohemians's stadium didn't meet the league criteria and therefore Bohemians are forced to play elsewhere - as it comes they use the Slavia's stadium, which is about 3 km from their own. B's fans not very happy about it as the typical atmosphere will be gone. And I can see Slavia starting at full throttle after a very disappointing last season. Well, and 1.6+ for Slavia actually at home to beat Bohemians. Give me such odds any day of the week. I know it's a bit too early as this is the first round, but can't see past Slavia for now. But the federation decided that the game will be played on the new Synot stadium, and the fans of both sides decided to boycott their support. Bohemians has as target for this season, avoiding relegation. Slavia made some radical changes on the team to reach a European place this season. Slavia failed for the first time in eighteen years the access to a European Cup, and they are investing all in this Gambrinus League. Starting with a win would be great. Almost no favourites delivered, and even Sparta lost after being unbeaten for 33 matches - on the pitch of a newcomer at that. The results were as random as they could get. So I advise a very careful approach. Anyway, Mlada Boleslav look to be a decent price at home on Friday when they host a team with max. mid-table aspirations. MB are traditionally strong at home and want to get to Europe next season so they should win matches like this when there is a clear gap in class. Hopefully more later - actually can't see past Sparta, there was some telling off after last match and some players were rested in Europa League (the tie was already decided). Slavia won at home and drew two away matches (one of them was actually played at their home stadium). The H2H @ Brno is highly favourable for the home team, they won L5, lost once before and drew three times before that, which is why a saver option of laying the home team might look preferrable by some, but I would take a riskier odds-against away win. My friend was on stadium when Brno won 3:1 and told me that they played for 5:1 or 6:1. Dont underestimate Brno now, they are comming back. For me is all this round one big "NO BET". Just look at another leagues, there are better matches to make some money. My call for this match is 0:0 or 0:1 but how I said- no bet for me. The bookies seem to be carried away by Jablonec's good form, but a/ the teams they beat are below-average, b/ Sparta seems to have got better since crashing out of CL, they demolished Brno and won in the cup, c/ the H2H @ Sparta reads 13-1-1 (since 1995, the draw was in 1995, the away win in 2007).
