W 2.20

I feel a plot horse in this one, forget what the RP site says Graham Lee is booked for a first time ride for McInnes aboard Pilca and it could just prove to be the first winner under NH rules for the trainer. This horse is an ex Pipe horse and the price of the forecast favourite could well indicate the chances of Pilca if the money doesn’t follow. But why should it have a chance on form? Pilca has won 3 hurdle races in France as a 3yo, all on soft going. When first coming to England it was run in elevated company before getting a handicap mark of 105. Pipe then dropped it to E grade and it finished 3rd on two occasions. In the first race was beaten 2 necks by Imtihan, that horse won it’s next 2 races the second off a 10lb higher mark. The 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th home have all put in displays since to support the form of that race. In the second race Pilca had the race sown up before unshipping McCoy at the last. RP comments: A weak claimer that would have gone to hot favourite Pilca had he not fallen at the penultimate flight. Travelling easily in front having seen off all of his rivals, he simply failed to pick his front legs up going into the hurdle. His quick-thinkingrider used his initiative and jumped back on almost immediately, but proved unable to get his feet back in the irons. Despite giving his mount the utmost assistance in the circumstances, the combination were unable to regain full momentum. Pilca was claimed by H Dalton for 12,000 guineas but only raced for her once. If McInnes has this one tuned up it is without doubt handicapped to have a winning chance. The course should suit and the going perfect for a plot. At 25/1 RP forecast ew recommended. ;) ;)

Re: W 2.20 Graham Lee is in fine form at the minute as well - i think he is a great jockey and he always gives the horse the best of chances - he won the big race at wetherby on sat - and followed it up with three (500/1) winners at carlisle on sunday so his confidence is up,as well as the fact that he already has 40 winners this season - im a great fan of his as he does lots of riding locally here in the north east esp Sedgefield - if he's on board i def gonna ave a ew bet - cheers art - now the horse has to perform as well ha ha ha - thanks for bringing it to our attention mate
