Cro Cop has said he is back to his best after a bad knee in his UFC fights, if he loses this he is out of the UFC. I can see him beating Barry and having a minor run at the title. This should be a top fight IMO, probably the best one for tonight. Both fighters are great punchers, both of them like stand up fight but Mirko is much better on the floor. Barry showed lots of respect for Mirko, he said that Cro Cop was one of his idols and that he's honored to fight against him. Barry has good fitness, fatigue will hardly be his problem cause physically he looks well prepared but two things should decide here; one is Mirko's dominance in parter and other is Mirko's experience in stand up fight. On the floor Barry has absolutely no chances, his biggest weapon are his low kicks but against fighter like Mirko this will hardly be a deadly weapon. To sum it up, Mirko is more complete as a fighter, has more experience than Barry who maybe has too much respect for Croatian and all those things just are heavily going in Mirko's favour. Saw a guy on YouTube predicting a win for Cro Cop, and talked to an MMA friend who said the same, neither of them are at all tied to odds or value - small stakes as this is just blind following. It should be a really good fight, and Mirko has to be a favourite cause he is much more complete despite that he doesn't like fighting in the cage. He trained a lot lately, he looks very confident, didn't saw him in such good mould for few years now. Liddel is very strong physically, but tactically not unlike his opponent who is a complete fighter and is very bold and determined. This is a central fight of this evening and it should be a joy to watch cause both fighters are great punchers. Still, my simpathies are on Franklin's side, and i think he will win this. Thiago is at the moment one of the title fight contenders and oftenly overlooked and underestimated by the UFC. Like most of the brasilians JJ is his main speciality, also he's solid stand up fighter(boxing). Danish fighter is on the other hand very solid wrestler and Muay Thai specialist. Franklin is 5 years younger but seems to me much more "competitive" than CL. Anyway, i doubt Liddell's punches are so fast and accurate like few years ago. Ben Rothwell v Gilbert Yvel: Gilbert Yvel @ 2.40 bet365 Didn't wanted to touch this at first but will back the outsider here cause i see this as a very even fight. Both of them lost their last fight and both of them are fired up for this one cause another defeat would seriously hurt their ambitions. Both of them are stand up fighters, Rothwell's speciality is kickboxing while Yvel trained Muay Thai, but also has purple belt in BJJ. Both fighters are physically very strong, and both of them like direct fight what almost guarantees that this fight will end witk KO. Condit is a very tricky fighter, with 29 MMA fights behind him, specialised for stand up fight. He was better in second round, Barry slightly better in first but better won in the end. This was now officially Mirko's last UFC fight. Liddell v Franklin: Franklin @ 1.80 Bet365 :nana No words to describe this fight... Franklin's heart and determination decided this fight. Guy KO'ed Liddell with broken arm.
