Re: Gaelic Games

Hi guys, If the spread between All Ireland Champions Kerry and Limerick stays @ 6 pt for the Munster Final today I would recommend backing Limerick + 6. Kerry are expecting a hard fought game today, they also don't know there best 15 starters and it's well known that they don't "get going" till the start of August. Yes they have 3 games under their belt already but if Cork had grown a set of balls over the Winter they would have finished Kerry off in Killarney last month. Also the Galvin factor is not there today and can not be brought on. Don't get me wrong, I still think that they will win by 4 or 5 pts but the game will be a close one. Limerick ran Cork very close last year at this stage, and Cork ended up as beaten finalist. Mickey Ned has stated that they have no injury worries and are fit and "chomping at the bit". Get on Limerick + 6 Pablo A Kerryman :ok
:ok:ok:ok:ok

Re: Gaelic Games Fermanagh v Armagh Two sides who were knocked out of the Ulster champ by Monaghan clash on Sunday in Fermanagh. However, thats where the similarities end.Apart from that Monaghan match(sending off of Brian Mallon very important here),Armagh have had an excellent year, winning div 2 of the league and easily accounting for Donegal in the last champ game.Apart from their Ulster champ win over Cavan,Fermanagh have been dreadful all year.Armagh should be in the next round come Sunday evening. 2pts: Armagh -3 @ evens.

Agreed; Fermanagh are pants and a regrouped Armagh should be covering the spread if they have any aspirations of a qualifer run. I'm going; Dublin-3, Down-2, Armagh-3 and Cork -5 in a 4 way Acc. Works out at 6.40 with PP. Dublin and Cork should win well and should be looking to put in season lifting performances. Down are a good side and should win by at least a goal at home to Longford. At over 5/1, that looks like print money to me!! :D

Re: Gaelic Games Offaly v Limerick SHQ Bookies are giving limerick a 9 point headstart today against offaly. Yeah limerick are pretty inexpierienced and offfaly should dispose of them with ease, but i would have the handicap closer to -6 or -7 points. Weather is going to be brutal and i cant see it being a high scoring game My selection is Limerick +9 at 11/10 with Paddy Power.

Re: Gaelic Games Cork v Waterford MSHF Cork have been very impressive so far, trouncing Tipperary and battering Limerick without coming out of second gear. Waterford were less than impressive against a spirited Clare team. Although i dont usually like taking favourites on the handicap with weather this bad, i think cork could rack up another impressive victory here. davy will have waterford fired up for sure, but if O Hailpin and co. can grab a couple of goals against imo a slow and ageing waterford, mullane could be shackled and i can see cork winning this one by 5-6 points. My picks Cork -3 @ evens Cork -4 @ 13/10 with Mr. power again of course!

Re: Gaelic Games Tyrone v Monaghan USFF Really looking forward to this one, usually the heart would say Monaghan and the head would say tyrone but this time both head and heart are saying Monaghan. Very impressive v an Armagh team (which i agree with you guys on the Armagh -3 pick, will be filling my pockets with this one for sure!) which showed they are far from a spent force in their last match. Monaghan absolutely obliterated them after a shocking start, in which past monaghan teams would have crumbled. I think Monaghan themselves will fancy themselves as favourites for this one. Tyrone played well against down and muscle won the day in the end. I dont think Down ever fancied it. Monaghan are playing the short game much better this season and are putting away teams when they take the lead, unlike 2-3 past seasons. Really fancy monaghan to finally end their Ulster hoodoo this year. My Picks Monaghan win @ 5/4 (Just realised this is a week too early but sure might as well take the early price now, will probably back them on the handicap next week) Good luck guys

For those that are following these but haven't done so yet.... VCBet go 21/20 on Armagh -3 and BlueSQ go 11/10 on Cork -3 Not a huge difference.... but every little helps! Really impressive success rate in this thread... and although I know zip about anything Gaelic... I'm following both these, because you guys seem to really know what your talking about! Good Luck :ok

Re: Gaelic Games Just watched the Louth v Meath game, great game, full of passion, commitment and heart . How robbed were Louth ??? A disgraceful decision by the ref/umpires at the end followed by the ref being assualted by disgruntled Louth fans !!! Now watching the Cork v Waterford hurling and a wide ball has been deemed a score.... :puke

Re: Gaelic Games Nice one with armagh guys. :clap Bit dissapointed with Cork after they went 5 points up but im sure wel get it back next weekend in the replay, when the handicap may be even tighter. If meath agree to a replay, (which they should) it would still be little justice for unlucky louth. Let down by a few scumbag fans at the end though. That was disgraceful behaviour. :eek

Re: Gaelic Games Iv it sky +'d and if you see the ref going into the umpires, he dos'nt even ask them, he just tells the one guy to put up the flag. The umpire says "put up the flag??" quite clearly and the ref says yes. The umpires didn't give the goal, (they never raised the flag in the first place) the ref did. What a tool. Wonder if he made it home? :unsure :lol

Re: Gaelic Games BREAKING NEWS... The CCCC has held an emergency meeting following yesterday's disgraceful scenes at the end of the Leinster Football Final. Having reviewed the video evidence and discussed the issue at length, they have reached a decision to suspend Kerry's Colm "Gooch" Cooper for 1 month!!!!!!!

Re: Gaelic Games On a serious note though i backed cork yesterday -3pts but backed them in play @ bet365 +5pts at evens when they were 0-11 - 0-8 down. I've never backed in play before on a gaa match but thought i'd take a look and see what the odds were. May be worth having a look at this site for some good in play bets.
