Re: Mexican Primera 24-25/4

Event Cruz Azul - Guadalajara
Selection Cruz Azul
Strength 10/10
Date 25/04/2010
Bookmaker/Price Eurobet @ 1.80 (Back)
Reasoning Cruz Azul will face Guadalajara, a decisive game for the qualification to the “Liguilla”, and they will play it like a final... Cruz Azul is trying to save a irregular season --or we should say bad--, and to that is fundamental enter on “Liguilla”. And Chivas today will play without five main players on their team; And even worse, Chivas is coming from three consecutive defeats, all after their main players left the club to prepare the next World Cup with the national team; and to worst even more the things, their coach decided to put the players with less minutes to play these games before “Liguilla”...

Re: Mexican Primera 24-25/4 Cruz Azul In their previous 3 matches, the team have been unable to secure their qualification to playoffs, as they have lost twice on away to Atlante and Pachuca, and in home barely draw 2-2 against Pachuca (match where coach Enrique Meza rested several players). In home the team has been very strong, and has just one defeat in round 4 and one draw in round 15. But apart from that the team have won every match in home. Won in midweek the first leg of the final of CONCACAF Champions League against Pachuca 2-1 in home, now again in home the team have the chance to achieve qualification to mexican league playoffs, but have to defeat Chivas Guadalajara. Has just one absence fue to National Team callups and even was expected GK Jose Corona to be called, but in the end wasn't and that was something positive for Cruz Azul. FW Emmanuel Villa missed the last match against Cruz Azul, but then in the first leg, scored one goal for Cruz Azul. National Team callup: MF Gerardo Torrado Chivas Guadalajara Chivas faces up to 10 absences, between National Team members callup and injuries the team is facing a hard time, with 3 defeats in their last 3 matches. The coach Jose Luis Real has established that this is a preseason for the team, as since several rounds the team has secure their qualification to playoffs. Several changes in the lineup and experiments by coach Jose Luis Real with the objective of doing great in the playoffs. Has used youth players to encounter their last matches against Morelia, Indios and Atlas. Loosing all of them, with an average of 2 goals per match allowed, and having score none. For this match infront will be FW Omar Arellano and FW Omar Bravo. National Team callup: GK Luis Michel DF Jonny Magallón MF Adolfo Bautista FW Javier Hernández FW Alberto Medina Injured: DF Aarón Galindo GK Hugo Hernandez MF Marco Fabian MF Patricio Araujo MF Juan Campo Match Cruz Azul should dominate the actions as Guadalajara is going to be conservative and continue experimenting, and could be laid back and counterattack to get something fromt his match. Prediction The great result of midweek against Pachuca, that could have been a bigger difference has the team motivated and the good performance in that match should help them to get the result that qualifies them to the playoffs, which is the victory. Cruz Azul @1.67 at Bodog 9/10
