Hayley Turner retired today officially from race riding with one last winner. She got her mount up on the the line in a thrilling finish in the penultimate race of the International Jockey Challange at Turffontein: http://www.sportingpost.co.za/2015/11/delpech-is-victor-ludorum/

Will post a reply of the race if I find it - well done Haley!

I have always gave Tom Scudamore a hard time but fair play in the Veterans race 3pm Sandown, he was pure class.

Shame Christmas has passed, i'd have sent him a card along with an Olive Branch.

Top Shelf ride Sir Tom.

Tom Scu gets a 7 day ban for his ride in the Veterans Chase - whip use

This seems to be the pattern now........the big race finishes, everyone says what a great race, then the winning jockeys get done for whip abuse

Not good for the game..........

On a (much) lighter note.......did anyone see the lovely Lizzie Kelly on The Morning Line. I'm well smitten with her !

If only I was 40 years younger and 40 times posher...........:loon

the 66/1 shot was a 'jockey change' spare ride........:loon

she's got one more booked......Jolly Red Jeanz in the 4.40

She gave Jazzy a peach of a ride, even better when ya backed it :D

Worst ride of the day goes to..............Robert Havlin in the opener at Lingfield.

Yipp he's a regular on here and if trouble in running can be found Mr Havlin will find it, nice finish at the end making it look good for the camera and what little crowd there would be.

If he was ever in a walkover race, Robert would still get boxed in or meet trouble :@

Two cracking Standout rides today

Pat Dobbs for Mr Hannon in the fillies Group 3, catch me if you can tactics from the front, he knew exactly what horse he had and used the filly to full advantage, great ride and full credit is given.

But the ride of the day goes to Emma Sayer in the ladies race at Haydock, Awesome stuff!!!
